This was my second trip to Xingyi, and I convinced my international friends to choose Wanfenglin over Yangshuo. This hotel made our trip perfect from start to finish. The staff were all efficient, warm, and friendly, always ready to help with anything we needed, whether it was arranging a car rental, sending a package, or doing laundry. The breakfast was varied and plentiful, and on warm evenings, they even offered iced mung bean porridge. When we left, they gave us a gift of colorful rice, which was such a touching gesture! The room was clean and tidy, with a convenient wet/dry separation in the bathroom. Before bed, I even did some stretches following along on the large TV. And the stunning view from the window? That goes without saying! Don't forget to wear something nice and head up to the rooftop for some beautiful photos. The village is very quiet at night, so you don't need to worry about noise. Rent a bicycle and you can get to the Lower Nahui market in just 10 minutes. In the early morning or evening, take a stroll down to the boardwalk to see the dam and the large waterwheel, then wander through the fields – it's incredibly pleasant! Thank you, ladies! The variety was dazzling—hot, freshly made dishes, fresh fruit, and delicate snacks. After eating, I felt completely energized, and even the flavors were tailored to my preferences. I especially loved their plain noodles. The view from the room was absolutely stunning! Just open the window and you'd see the Wanfeng Forest across the street. The mountain scenery, with its layered peaks unfolding like an ink painting, is breathtaking. Mornings are shrouded in mist, and evenings are bathed in the glow of the setting sun. Sitting by the window, sipping tea and enjoying the view, time seems to slow down. The toiletries in the room were also incredibly thoughtful; the high-end brand scent was fresh and not overpowering, and the texture was exquisite. I even shamelessly asked the owner for an extra set to take on my next trip. The high-end facilities were absolutely fantastic. The bedding was soft and plush, and the bathroom was impeccably clean with a separate shower and toilet. It was a truly comfortable stay. How does a stay being outstanding from others with same location, same scenery and surroundings? These are the important points that affects me: 1. The service 2. The cleanliness 3. The connection (with their guest) Hechu Minsu gives me the best experience with all the above. Awesome stays with them! Although they require a certain amount of deposit, look at the amenities and facilities, to me, it's necessary and it's refundable anyway. The quality of the stays come from a bad experience of the Minsu owner in other places, thus she set the standard with hers. Will definitely come back!

For breakfast, there was no need to go far; just two turns from the hotel entrance was a local breakfast spot that had been open for over a decade. Even getting to the nearby high-speed train station by taxi took only fifteen minutes. Whether you're a traveler with a packed itinerary or just looking for a relaxing getaway, getting around is exceptionally convenient. I was immediately won over by the front desk staff's attitude during check-in. As soon as we reached the entrance, someone proactively offered to help with our luggage and handed us cool welcome towels. When we asked for directions, they not only patiently explained the route but also offered a printed simplified map of the attractions, advising us which sections were best for photos and where to find the most authentic snacks. When we requested to adjust our check-out time, there was no hint of impatience; they quickly helped coordinate everything. They even assisted in contacting reliable venues for a local intangible cultural heritage experience that we casually inquired about. After this trip, the comfortable accommodation experience significantly enhanced our journey. Whether I visit this area again or recommend it to friends, this hotel will definitely be my top choice.
