Best Western Erie Inn Suites

The overall condition and cleanliness of the rooms was poor. I heard other people complaining of seeing roaches and actually needing to go to another hotel. The convenience of being close to highway and access to shopping and restaurants was good. I will also say that I have easily over 3,000 nights in hotels over the years. If you are looking for convenience and average. This is your hotel. If you are looking for spotless, you need to choose another hotel.

Disappointed that this hotel had a indoor pool and fitness room which were both closed and out of service Room was overall clean other the the dirty towels laying in the hallway when we arrived and still laying there the next day when we checked out

When I arrived to check in the attendant was sitting at his desk ASLEEP. Walked in at ~3:10pm on Sunday afternoon. I politely said “hey, hey man” to no response. I say it a bit louder. Nothing. I continue to actually yell at him to wake up before eventually pulling out my phone to start taking video. Once I start the video I yell again and he finally wakes up. By this time it’s ~3:20pm. I completely understand dosing off at a desk job. Just the timing was utterly inconvenient and I actually was beginning to get concerned for him. I should not come in to such unprofessional behavior. There are people struggling to even find a job and to be so reckless is annoying. It made my stay feel uncomfortable and quite honestly unsafe. One other thing to note which I found weird was that when I arrived at my door, it was propped open. This added the the uneasy feeling while staying. The room was clean which was appreciated. But quite honestly didn’t feel welcome or safe.

Property was under renovation and we were never told, therefore pool was closed, unable to use a cot in our room, breakfast room was very small and during breakfast a long wait, waffle maker was old or something wrong with it even when we sprayed it my waffle got very stuck. A little crazy but overall ok.

The conditions were pretty poor, I would never stay here again. The lobby is very deceiving compared to the room quality. I was placed in a Queen bed room after booking a King bed room as I was told there was no King bed rooms available. The Queen bed room was very dirty, like it had not been cleaned from a previous stay. When I addressed this with the from desk, they just stared at me for about 10-15 seconds until I asked for another room. When receiving a new room, it was a King Bed room that they supposedly did not have available when I first checked in 10 minutes prior. The King bed room had such a horrible cigarette smoke smell that I had to cake myself in perfume to mask the smell and even that did not work very well. I had to AIR OUT belongings when I got home after my trip because the smoke scent was so bad. In the King Bed room I did not even have a working smoke detector as it was missing from the ceiling. I also had to kill a few gnats that were lingering around the room. Overall, was very disappointed in the quality, tried reaching out to the hotel but the hotel won't help with anything despite the poor conditions. I have a few events in Erie coming up and WOULD NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN.

I am completely satisfied with my stay. The gentleman at the front desk was great - easy peasy check in and check out. My room was very clean and very comfortable. The property is conveniently located to shopping, dining and Erie activities.

Didn’t have a tv channel list, no tv in front room where couch was and didn’t like the carpet in room. But overall a good room for the price
