"The room size was just right for our family of three. The location is fantastic, right outside is Moon Pond, which I could watch all day. There are plenty of great food options nearby. As soon as you enter the guesthouse, it's incredibly quiet, so you don't have to worry about any outside noise. The owners are really nice and helpful, they recommend attractions and restaurants, and they even helped carry our luggage to the entrance of Hongcun village."

It looked nice but was uncomfortable to use (because of the step and because there was no space to get on and off on the side next to the window)."

"The most satisfying choice for self-driving trips is that there is a parking lot of its own. There is plenty of parking spaces to worry about, and there is no need to find parking spaces everywhere to detour. The hotel has its own restaurant, and the home-cooked food tastes very appetizing. It is especially easy to go out to find a restaurant. The room was clean, the bedding was comfortable, the price was really high, and I would stay here next time."

"The owners are very friendly and helpful with us being overseas visitors giving us local tips what to see and helped us with our luggages at checkin and checkout. We speak limited mandarin but they are patient with us. They even sorted out our dinner for the first night. A note is that you pay Hongcun attraction ticket to stay with them as they are inside Hongcun attraction and it is convenient to stay out late and not to rush out. The homestay is beautiful decorated. The closest drop off point is the Hongcun South parking lot which is useful to know if you never been to Hongcun. Will stay there again."

"This guesthouse is located in the heart of the scenic area, a century-old house that offers tranquility amidst the bustling surroundings. It provides quick access to core attractions like Yuetang Pond and Nanhu Lake. The owner is very thoughtful, evident in the room decor, furniture, and choice of toiletries – taste is revealed in every detail. They also provide emotional value to guests, with shuttle service from the scenic area parking lot, welcome fruits, and farewell gifts. The service is also well-balanced. I'd especially like to praise the breakfast and the garden. Although the breakfast is served à la carte with limited options, almost everything is delicious. The guesthouse has a large backyard garden. After a long day of sightseeing, returning and sitting on a rocking chair in the garden makes it feel as if the whole world stands still. The only minor drawback is the poor sound insulation, which might affect light sleepers."

"After a hike, I arrived in Hongcun in the afternoon and checked into Zuoxian Art Micro Hotel. The hotel's exterior is ordinary, but the interior design is excellent and very unique. The service was also great; they provided recommendations for sightseeing and more. In the lobby's public area, there are three cats with distinct personalities, all very cute. The room was quite spacious and well-equipped with all amenities, and the bedding was very comfortable. Upon check-in, we received complimentary mung bean soup to cool down. Breakfast was a set meal with noodles and wontons, more than enough to fill up. The soy milk was rich, but the coffee was just so-so. Dinner tasted pretty good. The hotel is very close to Hongcun, making it easy to walk there. I would consider staying here again on my next trip to Hongcun."
