Facilities: The in-room facilities are all brand new and kept very clean and tidy. The owner maintains the courtyard beautifully. Hygiene: Someone cleans and disinfects the rooms every day, which made me feel completely at ease during my stay. Environment: When I first booked, I was quite concerned about false advertising – perhaps the environment wouldn't be good or the photos wouldn't match reality – so I only booked one night. However, upon arrival, I was wonderfully surprised! I immediately decided to extend my stay for a second night! It's a shame my travel plans were tight and I could only stay two nights; I truly wished I could have stayed longer! It's incredibly comfortable, and I hope to come back for a few days every year if I get the chance! Service: The B&B is run by the owner couple themselves, creating a very comfortable and homely atmosphere. After parking at lot #7, the owner will come pick you up in a shuttle. They also have a quiet dog named 'Laifu'~~ The owner likely cooks as well, but unfortunately, I didn't get to try their food this time! I definitely want to taste their cooking on my next visit! I forgot to take photos of the B&B 📷~~ So I can only post some pictures of Xidi Ancient Village, but staying here was truly wonderful~~

Tachuan's autumn was made even more beautiful by this guesthouse. I searched on Ctrip for a long time, worried about hygiene issues, but this guesthouse really paid attention to details and was very clean. The moment I opened the door, the automatic welcoming ceremony from 'Xiao Ai' (smart speaker) was very touching. It's right at the entrance of Hongcun and the price is excellent value for money. The proprietress is very kind, and the young man who checked me in, Manager Xiao Wang, was extremely helpful with excellent service. From picking me up at the station to helping me find a car for my travels, he saved me the anxiety and exhaustion of not having a car in Hongcun. The prices were also reasonable. Anyone worried about drivers getting upset in Hongcun can completely entrust their needs to him. At the village entrance, he even used a small electric cart to help with my luggage. There are Hello e-bikes nearby, so you can go to Lucun early in the morning to watch the sunrise. Thank you for providing such a 'utopia' after my busy work. The hygiene was indeed top-notch!

When I know that we have not eaten well, although after the meal, the boss also cooks in person. Let us order as needed, fried and cooked, and we will wait for us to come back for dinner in the evening to wipe out the fatigue of the journey. Highly recommended B&B! The location is wonderfully secluded, and the rooms are cozy and tastefully decorated in a Japanese style. The courtyard is very thoughtfully designed; every photo you take turns out beautifully. Most of the staff are *******, and they are incredibly warm and welcoming. Having just returned from a trip to Tibet this year, I felt an instant connection 🥰. I especially have to mention the B&B's dinner. We originally planned to eat in Hongcun but couldn't find a restaurant we liked, so we decided to head back to the B&B (they even offer shuttle service to Hongcun!). We pre-ordered our meal with the manager, so it was ready when we got back. We ordered stinky mandarin fish, free-range chicken soup, and stir-fried eggs with stone ear fungus. Every dish was made with super fresh ingredients and tasted absolutely amazing, especially the chicken soup. It was definitely made with free-range chicken, something you just can't find in Shanghai – so delicious! The portions were generous too; we couldn't finish it all. The manager even suggested saving the rest for chicken noodle soup the next morning. Wow, such thoughtful service! They also gave us a parting gift when we left. I love the atmosphere here and every single staff member. If you're coming to Tachuan, choose to stay here – you definitely won't regret it!

I stayed in Hongcun for three nights, and the experience far exceeded my expectations. It's a typical Hui-style old house renovation, preserving the wooden courtyard and carved windows; staying there felt like stepping back in time. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, and the bedding and toiletries were carefully selected. What touched me most was the butler's service—they picked me up at the village entrance, helped with my luggage, and prepared hot tea for me every time I returned home—it felt like coming home. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

Zhang Mansion is much more than just a hotel: it is an authentic experience inside an ancient traditional mansion, perfectly immersed in the historic atmosphere of Hongcun. It almost feels like being transported back in time, into the quiet and refined beauty of China from several centuries ago. The interiors are full of charm, history, and character, and staying here allows you to experience the village in a much deeper way than a simple day visit. The atmosphere is calm, evocative, and almost cinematic. A very sweet detail: the property’s cat and dog are genuinely lovely and add an even warmer, more memorable touch to the experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, romantic, and timeless stay.

This hotel totally exceeded my expectations! The room was spacious and bright, and the bedding was so soft and comfortable that I had a great night's sleep. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful, and both check-in and check-out were very efficient. The location is excellent, making it super convenient to get around, and there's a convenience store right downstairs. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with both Western and Chinese options. The city night view from the window was stunning, and the soundproofing in the room was excellent too. Whether you're here for business or leisure, this is an absolutely fantastic choice. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in this city, and I highly recommend it to all my friends!

The hotel is on the edge of the South Lake. It is very convenient to go to the arch bridge in 1 minute. It is really beautiful to get up early in the morning to shoot the South Lake in the morning light. It takes only 5 minutes to get to the moon marsh and Chengzhitang. The hotel is elegantly furnished, the boss is very intimate, contact in advance, pick up the luggage at the south gate when you arrive, and send it back to the south gate after check-out. If it is not for the boss to pick up and drop off with a trailer, it is estimated that my suitcase will dance on the stone road until it is scrapped. Although the homestay does not include breakfast, there are several breakfast shops as soon as you go out, which is convenient. The room has a small courtyard and a bathtub, which is not light luxury. It's simply a luxury.

The rooms are impeccably clean and tidy, with complete and thoughtful amenities. The bedding is so soft it ensures a good night's sleep, the Wi-Fi coverage throughout the building is incredibly smooth, and parking is exceptionally convenient. The service is the biggest surprise! The receptionist was warm and attentive, responding instantly to any needs, making you feel right at home. The guesthouse's location is superb; you can walk to the heart of the Tachuan scenic area, and there are cafes and restaurants nearby, making it easy to find food and activities. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Tachuan!

It happened to rain when we arrived at the parking lot outside the scenic spot on the day of check-in. The boss came to pick us up in the rain and sent special snacks to the hotel. It was delicious! He also took the initiative to help us upgrade to a large room, which was very considerate. It was a very pleasant and comfortable accommodation experience!
