Sotetsu Fresa Inn Hotels in Tokyo

Conveniently located next to higashi shinjuku station with access to two train lines. Usual compact japanese room with complete amenities, comfy bed, good water pressure and bidet. Direct train access going to Yokohama, Kamakura and Kawagoe.

This is a brand new hotel. I stayed in a standard twin room, which at 26.5 square meters, is quite spacious for a Japanese hotel. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the shower was particularly comfortable. To get here, exit JR Yokohama Station from the North-West Exit. Take the elevator on your right up to the pedestrian bridge, walk about 30 meters, then take another elevator up one more level. Walk about 10 meters forward, and the entrance is on your left. Staying near Yokohama Station is great because it's a bustling commercial area with large department stores like Takashimaya and SOGO, and plenty of dining options. More importantly, transportation is incredibly convenient. You can take the JR Keikyu Line directly from Haneda Airport, and you'll arrive at Yokohama Station in just 20 minutes. The bus terminal is located next to Sogo Department Store at the East Exit of Yokohama Station, offering many bus routes for getting around. The Sankei-en Garden in Yokohama is breathtaking; you can reach it by taking a municipal bus (the green bus) from Exit 2 here. All in all, if you're visiting Yokohama, choosing this hotel is definitely worth it. I hope this information is helpful for independent travelers.

Nice and clean standard sized room for business hotel. Overall is what I expected from standard Japanese hotel with one safety concern of the vending machine/washing machine room. Around 22:00, I found people partying in the room and drinking alcohols sitting on the floor, they are not loud but the room is quite small which make it uncomfortable for those who actually go there to the vending machine or to wash their clothes. I wish hotel staff would regular check the room to prevent the room's misuse and make it comfortable for other guests. Upsides is the hotel is strategic location to reach the Haneda airport as it's only 800m away to Tokyo Monorail station which provides direct train to the airport. Other stations are Tokyo Metro Daimon station and JR Hamamatsuchō station which is 300m and 600m away, respectively.

During the May Day holiday, I stayed at Sotetsu Fresa Inn Nihonbashi-Ningyocho for my Tokyo trip. Every time I visit Tokyo, I stay in Ningyocho because of its convenient access and abundant food options. Sotetsu Fresa Inn hotels are always clean, and the front desk staff are welcoming, making it an ideal hotel for visiting Tokyo.

This hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Kinshicho Station, accessible from both the North and South exits. You can actually see the Tokyo Skytree from two different intersections, each offering a unique view. The room was a bit small, but perfectly fine for one person and their belongings. My window faced a residential building across the street and couldn't be opened, but the soundproofing was generally good. There was a movable small table, which was handy. Check-out is at 11 AM. A nice touch at Sotetsu hotels is that they provide free bath salts in the lobby on the first floor.

Location and self service are about the only things good about the hotel. Location is in the quieter area of ginza with the popular area not too far. The biggest complaints are the size and the electricity outlets. The room is similar to a cruise boat room and you can’t fully open a medium size luggage. The electricity outlet placement and setup is also inconvenient if you have a larger adapter because it won’t fit given the size of the adapter. The other complaint is the bathroom often had a bad odor, maybe from other rooms sharing the same sewage. Given the price of the hotel, I might suggest staying elsewhere.

Love the location is the Toyocho metro exits just in front of the hotel. There are also many restaurants nearby. My favourite being the family restaurant downstairs - Sangarita. There is also a McD within 50 m. Convenience stores are all within walking distance. Only less than 20 min train ride to Tokyo Station. Not forgetting easy check in and check out via the self service kiosk, self service amenities at lobby, and there is also laundry machines provided. Breakfast choices were decent and available from 6.30 to 11am, at the Pronto restaurant downstairs. Room size is sufficient for me alone, very comfortable and quiet stay.

This is a great hotel! They have staff at the front desk who speak Chinese, which was a huge plus. The location is fantastic, with several subway lines nearby making it super convenient. You can take the Asakusa line directly to both Haneda and Narita airports, and it's only three or four stops to Ginza. Tokyo Tower and Shiba Park are also within easy walking distance. Getting to Shibuya takes less than 30 minutes by subway. The hotel itself is quite new, and the rooms are clean and tidy. The bedding is comfortable, and it's very quiet thanks to good soundproofing. They provide a variety of disposable toiletries, even including toner and lotion. On the first floor, there's a water dispenser, coffee, and tea available. They also have free self-service luggage lockers (you need to use a transit card to lock and unlock them). The hotel is located down a small alley, but it's not a long walk at all. There are tons of restaurants on the main street just outside the hotel, as well as convenience stores like McDonald's, Lawson, and 7-Eleven. About 200 meters away, there's a Sugi drug store that also has Chinese-speaking staff. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Tokyo!

We stayed in Sotetsu Freza inn for 5 nights. In a queen-bed room with 12squares space. Room is small. It’s understandable for Tokyo where land is premium. Has small window which can be opened about hand width for fresh air. No view other than building couple of feet away. However it’s well designed with everything you needed. Bathroom is a foot step up so be careful getting in and out. Basic amenities are ample, self collection from lobby in-front of reception. Individually controlled air conditioning which I was very pleased about. Coin laundry 2 in one washer and dryer. Simple breakfast for ¥600 is sufficient to get your day started. Lunch and snacks are also available for purchase from the same cafe till 2pm. Plenty of eateries nearby. Combines are everywhere. Bank close by. Train station 100meters away. 2 stops to Ginza or walk for 35mins. Tokyo station is walkable from hotel. I have rebooked for another five nights after a couple of days break visiting other parts of Tokyo. Weather is perfect spring time. With occasional rain.

The room I booked was a bit small (comfortable for one person, but a couple might need to 'cultivate their relationship' a bit more to fit in! 🤣). **Surroundings:** A 12-minute walk 🚶‍♂️➡️ to Ginza (popular shopping area). A 30-minute bullet train 🚅 ride to Senso-ji Temple (popular attraction). A 37-minute bullet train 🚅 ride to Shibuya (popular attraction). **Food Recommendations ⭐⭐⭐** * GINZA TONKATSU SAITO: A 17-minute bullet train 🚅 ride away (the fried pork cutlet 🥩 is super juicy, highly recommend!). Around 4000 JPY per person. * UNAGI YOSHIKAWA SHIBUYA BRANCH: Great to try when you're in Shibuya. Around 2500-3000 JPY per person. * Natural Taiyaki at Senso-ji Temple.
