No Wi-Fi connection in the hotel rooms. Ants on the balcony and a big lizard in the bushes outside. Very poor and quick cleaning, they forgot to give us beach towels. Not worth the money.

A relatively small, first-class resort that is somewhat overshadowed by large resorts such as Sands or X 10. This is completely unjustified, because everything is perfect here: a location like in the rainforest, a particularly beautiful beach, very well-kept accommodations. We had a rendezvous villa right by the sea, the only negative being the lack of seating in the room. Instead, there was a large terrace with loungers. Speaking of loungers: many of the beach chairs were already covered with towels early in the morning - a bad habit that is found almost everywhere. The breakfast was good and plentiful. We had booked half board and thus had the opportunity to enjoy a five-course meal of the highest quality every evening in the most beautiful beach location. In theory, just breakfast would have been enough, because the bar right next door also served good, inexpensive food. All in all, the Wanaburee is a top address - still cheap, but worth every penny.

Beautiful complex with a jungle feel, but with room for improvement. WiFi: Unfortunately, WiFi is quite bad and connection is constantly interrupted or has problems. It's best to buy a tourist SIM at the airport. Costs around €18 with unlimited 5G for 15 days (dtac). We had a Manor room. Unfortunately, the air conditioning didn't cool properly, and even three attempts by the technician didn't bring any improvement. So it was quite warm at night. It wasn't nice to start our beach vacation having to wait 2.5 hours here until the technician was finished. We were offered a change to 2 other Manors, but the air conditioning didn't cool any better there either. The rooms are very thin due to the connecting door, which is particularly unpleasant with louder neighbors (unfortunately we stayed there for 3 nights). Overall, the room was clean and tidy, but a bit dated. The shower head is screwed on tightly like in a swimming pool, which is no longer up to date. (Rain shower or at least hand shower would be nice as standard.) Late checkout for 4 hours despite all the inconveniences 2000 THB/50€... much too expensive. Especially since 3 villas were empty. The problems mentioned were addressed, but unfortunately no solutions were really available. We would have expected at least a small compensation for the inconvenience. Overall, we had the feeling that we were "disturbing" with our request.Pool on the beach is more frequented by children and families. Sunbeds on the beach were mostly free, although the shaded sunbeds were usually taken first. The pool next to the lagoon is adults only and quite quiet, beautifully embedded in the complex.Very nice beach and great sunsets. Not too busy. Breakfast very good and a large selection. Bar and evening restaurant are nice on the beach, but we didn't use them because of the higher prices. Tip: Andalay bar to the left of the beach or particularly good: Family Bar right next to the hotel entrance! We would rent a scooter again. (200 Baht a day). We explored a lot with it, including Takua Pa Old Town, a golden Wat (Wat Khongkha Phimut - no tourists), Ban Dok Daeng monastery, the big Buddha of Khao Lak and much more.

Price/performance ratio is not right here. Small does not mean fine. We will remember the hotel where we had to pay for late checkout for the first time. Location & surroundings Sun, beach, sea. Minus point for the fact that nobody cleans the beach area of plastic waste at low tide. Room We had Estate 6 Deluxe. We were looking for the Deluxe for 10 days. Well, if you get sick here and have to stay in your room, you're in trouble. Wifi not available in the room. TV not a single German channel. Bedside tables (see photo) 1 m from the bed. Huh? It looks completely different in the glossy photos. The highlight was our bathroom faucet (see photo). The tiler had drilled the wrong holes. The shower head couldn't be hung up either. Air conditioning three levels. Old and, above all, loud. The bathroom mirror hadn't been cleaned for a long time. When it fogged up, the declarations of love from the previous guests were legible. Service We were really looking forward to this. But here with the handbrake on. "Staff speaks the following languages: English" For me, service means that the staff speaks English. After 10 days of vacation, I spoke more Thai than they did English. There is also no changing room or shower for washing feet on the beach. Beach towels are only changed after calling reception. For the last night, the manager offered us a room in a pool. We declined because we didn't want to repack our things for one night. The most cheeky thing came at the late check-out. We were charged 3,000 Baht for four hours. That's enough of a comment on the service in this hotel.

Wonderful jungle feeling right on the beach. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. No mass tourism, great massages, clean beach. The staff leaves nothing to be desired. Just let your mind wander! Some of the rooms are a bit dated, but they leave nothing to be desired. They are functionally furnished and clean. We opted for a Rendez-vous Beach Villa and would do it again ;o)

The best relaxing area ever! The best service ever experienced. Just the best. Leaving here a piece of our hearts. Wild nature is at arm’s length. Varans, big and small, squirrels, chipmunks, birds with long tails and what not. Beautiful sandy beach with huge stones on it (not inside). Warm seawater. Tender waves. Good restaurant on the beach, good and quick service, large variety of food and drinks at moderate prices. 2 small but beautiful pools designed as a part of the jungle. Very few guests. Actually you see other guests only on the beach and while taking meals. Everything is really good. Worth visiting. Greetings from Russia.
