Arden House

There are many advantages: breakfast is absolutely amazing, in addition to the big road of milk bread and fruit coffee, the hotel offers a freshly prepared breakfast. A menu is attached to the picture. I am full of full English Breakfast, full of fullness, but the heat is very high! At the same time, there is a capsule coffee machine on the tea table, which can be brought back to the room to drink. The room is large, there is apple TV available, and the facilities are very good. Disadvantages: Of course, the hotel is a villa change, so there is no elevator inside, there are heavy boxes of their own attention. In addition, although there is a hair dryer, there is no electric kettle, and you need to bring your own. And a little distance from the city center (8 minutes), so buy something to go a little.
The Queens Head

The food is primarily Mexican but we decided to go for the Specials. I'm sure the Mexican meals would have been great because the 'traditional' meal we chose was amazing! Highly recommend the cottage pie (the twist of lemon lifted the whole dish) & the chef came out to check we were enjoying the meal. The room we are staying is clean, crisp and exactly what we needed. We spend many weekends travelling around the UK &, we would happily return here. (My food photo does not do it justice as we'd enjoyed most of it before I took the photo).
Hotel Indigo Stratford Upon Avon

The appearance of the hotel is not good, opposite the new place of Shakespeare. After entering, people feel surprised and the front desk service is very good. This time, the first floor was opened and the balcony door was the garden. It felt great! Breakfast is also good, the restaurant in the hotel is also very good! The bathroom is very big, the downside is that the wet and dry function is not separated.
Mercure Stratford Upon Avon Shakespeare Hotel

The hotel is located in the city center, 15 minutes walk from the railway station with luggage, 5 to 10 minutes walk to Shaon’s former residence, and 2 minutes on a road in Shaweng New Residence. The location is very convenient. The town is very beautiful, the entire city centre is not too big, and the day is enough to turn around. Hotel facilities are old, but very clean, the rooms are medium in size, the bathrooms are extremely clean and large enough. Breakfast is a typical English breakfast, coffee and tea waiters will be handed over to you, and the overall service is very friendly.
The Arden Hotel Stratford - Eden Hotel Collection

We stayed here 3 weeks ago and wanted to bring friends from Scotland to visit Stratford this last weekend, but unfortunately the Arden was fully booked. We came for dinner, as we knew how good it had been when we were guests. All I can say is fabulous! The restaurant & bar staff were all so pleasant & attentive. Alex was one of our waiters and has to be one of the funniest guys I’ve ever met - he read that our group had a sense of humour & made us all giggle. He’s a massive credit. The food was just ace, and I definitely recommend the scallops to start, and the Ribeye. We’ll definitely be back, thanks all 🙂
Macdonald Alveston Manor Hotel

This hotel is well suited to the old phrase ‘fur coat, no knickers’. The main reception rooms are beautiful, but the actual accommodation leaves a lot to be desired. £229 felt like a huge sum of money for a random night in October, in a tatty room, with stains on the walls, chipped paint work that in places was more chip than paint, blackened grout in the bathroom, 1950s metal & single glazed prefab style windows and a door which looked as if it had been bust open at some point (nothing like making your guests feel safe). Also deciding to give the spa a swerve, on the basis that a quick look didn’t inspire much confidence, we were truly disappointed with this hotel & would not recommend it to anyone based on our experience. The stay was supposed to be a treat, but the decor is in dire need of a serious face lift. Interestingly, the person who checked us out did not ask if everything was satisfactory, or if we had enjoyed our stay. It was as if she knew it was a total rip off. For somewhere which oozes polished antique charm in its public rooms, Alveston Manor seemed somewhat hypocritical and grossly over-priced behind the scenes.
