Tokyo Hotels with Pools

I personally feel that the Capitol Hotel Tokyu offers the best value for money among Tokyo's luxury hotels. Safety is, of course, a given, located in the very heart of the government district. Getting around is incredibly convenient, with direct access to Tameike-sanno Station. This station is rarely crowded, making commuting easy and stress-free. For shopping, you can take the Ginza Line directly to Mitsukoshimae Station, home to the Mitsukoshi Nihombashi main store, where tax refunds are quick due to fewer crowds. A taxi to Shinjuku Isetan costs around 2500 JPY. There's also a convenience store in the underground passage directly connected to the subway, though please note it's not open 24 hours. I highly recommend the Japanese breakfast, which is served by the Japanese restaurant Suiren. The quality is exceptional and very satisfying, but you need to order before 10:00 AM. Overall, whether you're in Japan for business, shopping, or suburban sightseeing, this hotel is extremely convenient, and the dining quality is excellent. You can even book a table directly at the restaurant to entertain clients or friends.

After the final exams, I took my kids for a few days of vacation. The first part of our trip involved two exhausting days at two Disney parks, so arriving at this hotel felt like salvation. Communication was seamless, even though my English isn't great, the staff were incredibly patient and attentive. Since we wanted to sleep in, we opted for in-room service after waking up. Ordering was super easy, and all the hot food was delivered in insulated containers. My kids absolutely loved it, so much so that they kept asking to order room service after our shopping sprees later on! 😂 _The delivery staff were very professional; they even took off their shoes before entering the room. The room's decor and furnishings were all solid wood, with no strange odors, which made us feel very safe. Check-out was smooth as well, with a Mandarin-speaking staff member proactively assisting us. The location is excellent; it's easy to hail a cab right downstairs. I'll definitely bring my family back here again.

Janu, rather than feeling like a younger, secondary brand of Aman, feels more like a modern European luxury private residence tucked away in Azabudai. There isn't a grand, ceremonial hotel entrance in the traditional sense. The entrance is either through a garage or directly connected to the shopping mall, creating a hidden sense of tranquility. The entire hotel, from the public areas and wellness center to the rooms, exhibits a very consistent design. Even the basic room types don't feel like 'downgraded' versions; the details and finish are impeccable. The amenities are also very refined and thoughtfully designed, not just a simple collection of expensive brands. The flow design is also excellent. Guests, restaurant and lounge visitors having afternoon tea, and service staff are largely kept separate. I had seen complaints on Google Maps reviews about noisy groups having 'girls' gatherings, but during my stay, the guest areas had significantly improved in this regard. The presence of the service staff is also very subtle. You rarely see them bustling through the hallways, yet the staff-to-guest ratio is incredibly generous. The internal pathways must be very well-designed, allowing them to reach all areas of the hotel quickly, ensuring consistently high service efficiency. The Mini Bar was replenished promptly, and the ice bucket was replaced during both cleaning and turn-down service. When I arrived early, the hotel calmly arranged my room in advance, without that rigid 'no room before 3 PM' feeling. The one-touch concierge in the room was also very effective, pretty much granting every request with quick response times. The overall service isn't overtly warm or effusive, but it's very reliable and never intrusive. Breakfast offered a wide selection, and there was absolutely no waiting. During my stay, I was always seated at a table directly facing Tokyo Tower, which was a fantastic experience. And most importantly, Janu Tokyo currently offers incredible value for money. For a similar price, I believe it easily surpasses the two Four Seasons hotels in Tokyo. Considering the hardware, design, service, and actual stay experience, it can absolutely contend with Bulgari for the second-best luxury hotel spot in Tokyo.

Right by Odaiba Station, making transportation, shopping, and dining very convenient. The room was spacious with a great view; you could see the monorail from the window, but there was virtually no noise. The main downside was the outdated bathroom, which lacked a separate shower and toilet. Also, some of the staff's service quality needs improvement. I saw an impressive advertisement for the buffet and wanted to try it. When I went to the restaurant, it was empty, so I went back to the lobby to ask a staff member. They simply told me the restaurant was on the first floor. Thinking I'd gone to the wrong place, I checked again. I asked another staff member, and got a similar vague answer, completely ignoring my question about why the restaurant wasn't open. Finally, I asked a female attendant by the elevator, and only then found out that the first-floor restaurant isn't open for dinner every night. It makes you wonder what the other staff members were doing...

There are many hotels in Tokyo's Asakusa area, and this one is right by the subway station, within walking distance to Senso-ji Temple. I chose this hotel because it's generally a higher-end option, but I didn't opt for the best floor or view since I didn't want to spend extra money. On the bright side, I could see Senso-ji Temple and the distant Skytree. The photos with the Skytree were taken while dining at the hotel's upstairs restaurant; the others were taken from my room. It was my first time experiencing how truly small Japanese hotel rooms can be. The service was quite attentive. When leaving, I asked an English-speaking staff member to help explain the address to the taxi driver. My takeaway is that I could have booked a better room for the same price, but I procrastinated, and by then, all the prices had gone up, so I didn't want to spend even more.

We booked Park Hyatt very last minute due to issue with our original hotel that we booked in Tokyo. We travelled with a 3 & 4 years old and the hotel was amazing. The playground across the hotel is a big plus. From the moment we arrived the staff made us feel very welcome and the process was very seamlessly. We left the first hotel fairly early and knew we couldn't get into the room but our plan was to go through Shinjuku and knew we wouldn't be back until later that day. The hotel lobby is on the 41st floor, you can see the entire city view and at night the sight is amazing. The hotel location is about a 15min walk to Shinjuku station which is not bad and there is a shuttle that runs every 30min as well. Concierge was very helpful with everything during our stay. Breakfast service was professional and efficient. The staff were very friendly with kids and not snobbish at all. The hotel is an iconic place, most of the time we took a taxi or delivery they know the hotel by name. I highly recommend anyone that would like to pamper themselves in Tokyo. The hotel is a bit dated by the upkeep of the hotel is very good. Only thing that was a bit annoying was the light switches since it's not modern you can't control some lights individually.

This was my very first visit to Tokyo, and staying at Dai-ichi Hotel Tokyo was an absolute privilege. From the front lobby to room service and the Club Lounge, I was deeply moved by the incredible hospitality and kindness of every single staff member. Coming to Tokyo without knowing much about the city, I couldn't have picked a better location. It provided seamless access to all the places I wanted to visit, including Ginza, Tokyo Station, the Imperial Palace, Azabudai Hills, and Shibuya. On top of that, the vibrant izakayas surrounding the hotel were so inviting that I wished I could visit them all. Without a doubt, I will choose this hotel again for my next trip to Tokyo. I stayed at Hotel 21 east . From the 2nd August to the 6th August with my two boys 14 and 16 years old . I must say this Hotel has double standards and can be very expensive which can not understand . I,ll explain ,My children 14 and 16 years are classed as adults in this hotel so breakfast and lunch full payment . The pool which is in the pictures from the brochure is extra to use. £35 extra per person this cost £105.00 pounds 10 am till 5.00 pm and then you would have to pay again. if you wanted to go for an evening swim . Which I think is a RIP OFF ! . The Gym which is also an extra payment,At the same hotel has a different rule about age.Your not aloud to use the gym if under 18 years old because the hotel gym classes you as a child if your under 18 . I can,t even escort my boys in the gym .To allow them to have a work out. .I spoke to reception just a straight NO back . This was extremely frustrating I asked to speak to another manager and was told one was available . A small coffee cost £8 Pound in the lobby. Cleaning didn't make the room on the last night . There,s a demolition site opposite the hotel drilling through out the day this should have been in the information before booking . There was night road works which started at 9 pm and went on till 6 am in the morning drilling through the night . I work for an airline and travel for work .Have never had this poor customer service before . I won,t be returning to this hotel and of your going to book this hotel read the small print very carefully . Yours Mike Taylor .

The convenient location has been mentioned before, so I won't repeat it. The kitchen, living room, and tatami room all face the Imperial Palace, offering a rare green view. The only downside is that directly below the windows, about two or three floors down, there seems to be a concentrated area for the building's central air conditioning units or other facilities. The continuous low-frequency noise is quite noticeable at night and directly affects the tatami room, which isn't ideal for light sleepers.

This hotel offers direct access to the Yurikamome Line's Odaiba Station from its second floor, and is within walking distance of the life-sized Gundam statue and Odaiba Marine Park. A complimentary shuttle bus to Disneyland is provided, and Haneda Airport is just a 20-minute drive away, making transportation highly convenient. All room types feature private balconies, with ocean view rooms directly facing the Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Bay's night skyline. The room sizes significantly exceed those of similarly priced hotels in central Tokyo. For families with children, amenities for kids are proactively provided upon check-in, ensuring excellent comfort during your stay. The facilities are well-maintained, and both Chinese and English services are seamless. There's a complimentary gym and multiple restaurants on-site. The drawbacks include the hotel's age and the fact that the pool requires an additional fee. It's also a bit further from the central city shopping districts. Overall, this hotel is ideal for guests who prioritize exploring Odaiba, appreciate scenic views and spacious accommodations. High-floor ocean view rooms are highly recommended.
