3-Star Hotels in Mannheim

We are a family of 4 with 2 kids. The room has everything we need. The windows have really good blackout blinds and curtains. We booked the suite which has 1 queen bed and a sofa bed but they setup the sofa bed to fit both our kids in it already when we arrived. Everything was clean! No human contact, checkin/checkout are all online so I suggest to check in the day before and read the instructions and everything will go smoothly. The area is pretty busy so don’t expect to get a free of charge parking space. The area is very convenient for food, groceries and shopping.

Friendly hospitality, convenient location, reasonable price, recommended!

I picked Hotel Wegener because it was close to the main station and was well priced for my budget. I made sure that I arrived before 6pm so reception could show me how the door code worked the room lock. The lift was rather small. My room had a balcony and fan which I used because it was so hot. I went for a walk after 22:00 and took a tram ride back to a nearby stop. The area seemed fairly typical for inner city places close to the main station. There was some tea and a coffee machine at reception which I appreciated. The bed was small but I found it comfortable.

Das Einzelzimmer war sehr geräumig und von der Ausstattung ok. An einigen Stellen (Teppich, Bad) konnte man sehen, dass die letzte Modernisierung/Renovierung schon länger zurückliegt. Insgesamt aber alles voll ok. Das Frühstück ist für 15 Euro ok. Was ist nur gar nicht leiden kann, ist wenn der Kaffee nur lauwarm ist, aber das ist geschmackssache.

In the center of Mannheim, I went to find a public parking lot. There was an underground parking lot about 300 meters away. There was a lot of food on the side. The room was not bad.

The location is very good, facing the lake, overlooking Neuschwanstein Castle. Health is good. Those who come to Neuschwanstein Castle can choose this one. Package meals. Very suitable for couples, families.

This hotel is enough and the parking lot is large. But overall the room is very compact. Anyway, go to Frankfurt or Heidelberg for one night, the price is still very high, it is recommended that friends with limited budgets can choose this one.

I had a great time. Probably one of the best hotel experiences in Germany, because this hotel is located just between Heidelberg and Mannheim! So easy to access both of them!! So I did the first day I looked around Heidelberg and the second day Mannheim and near Frankfurt!! Also the hotel's amenities and cleanliness is perfect!!! I will definitely stay again
