4-Star Hotels in Changde

It was my first time staying in this hotel. The environment was very good, the facilities and equipment were very new, and the MSS at the front desk checked me in very quickly. The hotel's buffet breakfast was on the 4th floor, and there was also a self-service laundry room and gym on the 4th floor. There was also a separate underground parking lot inside the hotel, and no license plate entry was required, which was rare in other hotels. Parking and exit were super convenient. There was also a delicious late-night snack shop opposite at night, which was open until very late, and was very friendly to people who stayed up late.

Traveling with my parents and kids, a total of six people, we booked two rooms – one with a king bed and one with twin beds. The beds were large and the environment was clean. Out of all the places we've stayed, this one was the most surprisingly good. The front desk staff were excellent. We'll definitely be back!

Our stay in the king-size bed room exceeded expectations! The room was meticulously cleaned, even the corners were spotless. The large bed was spacious, the mattress was just right in terms of firmness, and the pillows were comfortable – all the day's fatigue melted away. The soundproofing in the room was good, and the blackout curtains worked perfectly. The bathroom had hot water quickly and stable water pressure. The front desk staff were enthusiastic, and check-in/check-out was efficient. The location was also convenient for getting around. Highly recommend! [Strong]

It was too late to pass by Zhangjiajie and stayed for one night. The hotel environment is good, the mattress is very comfortable, the 2 1.35 meters beds with children are more spacious to sleep, his house also has a banquet hall, the breakfast is rich, the taste is very good, the next door is the high-speed rail station, because there are not many trains, it is quieter, Next to the charging station, charging is more convenient, there is a barbecue restaurant opposite the taste is good, affordable, overall it is very recommended.

Service: Very good, patient and meticulous. Environment: A separate building is an independent hotel with no external interference. Hygiene: neat, clean and tidy. Facilities: There are Chinese restaurants and other facilities. There is a river not far away for you to stroll.

I'm absolutely smitten with the Waldorf Hotel after my visit to Changde! First off, I have to rave about the room – it's incredibly spacious with a well-thought-out and expansive layout. There's no cramped feeling whatsoever, making for a truly relaxing stay. The service is also top-notch, with attention to detail that really makes you feel cared for, leading to an excellent overall experience. And the breakfast definitely deserves praise; it offers a wide variety of delicious options. It's such a joy to head out and explore after a satisfying meal! All in all, this is definitely a hidden gem of a hotel in Changde that's worth booking~

We needed accommodation for the night to catch an early flight the next morning. Location: Ideally located within 10-15 minutes from the Airport, with convenient access to restaurants and massage services within walking distance. Cleanliness: We found the place to be impeccably clean with no issues whatsoever. Service: The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Facilities: One standout feature was the presence of a little shop in the lobby, which we found quite convenient. Some shops were closed as we were traveling during Chinese New Year. I liked the availability of modern sitting toilets and squatting toilets. The provided slippers were remarkably comfortable, and we also found the establishment to be U.S. passport-friendly. Not bad for the price you pay for.

The hotel stay exceeded my expectations and deserves a high rating! The front desk staff were warm and attentive, efficient in check-in, and patient and friendly. The room was clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding, excellent natural light and soundproofing, ensuring a very restful rest. The bathroom facilities were complete, with plenty of hot water, and attention to detail was evident. The hotel environment was quiet and elegant, the public areas were clean and orderly, and the location was convenient for getting around. The housekeeping service was prompt and attentive, making the experience very pleasant. It offers excellent value for money and is suitable for both business and leisure travel. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time and highly recommend it!

Great location, very close to both Dahe Street and Xiaohe Street. The room was spacious and bright, well-equipped with everything we needed, and even included laundry detergent, which was a thoughtful touch. The service was excellent; they gave us detailed and patient recommendations for the surrounding area. Highly recommend!

The hotel's location is great – it's not noisy, but still only about a 20-minute walk to attractions like Daxiaohe Street and the Poetry Wall, or a roughly 15-yuan taxi ride. There are also plenty of good restaurants nearby. What really stood out was Manager Chen's professionalism; she helped us resolve an issue very promptly. Five stars across the board! I do have two suggestions regarding breakfast: 1. I recommend adding a lightbulb to the rice noodle station's prep area. It's too dark for the staff working there, which could be a safety hazard. 2. It would be beneficial to add another staff member to the breakfast area to work alongside the current attendant. One person could handle refilling and serving food, while the other focuses on cleaning. Otherwise, the current attendant is left juggling a cleaning cloth and serving at the same time.
