Villa Zagara Garden Spectacular Sea View in Taormina

The location is very good, you can directly see the sea from the balcony. The owner's son is very enthusiastic and provides very high-quality services.

Wonderful location. Amazing view. Very convenient to the historic center. Elegant and full of typical Sicilian charm. The villa has a fantastic swimming pool and small pools scattered around the garden terrace. Charming patio and a perfect terrace for an aperitif break.

I paid €200 including €6 tax for one night only. ..ok if we're talking about Exclusive stuff we know that the prices are high. but excuse me, unfortunately I noticed more defects and clarity in the villa... than anything else. First of all there is no clarity, when I booked the room with a private hydromassage tub (I find out when I arrive on site that it is not heated) so in my opinion it was right to notify me in time or at least write it on the site, so that the customer can opt for other choices (in fact the the water was very cold). Second lack of clarity, the owner briefly explains to me in words the functionality of the apartment from the outside of the house (because the floor was still a little wet from the cleaning carried out) and how she wanted to demonstrate... in the end the defects came out like mushrooms, cleaning not done well and to the end, faulty shower arm, 2 unusable coffee machines (perhaps a license was needed), some light sockets in my opinion (to be made safe) and many other details to be taken care of which I won't mention otherwise we'll exaggerate! But last but not least….., at 8.00pm I realize that the tub has a hydromassage that doesn't start (in addition to being very cold) and to think that I had booked specifically for this to give a birthday surprise to my partner (obviously !) anyway I inform the owner of the defect, she replies..., I try to get the maintenance man and fix it, moral: no one came to fix anything, no one apologized for anything, no one contacted me, and I with my partner at the in the end we couldn't even use the famous hot tub!!! P.S. I hope this review is a good adrenaline boost for the managers of Villa Zagara so that they can solve the many and various problems and finally give their customers what they spend for! I rented this villa for a few days at the end of July. Welcomed by the owner's son, we quickly took a tour of this large villa without noting any details. After a long trip due to flights being changed at the last minute, this tour was quick. but enough to explain to us that there was a problem with the heated jacuzzi and that it was better not to use it, too bad. The 2nd day we could not use the hotplates nor the dishwasher nor my shower which had no no hot water nor my air conditioning which was very noisy nor the toilet whose tap did not work but the owner's daughter quickly helped us out except for the dishwasher which was also faulty, the hot water was supposedly a problem from the town hall which was blocking, except that of the 7 rooms 3 had water and 4 did not, 5 toilets / 7 you just had to lift the plate to pull the rope, But at the price paid for a "luxury" villa, we would have preferred to shower with hot water, be able to use a toilet that works and sleep in a cool place, Beautiful view of the ocean but passage of a cable car 30 m from the terraces with many tourists taking photos of us each time, Helicopter runway 100m for emergencies so regular ambulances pass with flashing lights and siren 3m from the villa, Not very glamorous. Beautiful terrace with beautiful swimming pool provided that you like chlorine because for me just one swim and my tan was gone and my eyes had turned red for the day, but even with this chlorine the water line was black, a little wipe with a sponge to scrub would have been welcome, 2 days after my return home, the owner contacted me via the agency to tell me that a part was defective on one of the pools and sent me a quote, Supply 50 euros, installation and travel 1h 350 euros and everything else is OK. First of all, it's expensive per hour! But what compensation for me who did not have hot water, nor dishwasher nor WC nor air conditioning. For the location, the city center is 300 m away but it will take you 25 minutes to get there because of a lot of stairs so provide good shoes and spare clothes because you will be in total perspiration, the same goes for going to the beach 15 minutes to get there easily but 30 minutes very sporty to return because there are a lot of markets or the cable car to realize that all their customers see everything what is happening in the villa

We chose Villa Zagarda Garden because of its location and the beautiful pictures on the internet. The location in Taormina is fine - the place is on the mountain and so you have to accept that you have to climb stairs to get to the center. The view of the bay is outstanding and the sunrise in the morning was great! Unfortunately, the accommodation is getting old. A lot of things are in need of renovation: broken door and hardly any light in the bathroom, defective light switches and sockets and damp walls with mold. Our previous guests' rubbish was still in the bin in the kitchen. We left early and were happy that we were able to find a fair solution with Massimo.
