"The house has a lovely small courtyard and two inner halls, all exquisitely charming. The location is superb, right next to Yueyao Bookstore, with a small arched doorway directly facing Yueyao Pond. Yet, once inside, it's a world of its own; the high horse-head walls block out all the hustle and bustle beyond the dark-tiled roofs, making it incredibly quiet. From the second-floor room, you can see a small world of neatly arranged tiles and a peaceful sky. The triple room was just right for two people and quite clean. The host also provides pick-up and drop-off service at the village entrance."

"This hotel inside the hongcun village was great! They helped me with a ride from the entrance and back to the station even when I booked it very last minute the same day. The room was very comfortable, spacious and had all the amenities I needed. The location is amazing, just by the moon pond, very centric to everything inside the village. Definitely recommend this place to stay during your time in hongcun!"

"Staying within the scenic area was fantastic! No need for constant ins and outs, and the main attractions were right on our doorstep. The new building had a great fresh feel to it, blending traditional Huizhou architectural style with modern decor. The courtyard had a wonderful ambiance, and the small bridge and fish pond were perfect for photos. The owner was incredibly nice, offering free pick-up and drop-off services and even helping with our luggage. It was great value for money and I'd highly recommend it for a short trip."
