Wonderful, as the reviews state. Spotless & comfortable. Exactly as photos. Every need catered for by friendly welcoming hosts, who gave eatery & travel tips. Superb breakfast. Chosen as solo to walk into town. Left car throughout. Lovely relaxing break. Thank you Maria & Martin

Avon park House is first class. It is very well run by Martin and Maria. Everything works. The rooms are very clean and well equipped with many extras. Breakfast is well organised with a wide choice. The food is excellent. I have been coming for some years,and things are regularly upgraded over time. There is free car parking ,very useful in Stratford. It is an easy and enjoyable walk into the town using the Old Tramway. Martin does offer a small reduction for solo travellers unlike so many guest houses who charge a standard room rate.

Very friendly, clean, well organised with good size showers and great breakfasts. Very convenient for Stratford centre and the RSC theatre by an easy walk along the old tramway although not lit at night. Free off road parking too. Restaurants in easy walking distance.

Lovely b&b room was a nice size, shower was a nice size but bathroom a little tight. Very clean and we had tea & coffee in our room & fridge. Nice little pub a couple of minutes walk if you didn’t want to walk in to town.Breakfast was very nice. Lovely walk along the tram line in to town about 10 minutes walk where all the restaurants and shops are all in all a very pleasant stay. Much just mention I booked the superior room at back with balcony thinking it would be nice to sit in the evening with a drink but was told to be careful as the decking was not safe so we couldn’t sit out there very disappointing.

Just had a lovely stay here. Rooms lovely and clean. Had the most beautiful view over the garden. Breakfast was whatever you would like plenty of choice. The hosts so welcoming and nothing too much trouble for them. Short walk into town. Would definitely recommend.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Avonpark House. It was the perfect choice for access to the town without needing to use the car. We had a standard ground floor room facing the road. There was a little traffic noise, but not enough to disrupt our sleep, even with the small windows open at night. The room was not large, but we had plenty of space and everything was very clean. We had everything we needed in the room and the fan was very welcome as it was very hot the day we arrived. The bathroom is quite small, but again, very clean. Towels were great and the shower was excellent. A hook on the back of the door and also a small tray in shower would have been useful. Breakfast was lovely, with plenty of choice. There is just enough space for each room to park a car in front, off the road, and other guests were careful to leave enough room between each car as the spaces are quite tight. To walk into town there is a couple of minutes to walk along to the Old Tramway pub and then cut through to the excellent pathway into town which only takes about 10 minutes. We parked our car on arrival on Weds and didn’t use it again until we left on Sat. We had two full days in the town and had enough to do to fill them. We particularly enjoyed the Stratford Nature Reserve; the Guild Chapel (the volunteer in there gave us a very interesting talk about it); the gardens by the river and the butterfly place. A lovely town and Avonpark House was the perfect place to stay!

Stayed here for 3 nights whilst visiting Stratford-upon-Avon. It is perfectly located just outside the city centre being a 10 to 15 minute stroll into Bath along a lovely tree lined path, or along the road. Martin and Maria were perfect hosts and very helpful. Our room was a good size with an extremely comfortable bed, and a lovely view of the rear garden. The room was really quiet too. The bath room was great - lovely hot water and great water pressure. Breakfast was lovely, a good selection and all freshly cooked. Carparking available out the front. All in all, a really perfect spot when visiting Stratford-upon-Avon.

Very clean & exactly as the photos. Stayed 3 nights with friends. Our hosts were lovely, breakfast everything you could want. Would strongly recommend. Gentle stroll into town along the old tramway. Also a good pub a few steps away for a nightcap

Excellent e-mail communication for the booking. Warm welcome on arrival, rooms clean comfortable, nicely decorated as shown in the hotel photographs/ literature. Well stocked with tea/ coffee in room, good amount of drawers/storage. Car parking to the front of hotel. Nice walk along the old tramway into the heart of Stratford. Excellent choices for breakfast, beautifully cooked good sized portions. Stayed for 2 night, had a superior and a deluxe room, no complaints at all….would recommend for a break in Stratford.
