I stayed in this beautiful resort which is right by the beach. One can get the best of the beach view sitting in their rooms. Mr. Anoop was so kind enough a person who did all arrangements for us there. I met the GM there who was so nice in guiding us about places to see around. The most interesting part of this place is their southindian thali meal that they serve during lunch. It was much more than awesome. A great place for someone to be there to relax and go stress free. I will defenitely recommend this place to all my friends and relatives.

The location is good and the hotel is just fine. Need some renovation around the path leading to beach. ***y opt for this location for ease of access to beaches, if that is not maintained it will lead to disappointment. The SPA is not per the expectation and the maintenance of the spa is very bad. Food is above average. The buffet breakfast is fine but lacks variety for those staying longer. Overall it was a good experience. The attender at the pool Mr. Babu is very good, he should be awarded for his fine service. Overall the hotel staff are polite and well ***nered and hear to our concerns.

Loved the stay. The balcony was neat, clean, proper sunlight and shed, and view. Bathroom was sanitised, proper soap clean towels bedsheets were provided. Extra bed also was provided with bed and not just a mattress, toilet paper rolls too. Everything was good. A must try stay option.

Very good location, only 5 mins away from the main cliff. Clean rooms, and bathroom was decently maintained. There are not a lot of amenities considering that it's a homestay, so bring those items with you. But basic soap and shampoo was available. A kettle was there ***** with tea bags, etc. Breakfast was fine, for the price we paid. The caretaker jishu was available throughout our stay for any help. Extra bed was not available, but an extra mattress was given upon request. Don't expect an exquisite customer service because there are no trained hotel staff here. Only one caretaker is available for the full property. The main usp has to the proximity to the beach.

I stayed at Akhil Beach Resort for 12 days from the 12th January this year I did ask for discount as I was staying for a long period of time of which they did agree Firstly I was totally surprised that they needed full payment on day one I have never experienced this on booking com ever I therefore advised I would pay a deposit only and settle when I depart They had no choice as I would have left if they didn't let me I was quite happy with my room BUT there were a few times that I needed something but no-one was around After a few days of being there I came back to my room and found so many insects everywhere and felt so very uncomfortable as I couldn't sleep at all This was really late at night I knew I should have phoned reception or someone but it was too late at night I therefore told them in the morning They cleaned my room but could not explain how the insects got in my room I really felt miserable about this They did tell me it wouldn't happen again.... Which it did The Manager-Vikesh did say to me then if I wanted to change my room Which in retrospect I should have but didn't need the upheaval Then it happened again I went absolutely angry At past midnight they moved me to another room which made me really misersble I then decided to leave that day I decided not to pay my last night because of the insect issue So on the last day the 27th January I paid my balance by credit card but their machine said it did not go through......but on my bank I checked immediately of which was PENDING therefore there was no way I was going to put it through again So I left I had many text messages from the Manager-Vikesh that day Which stressed and upset me immensely He threatened that if I didn't go back before 5pm that day he would report me to immigration and make sure my passport is blocked I was totally disgusted the way he told me this and was disrespectful with me I would never dream of doing anything like this to anyone I therefore went back and paid it again UNFORTUNATELY I was totally unhappy doing this but felt I had to I checked my bank constantly to see if the original payment went through and actually telephoned my bank to see what has happened which cost me 3000 rupees My bank eventually confirmed on the 4th February that Akhil Resort did take my payment twice Then Vikesh asked for confirmation of this Which I couldn't do a screenshot as my banks security would not allow me to I therefore immediately contacted Vikesh to advise him of this and requested he urgently paid me back the money he owed me I gave him everything he wanted for this My bank account details IBAN SWIFT and everything to go with it BUT IT NEVER HAPPENED he kept saying the MD has to sign it off To me this is a standard action in accounts As I have worked in accounts all my life but for Vikesh to keep saying Yes it is going to be transferred and it wasn't This totally made me so angry and very very stressed After some days I actually gave him my friends Indian bank
