Dominique was amazing! From the time we arrived to the last minute. Breakfast was great, the bed was comfy and the attention to detail was amazing. We will definitely be back!!

Гостеприимный хозяин, хорошая локация в начале прекрасной тропы вдоль океана, однако магазины и рестораны подальше, придется прогуляться. Мы были не в сезон, и посидеть на террасе с барбекю не удалось, но стоит отметить электрические матрасы, на которых спалось тепло и уютно. Единственное пожелание - мы столкнулись с недостатком переходников для европейских розеток. Мы их нашли с большим трудом, чтобы зарядить свои телефон

The location is very good, on the side of the sea and the street, you can walk there. The hotel is not big, but there is a parking space inside, you can open and close the door by yourself, the proprietress is standard English, and I will go next time I have a chance.

Had a splendid 2 night stay and wish we could have stayed longer. The staff made us feel so welcome. They are exceptionally polite and well informed on the surrounding area. We were provided with a map full of helpful suggestions, and a thorough introduction to the lodge and all it's facilities upon check-in. The lodge is located right next to Hermanus New Harbour and a few steps from the cliff path, which is well worth the walk. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. It opens onto a beautiful, well maintained garden area but a few steps from the pool. Breakfast was fantastic (reccommend the Full English!), and a lovely selection of breads, cereals, fruits, cold meats, yogurts etc at the buffet. Truly, no complaints. Would absolutely stay again.

The hotel is located conveniently only 5 mins from Ficks Pool and a short walk from the main shops. The hotel upgraded us to a balcony sea view room and we received complementary wine. The room was beautiful, very clean, with dstv and netflix services available. We also had a bathtub and a lovely balcony view. During load shedding the main lights remained on and the wifi was still active. The staff was also very kind and professional.

We really enjoyed our stay in this place! The hosts are wonderful people! Natalie communicates with the guests every morning, interested as things. They are so pleasant, with them you feel like with old friends. The room is clean and very spacious and very airy, bed and pillows are comfortable. The location is excellent - 5-10 minutes before walking along the ocean. We would be happy to stop here again.

I liked Baleia. Friendly staff and check-in, even when we were a bit late. Rooms were big and had everything needed. Location and breakfast were good. The only downside is that they seem to have run out of hot water due to a big group staying there. Considering the price, not having hot water was not great, imo. Hopefully this won’t be an issue for other guests in the future.
