I have been to Suzhou for a few business trips, and I have changed different hotels every time. The Super 8 I stayed in this time is really good. The room is clean and there is no need to say. The waiter is still enthusiastic. If there is a problem, it can be solved as soon as possible. The price/performance ratio is really good. I will live here in the future.

This hotel has been the best ever in my stay in China . Their management service is out of this world. I forgot my phone in the Didi to the hotel ; the staff and the manager actual went all their way to try and offer assistance to me to resolve this issue 👌.

Very nice environment, moderate price, close to the commercial street, comfortable to stay. Regarding the issue of whether it is noisy or not, I think it is the personal fault of the guests. Some people come back late at night without paying attention and shout. The front desk service is also very good, but there is a little bit. I registered Home Inn without my consent, and asked me for a text verification code, saying that it is used to log in to WIFI

The location of the hotel is okay. It's close to downtown. It feels like it's surrounded by the financial district. It's not far from the subway station. Not far away is Longhu Tianjie, where you can find a lot of food. The hotel room is a family suite. The room is well decorated and feels like home. The furniture is a bit old, but it doesn't matter. Parking is convenient and there are charging stations, which is great. The shortcoming is that the faucet in the bathroom is very big when it is turned on, and water easily rushes to the countertop. It needs to be improved. The front desk service is OK. Due to some temporary situation, I need to check out early. It is already 4 pm. I agree to check out early. Thank you very much. I left in a hurry, so I didn’t take any photos of the room. I’ll add two photos of Suzhou.

Originally stayed at City Convenience, but the soundproofing of City Convenience was really bad, and the breakfast of this hotel was richer, and the price of both hotels was similar, so I changed to this one, which is highly recommended! Awesome! Everything was perfect in my stay with my family. I arrived in the evening and was looking for dining options only to realise they serve dinner in the hotel so it was convenient. However, they mostly had sea food options so you can talk to the waitress to advise on other options available. It's also close to shopping malls where you can get restaurants.
Checking in was fast and they only required to copy my passport together with my family's and voila! The room was spacious enough and they provided toiletries for occupants. You can be provided with an extra key in case you need. The hotel has a nice theme park indoors for kids, quite convenient for families and also have a swimming pool. They also have a luggage storage service and the front desk are bilingual - speaking English. Overall all was well for the one day stay.

It's so weird to check in at lvl 20. lvl 1 under reno and its so dusty. Have to wheel down a super steep 3 steps stairs before getting to lift and need to take lift to lvl 20 for check in. staff did not inform there is two lifts. one lift can directly reach hotel and no need to go back to lobby to access. great that there is washing machine.
great that theres alot of power point and usb/typec point i didnt even need to plug my multiplug.
cons: No aircon and the air was warm when we turn on the airconditioning. open the window for colder air to come in room.
did not like that the toilet lights made the ppl inside visible to see from outside. worse is that if you are in the toilet, if you are at the shower next you can see the person sitting as the light shines the make it visible. bad design.

The hotel is located in the Auto Parts City near Yungu, Suzhou, and is relatively close to the Huqiu Wedding City. I stayed here because I had to work nearby. The hotel's environment, settings, services, and hygiene are all very good. Parking is also very convenient and free, and there are charging stations. The price/performance ratio is high, and the free washing machine is very convenient. I am very satisfied. I recommend staying here. It is very good. I give it a five-point rating! !

Everything in the room is so exquisite, from furniture to decoration, it gives people a strong sense of simplicity. In addition, the service of the B&B is also very thoughtful, and the staff are very warm and friendly, making people feel at home. Staying here for a night is really unforgettable. I highly recommend this B&B, and I believe that everyone who comes here will leave with good memories.

GGuest UserThe new hotel is close to Vientiane Plaza, just across the road. The parking is very convenient. There is a ground and a ba*****t. The sanitation of the guest rooms is very good. The service attitude at the front desk is also very good, and they will deal with the needs of the guests in a timely manner. Takeaway It was delivered by a robot, it was a great experience, and I will choose this hotel in the future

I hope we can inform you earlier next time so that guests can have more choices.
After arriving at the hotel, the lady at the front desk was very nice and upgraded the room type for free. Later, the housekeeper lady would also care and remind me from time to time.
It slightly makes up for the regret of not being able to swim.
The hotel is about 15 minutes away from Tongli. No tickets are required in Tongli after 17:00, but there are no shops open after 17:00. It takes about 30 minutes by car to Suzhou city
The hotel environment is quite good. The indoor and outdoor amusement park in the second phase is free. The ones in the resort are outsourced and charge a fee. There is table tennis but only one table. There is a fee for billiards but there is only one table.
The hotel has small animals for feeding, including white geese, squirrels, chickens, pigeons, ducks, and dogs.

RRobsterNot knowing Suzhou at all, I thought I had chosen a hotel to suit my needs for exploring the history whilst still being near the modern. This hotel is ideal for both. With a metro station (line 3) Shajinqiao, within a 10 minute walk, literally, just round the corner, and a taxi ride to either end of where I wanted to be costing me under 30RMB, this was an absolute gem of a find.
On arrival, the staff were very good and extremely helpful. I was checked in without any fuss, with the usual pandemic checks, travel codes, health codes and I showed both 48hr and 24hr covid tests.
The room was cosy, with excellent air-conditioning, a very comfortable bed and very clean. The toilet was intelligent, electronic and quite a novelty. It even warmed my posterior whilst sitting on it!
The hotel provides a kettle and 2 free bottles of water daily though there may at one time have been a mini fridge, it was not there on this visit. Breakfast is served at reasonable times with the last orders being done 10:30am. (11 am at weekends). It is a decent spread, predominantly Chinese food, rice, vegetables, meats with cooked-to-order eggs, porridge (Chinese rice style) and a cold buffet. There are delicious pastries, toast and fruit. Tea and coffee are available along with a varied selection of fruit juices. The restaurant is airy, bright and clean. Plenty of seating is available.
Room lighting was bright and cheerful but could be set to 'mood' which dimmed and made for a more intimate atmosphere.
On Didi App, the hotel does not come under Atour Hotel. You will need to search for Yi He Cha Can Yin Guan Li You Xian Gong Si.
At the time of writing, Suzhou was low risk. However, the recommendation was for Suzhou citizens not to travel and if they had to, to show a 48hr covid test. I had a bit of trouble with getting the app to work and thanks very much, eternal gratitude, to the wonderfully patient and supportive reception staff who all contributed, made phone calls and tried their best to get the app to work. Eventually, we succeeded. That is service and that was fantastic.

In the evening, you can go to Pingjiang Road to eat snacks and watch the night view. If the road conditions are extremely congested, make travel plans in advance. The hotel gave me a small gift when I checked in🎁The bed was very comfortable and there was coffee and tea in the front lobby. 2 bottles of mineral water were given as a gift when checking out, thank you to the beautiful woman at the front desk🌹

YYTZ23We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with our 10 month old during Golden Week.
Pros:
- Hotel is self-contained and there is no need to leave the hotel. There are large and well-maintained grounds for our daily walks with baby, including museums and traditional pagodas dotted throughout the property. There is a chinese, western (steak, pizza) and japanese (teppanyaki) restaurant within the hotel. There is also a kids play room and swimming pool, along with some other kid friendly activities like rabbit feeding and games on the lawn.
- The hotel is right next to the lake and is quite beautiful. It's very relaxing to stroll along the lake.
- There is an ancient town about 15 minutes walk from the hotel's main lobby. There is a free hotel shuttle to and from the ancient town too.
- Staff are generally friendly and helpful
- Large, family-friendly rooms are available. We stayed in a lake view suite, which was just right for us and our baby.
- Hotel is affordable by international standards
- Hotel is less than 2 hours drive from Shanghai, where we live
- We particularly enjoyed the teppenyaki restaurant where you can get a private room and a private chef to cook your meals
- Despite it being Golden Week, we didn't feel that the hotel was too crowded. Perhaps because the hotel has large grounds.
Cons
- The baby cot given to us had an extremely thin and uncomfortable mattress. To compensate, we were given a comforter to pad the mattress. However, this is unsafe for younger babies, who should sleep on a firm surface.
- The property and facilities are a bit dated
- There were very loud weddings on the lawn facing the lake each day that we were at the hotel. The loud music and emceeing disturbed the peaceful ambience of the place, and also disrupted baby's morning and afternoon naps. For families with children who still need to nap in the day, it may be better to stay in a quieter garden view room instead of a room facing the lake.

GGuest UserThere were a few ants in the first room we booked, but after a few screams and a phonecall we were quickly moved to another ant-free room. The staff were so helpful, kind and willing to communicate in English to the best of their ability. They made plenty of gestures with bowls of fruit, fragrant sacks and even a personal delivery of the food menu when we couldn't find the English menu on the TV. Their frequent arrivals had us jumping in our robes to grab the door every so often, but each time we were grateful to receive such thoughtful snacks and smells. Lovely place. Would visit again.

It is worth praising. The style is quite unique. The serviced apar**ent is modern and simple. The security is very high. You need to swipe your card. 24-hour security. The location is excellent. There are shopping malls behind the Jinji Lake Scenic Area. The transportation is very convenient. The hygiene is also very clean. The bed is very comfortable. I will bring my family to play and stay here next time.

Qqueen_kooIf you’re looking for a perfect 4 star venue in the city centre then look no further! This place is a good bargain all round the year and even in peak seasons. I am going to split my review into sections so bare with me.
1) Rooms: The outdated the rooms need a serious paint jobs and the couch is quite “scratchy” material wise. Despite the interior eye sore, the flats are quite cosy with everything you need. Scenery wise , those who aren’t afraid of heights request the balcony rooms ! Maybe they don’t have the views of the shanghai centre shopping mall but the evening breeze did put me to sleep like a baby! Also the television was well packed with nostalgic movies , I really enjoyed the entertainment. Although the TV volume doesn’t go too loud , I guess it’s good respect to the neighbors some of who are long term tenants.
2) Service: Impeccable. The people here, although clearly overworked are so nice! The housekeepers are all so wonderful ! They were the ones who let me come back to a clean flat everyday , really it was a piece of home with a whole lot of help! For shampoos and conditioners and shower gel you would need to let the front desk know you need it, so please keep that in mind!
3) Breakfast: Just enough for survival , I’m quite particular about my tastes in food where the buffet options were too less and unfortunately not too tasty. But I was able to survive…I really hope they can fix this though cause the place although cheaper than others isn’t exactly cheap as well. If you want a good breakfast spread , you will be left heavily disappointed.
There’s a lot of cost cutting the hotel group has done and it’s obvious…I hope Ascott takes this into consideration cause it’s not good to have better hotels around the world but keep smaller cities forgotten and tightly budgeted!!
Suzhou is quite expensive than other cities due to the constant influx of tourists.
I don’t usually write much for my reviews but In this case I seem to care after seeing the overworked hotel staff and the poor conditions around them.
Come on Ascott do better. I initially was tempted to give a 3/5 review stars but it’s the people that pushed it up.
