"Although it is a five-star hotel, the environment is really average. The room is big enough, but the hygiene is very poor. When I was taking a shower, I found cigarette butts on the floor of the shower room. The towels were also torn and yellow, and the bathroom was leaking directly to the toilet. The soundproofing in the room was very poor, and the voices of people outside were clearly heard. The bed was also very hard, and I could smell the cigarettes in the pillow in the second half of the night. This hotel should be a hotel that cooperates with travel agencies. I don’t know if this is the reason why the service staff are very indifferent. I asked the front desk if the hotel staff could send the takeaway up, but they replied that it was not possible and I had to go down and get it myself. This is not the service level that the service staff of a five-star hotel should have. In short, the experience is very poor!"

"First of all, the hotel's location is excellent, right next to the ticket gate, and across the street from the core temple complex of Jiuhua Mountain. The temples are just steps away, making worshipping Buddha incredibly convenient! There's a direct bus to Huatai right outside the hotel, and the shuttle bus stop is just a minute or two's walk uphill, making it perfect for families with children and elderly members—no walking required. I must commend the hotel front desk staff on the morning of May 4th. When I checked out that morning, I left my jacket with my car keys in my room. I had already boarded the shuttle bus to Huatai, so I immediately called the front desk. The staff promptly went to my room, found my jacket and car keys, and placed them on the next shuttle bus to Huatai. I'm so grateful!!!"

"The room was diagonally across from the elevator, next to the restaurant. The noise of people cleaning the hallway early in the morning was deafening, and the restaurant was crackling. I had specifically requested a quieter room, so I couldn't sleep in the morning. 😓 The room was okay for a county town, but it looked like no one had stayed there in a while. The bedside was covered in dust, and no one had bothered me. The worst part was the smell of the sheets. I wore pajamas specifically for the occasion, and in the morning, I had red spots all over my body, and it was incredibly itchy. It was itchy all over. This was the first time I needed this kind of treatment, and it wasn't contagious. 🦠"

It is a garden-style hotel. Cars cannot enter, but there will be a shuttle bus to pick you up and drop you off. It is still very convenient. Special praise to Manager Jiameng. He knows Jiuhua Mountain very well and helped me plan my time and route reasonably. Get twice the result with half the effort."

"Every year when I visit Jiuhua Mountain, I stay at Dongya, and after several years, it's starting to show its age a bit. The design of the bathroom, where you have to walk through the toilet area to get to the shower, is a bit odd. The elevator only goes up to the 4th floor, so if you're staying on the 5th floor, you have to take the stairs. The breakfast buffet is mainly vegetarian, and because there are so many guests, it can be hard to find a table at times. The hotel has a parking lot, and the staff are good at directing traffic, but parking spots are also tight. Overall, the hotel is decent in most aspects, but with the growing tourism market, it's time for some improvements and upgrades."
