We ”rejected” the housekeeper's kindness and walked all the way into Jiuhua Old Street. When we were about to get lost in the dotted alleys, the B&B suddenly appeared in front of us. ”Alley”, as its name suggests, is hidden among alleys. The afternoon sun was just right. When we walked in, the snow that fell last week had not completely melted. The white walls and green tiles, a small courtyard, and a big tree shone in the warm winter sun. After getting familiar with the terrain, I found that the location of the B&B is very good, with major temples, the cable car to the Centennial Palace, and the bus to the rooftop for transfer all nearby. What also left a deep impression on me were the three young girls in the B&B. They were full of laughter, very cute, and felt like family.

She assisted us with the luggage and introduced us to the precautions for burning incense and worshipping Buddha in Jiuhua Mountain. She was very considerate. The room was clean and hygienic, with plenty of hot water. You can watch movies in the lobby, which is very warm

The hotel environment is exceptionally good. The rooms are clean and tidy, with warm color schemes that look very comfortable. You can even see the scenery of Mount Jiuhua from the hotel! The owner and staff are very enthusiastic and provide excellent service, explaining the best routes for a pilgrimage to Mount Jiuhua to every guest. The hotel's breakfast is also quite delicious, with a good variety of food.

I chose the family room at Yuanhang Hotel based on Ctrip reviews and its proximity to the Cultural Park. The room itself was decent. However, the hotel seemed to have very few guests, resulting in no air conditioning in common areas like the lobby and corridors. It was sweltering hot the moment you stepped out of your room. Additionally, our room was quite a distance from the elevator, and we'd be drenched in sweat just walking there. While I can understand conserving electricity due to low occupancy, the entire hotel felt deserted. Breakfast was also very subpar, with one of the salted duck eggs even being spoiled. The only redeeming quality was the Chinese restaurant, which offered good food and generous portions. Despite the staff being very friendly, the overall state of the hotel's facilities severely impacted our stay, making for an unpleasant experience. I had initially hoped to walk to the Cultural Park, but it was too hot, so we ended up taking a taxi for a flat rate of 10 RMB. This effectively negated the benefit of the hotel's location for walking. I believe this hotel might be more suitable for guests visiting Mount Jiuhua who prioritize being close to the visitor center.

Staying at the Manlan Hotel when visiting Jiuhua Mountain was an absolutely fantastic experience! The location is incredibly convenient, right next to the Dayuan Cultural Park. The most amazing part is being able to see the 99-meter-tall Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva statue right from your room – it's truly breathtaking to lie down and gaze at it. The hotel is nestled within Lotus Town, with its white walls and dark tiles creating a very serene, Zen-like atmosphere. Wandering around and enjoying some tea really helps you feel peaceful. The service is also very attentive, with a butler-style approach; just let them know if you need anything. Breakfast is plentiful, offering authentic Anhui cuisine and vegetarian options. The biggest surprise was that it's pet-friendly! Being able to stay in such a tranquil place with my furry friend was a huge bonus! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Jiuhua Mountain.
