lj5229363The location is a bit off, but it is very quiet. The hotel can also be easily rented by car. It is suitable for a quiet holiday. The villa has all the facilities and the swimming pool is directly opposite the sea.

jaollyKrabi's Phulay Bay beach offers the most stunning sunsets and evening glows. You can enjoy exquisite dining while watching the sunset here. I highly recommend Sritrang, a Michelin-starred Thai restaurant, for its unique cooking style. The pool bar also serves excellent drinks and light meals, and Lealay Seafood Restaurant boasts incredibly fresh and refined ingredients. Breakfast is fantastic too, with a semi-buffet and delicious coffee and champagne.
We booked a Sea View Pavilion on the second floor, above the Hidden Garden. Each compound typically has four villas. Our room was spacious with very high ceilings, and the bathroom ceiling had petal-shaped glass, allowing you to see the sky. The room came equipped with flip-flops, a woven bag, a straw hat, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, and aloe vera gel. However, I'd suggest bringing your own high-SPF sunscreen. My only minor gripes were that the bed was a bit too large, making it inconvenient to get out from only one side, and there were simply too many mosquitoes – I got two swollen bites every day.
Our butler, Maya, was a lovely girl – very attentive and patient. She was excellent at driving the buggy, always available on call, and communicated seamlessly via WeChat for dining reservations and activity bookings, always ready to translate. Every morning at 9 AM, a boat departs for Hong Island. You can reserve with your butler the day before, using the room's woven bag and straw hat. The boat crew provides snorkeling gear, but honestly, the snorkeling at Hong Island beach was terrible. Visibility was very poor, and I only saw five-striped damselfish. Personally, I don't think snorkeling there is worth it. However, the 360-degree viewpoint on Hong Island is absolutely fantastic – you must climb to the top for the incredible views! You can also arrange with your butler for a car to visit a nearby 7-Eleven for any small items you might need.
In conclusion, despite the long journey and requiring a transfer in Bangkok, it's definitely worth the trip.

The hotel staff were tremendous and a definite asset. Thoroughly enjoyed the morning yoga sessions we attended with Sasha, who ensured an inclusive session for all levels. In a lovely setting and away from it all but you will need to taxi, or use shuttle to get anywhere. There is a small bar just outside hotel - left as you exit - ran by a couple of local brothers. It’s worth a visit definitely.
I get it’s an Eco Hotel and independent but many of the hotel facilities are not what you would expect of a 5 star: gym is very rudimentary and some of kit, not in great nick; the rooms - we had a swim up suite - were quite dated furniture-wise and showing signs of extended wear and tear for instance The wi-fi for us was non-existent in room, and very hit and miss (mostly miss) in and around pool area. I’d imagine this might be a big issue for young families…
The breakfast was fine, as was the rooftop bar food.
In summary a pleasant enough stay, but not sure it was value for money at the price, and not comparable really to hotels we’d stayed at beforehand and since on this trip. I’d say a four star at best…

nikkifengThe room was very spacious and clean, making for a very comfortable stay. I especially loved the hotel's private beach – it was clean, not crowded, and felt very safe, with excellent facilities. I really enjoyed my time here; the staff were all incredibly nice and accommodating. Definitely worth another visit!

Guest UserOverall, the stay was good, but I don’t feel it was worth the price.
I mentioned in advance that we were celebrating a birthday, but the hotel did not provide any special arrangements—not even a simple room decoration. In comparison, the second hotel we stayed at was much more affordable, yet they prepared a simple room decoration and even provided a birthday cake, which was a thoughtful touch.
One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was because it has its own beach club. Unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. There were only a couple of occupied tables, and the atmosphere felt more like a regular beachfront restaurant than a beach club. There was no live music, and it closed relatively early at 8:30 PM.
On a positive note, the food at the Sip Pool Bar & Beach Club was very good. However, the breakfast was quite basic and offered limited variety.
That said, I would still recommend this hotel to travelers who prefer a quiet, peaceful, and relaxing environment.

This was my second stay at this hotel. The front desk attendant who spoke Chinese had a lovely, sweet smile, and all the staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The hotel facilities were fine, but I do hope for more variety at breakfast. The clear waters and complimentary water activities are a definite plus. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets in the evening and a stunning starry sky at night.
My only complaint concerns the two-bedroom ocean view pool villa we booked this time. We stayed in room 2302, and the air conditioning vent had a design flaw: it was positioned directly above the main bed, and the noise was so loud that it kept us awake for several nights. We complained to the front desk, and they sent staff to adjust the vent to blow left, right, and upwards, but it didn't make a noticeable difference. We requested a room change, but the hotel was almost fully booked, so they couldn't accommodate us. Our request for an early check-out was also unsuccessful.
To fellow travelers planning a stay: if you're booking a villa, I strongly recommend opting for the upper floor Sala Ocean View Villa. Do NOT book the type I stayed in, otherwise you'll truly regret it – it's a waste of money, and your overall experience will be severely compromised.

Very good. As soon as you arrive, a lot of food and drinks have been prepared. You must also experience the breakfast service. Breakfast will be cooked downstairs and there will be a barbecue in the villa. The butler will also help you book various sea tours before going out. Booking a car with a butler is much cheaper than outside! The environment is very good. I went with my friends and the overall experience was great! Recommended! ! !

This was my first time staying at a hotel with traditional Thai architecture, like what you’d see in palaces and temples, and it was such a cool experience. The room was totally worth the price, clean, tidy, and pretty spacious for just me traveling alone. The vibe of the place is peaceful and perfect for relaxing, yet it’s only a few steps away from the beach!
There’s also a swimming pool which is great for families and kids friendly. Plus, there's a local night market not too far away, which was great to check out. The breakfast here was spot on, and the staff were all so nice and helpful.
Overall, I had an amazing time and would definitely come back again! 😍
