Great
GGuest UserWe stayed in another Drury before and we repeated. Good enough but not as much as the other one in San Antonio. As for the service... we arrived around 1 AM (previously booked) and nobody was at the front desk... for almost 30 minutes. Breakfast was not as complete as in the other facility, either. Good, but not as much as our first experience with Drury Inn & Suites San Antonio, which was exceptional.
GGuest UserHotel was fairly new and clean. The breakfast was buffet with cheese omelette, link sausage, gravy, hash browns, biscuits and everything else.
GGuest UserI was traveling through Amarillo on my way home. I had my dog with me. I had stayed at another hotel in town that charged me $75 pet cleaning charge. Decided on Holiday Inn Express. Good Decision!!
YYITAOVery good hotel, friendly service, the locals in Texas are the manager and the front desk, very warm, the environment is clean, the bed and bedding are very good, the only regret is that the countertop in the bathroom is relatively small, and the breakfast also meets the standard of the hotel. Standard, the coffee is also very good, the traffic location is also very good, and it is also close to Walmart,
GGuest UserThe hotel and service was everything you would expect from a Marriott property. Staff was super friendly and attentive to any needs. Hotel is modern, clean, and up to date for a location that was built in 1927. Surprising good night life and several restaurants that are within walking distance of the hotel. Several right across the street. A very quiet pleasant stay. Didn't hear people coming or going from their rooms at all hours of the nights. I had a room that was next to the elevator and never heard it once and this was on a busy weekend. The only downfall with the property was a lack of pool/spa. So this may or may not be a deal breaker if you are trying to entertain kids.
GGuest UserRenovation was underway so facility appearance wasn’t great, but room was clean and comfortable, appropriately stocked. I would stay there again.
GGuest UserWe only stopped for the night, so we didn’t use any amenities. It was a very nice hotel with friendly staff. I do wish that smokers would not be allowed near the door. It kept opening and the smell of cigarette smoke clouded the lobby.
