Wonderful hotel where even the smallest details have been well thought through. I don't usually write long reviews but I have so many good things to say about this hotel. We stayed here twice during our honeymoon in Japan, for two nights at the start of the trip and three nights at the end. The two rooms we had were both fantastic with amazing views over the Imperial gardens. Every member of staff was kind and friendly, they greeted the guests in such a genuine and warm manner. Breakfast was delicious - we enjoyed the buffet, and the Japanese style breakfast. They serve lots of different teas, coffees, and juices. We had a few shots of the very healthy green juice which was surprisingly tasty! The bar is very chic and it has a long cocktail list. It has a very glamorous aesthetic, with glossy floors and cute tables to enjoy a drink. We had dinner on the terrace on our last night; the food was fabulous. We thought it was quite reasonably priced (we're used to London prices!) for the set menus, with wine pairings. It was well worth the price. The wine is great and we really enjoyed chatting to the sommelier about his speciality, Californian wines. The rooms have lots of storage, and we had two TVs (one in the bedroom, one in the bathroom). We had a bath, and a separate shower cubicle. The loos feature classic Japanese high tech which is quite interesting. We were given pyjamas, slippers, and dressing gowns in our rooms. There were lovely toileteries including a whole set of facial cleansers, toners, and moisturisers, as well as bath oils and salts. We even got some steam eye masks which were so luxurious. They have toothbrushes in case you have forgotten your own! The hotel has easy access to the underground system, and you can walk to the main Tokyo station in around 10 minutes. It's close to lots of shopping centres with cafes and restaurants. There's also a beautiful Starbucks next door - I'd definitely recommend trying the Japanese Starbucks! It's really different from the UK and has some great treats. The concierges are helpful and knowledgable. They booked me in for a wash and blow dry (reasonably priced for a city centre hairdresser at around £26 at the Shisheido salon which uses high quality products). They also arranged tickets for the Tokyo Skytree, and they recommended places to visit and various restaurants. We really relied on their expertise, and they were so generous with their time. All in all, we had an amazing and very memorable experience at this hotel. We hope we'll be lucky enough to return one day again.

Aman Tokyo Hotels near The East Gardens of the Imperial Palace
Aman Tokyo Hotels near The East Gardens of the Imperial PalaceAman Tokyo Hotels near The East Gardens of the Imperial Palace
Tokyo Station/Nihonbashi | 0.75km from The East Gardens of the Imperial Palace
An exclusive sanctuary high above Japans cosmopolitan capital Aman Tokyo is Amans first urban concept hotel situated adjacent to the Otemachi Forest. Offering birds eye views of the Imperial Palace Gardens and surrounding Tokyo landmarks the hotel features a serene Aman Spa and a peaceful inner garden. Surrounded by engawa a wooden feature dividing the inside and out the soaring lobby rises nearly 30 metres. Aman Tokyo is a monument to the modern-day Japanese capital - a place where urban dynamism is tempered with serenity. Perched above the Tokyo skyline the private dining room and boardroom are perfect for both on- and off-duty occasions.

GGuest User 2023.07.07
Aman Tokyo sets a new standard for exceptional hard products. Despite a mishap on our first night when we returned from dinner to find our room uncleaned, the front desk manager promptly apologized and offered complimentary drinks. The head of housekeeping also personally apologized at breakfast and showered us with thoughtful gestures like a fruit platter and free laundry. Subsequently, our stay was faultless. Aman Tokyo also boasts stunning design and architecture and a strategic location near Otemachi station, Tokyo station, the Imperial Palace, and Ginza. Its awe-inspiring atrium leaves a lasting impression. The generously sized rooms, starting at 70 square meters, feature high ceilings throughout, with unforgettable views of the imperial gardens from the bed. Even the retractable TV showcases its thoughtful design, providing guests with an unobstructed view of the Tokyo skyline. The hotel's farewell was equally remarkable. Providing a complimentary hotel car transfer to Tokyo station, while being escorted by another staff member who went the extra mile to purchase our tickets, carry our luggage to the platform, store our luggage on the train and brought us to our seats. Undoubtedly, this luxury at Aman Tokyo comes at a price. However, delivers the sought-after wow factor for which its rates command. After all, Tokyo is one of the most expensive cities in the world. From the grand lobby to the inviting pool and spacious rooms, the hotel impresses on many levels. Managing expectations is, however, key. It would be unrealistic to expect the usual Aman-type of service commonly associated with their other properties whose room counts are a lot smaller. While the initial mishap was regrettable, the subsequent personalized attention and meticulous service surpassed expectations for a city hotel with 80 rooms. Whether this was due to the initial mishap or reflective of their usual standards remains unknown, warranting another stay on my next visit to Tokyo.

It’s really good place and location, everything is cleaned, but…to be honest , it’s impossible to stay there because of air , it’s too much people for so small space, so I stayed for tree nights in 8-bed room : there is no any possibility to open window, conditioner is not enough for air so I had to stay in another one places two nights on three because of it …an also it’s a big confused for sharing bathroom area woman/man , think it should be separated. Sorry for my review but it’s important

It was conveniently located near the west exit of Kanda Station, and we had a very comfortable stay. The luggage storage service was very helpful, and the receptionists were kind and made us feel comfortable. The only thing that bothered me was that the room was not cleaned properly.

It's good to be near the station, but the sound of the trains and the voices of people coming out of the pub outside are very noisy. The walls are thin so you can hear voices from the next room. The shower room and toilet are clean. Animity is also available, although I don't know when. Bath towels and loungewear are also provided. Recommended for those who just need to sleep alone. You will receive a phone call 3 minutes before check-out time. Is there a former karaoke inside the hotel? That's what it feels like. The front area felt a little unclean.

Very near to ginza area. There are 3 convenient store nearby, 1 just beside the hotel. We are from Indonesia, and were very lucky to meet the Indonesian’ receptiont, she was very kind. Until 3 days ago, the FS on Koh Samui was in a terrible eye. This time, the master's medal (the smallest medal) was the Imperial Palace, and the ceremony was Chinzanso Tokyo. ”I want to go to the Grand Hyatt club because it's okay to be early in the morning 1” Darling pinched Da 々 Now the hotel price in Japan is soaring, so I can't get a hand, so I can't get a hand. Point accommodation 2 20 year for the first time in a year Staying at Grand Hyatt I loved without it. After all it calms down. Mahogany (Kana) Granite. High-quality space that is not gorgeous. Beauty of lighting. I don't feel the age of 20 years old this year. It's great to return to your appearance. The artistic pool is a waste. In the last few years, the plane has not flew in Corona. I have stayed at a domestic color 々 hotel. There are various hotels that do not match. But my husband, ”Why do you like Grand Hyatt?” I wondered if it was the number one in Tokyo, the number one in Japan, the number one in the world, ”Well, so I don't think I'm satisfied wherever I stay.” (I like Mr. Aman too) The club lounge was overseas without passports because the customer base returned. Thank you for taking a lot of pictures of all the Bell staff. There is a dignified air in Ray, and everyone at the Grand Club, I swelled my stomach to the fullest in the club lounge (this time it was 20 years 1 delicious). When did you lose money? Thank you for your wonderful memories. This time, I took a commemorative photo from Mr. S tudio S. Thank you for your wonderful professional work. It became a dreamy commemorative photo. Thanks to everyone, the best. 1 It's a day. It's been a day. It's been a day. It's been a day. It's a day. It's a day. It's a day. It's a day. It's a day. It's a day. It's a day. It's a day. Adequate room size, clean (comes with air filter), complete amenities are provided and then some. They also have a self-service, first-come-first-serve locker/baggage room in case you arrive early before check-in time ( I believe it's also available if you checked-out and require a place to leave your luggage before moving to your next destination). Location wise, although it was manageable, it's still quite a distance from Shinjuku Stn and can be a challenge if lugging a suitcase or traveling with a kid. Overall is was a good experience, a nice comfortable space worth its price tag.

GGuest UserShiba Park Hotel is a beautiful, clean, quiet, elegant, fairly priced, stylish & cozy place. The rooms are large enough and the bathroom is modern, with all the amenities. In the room there is a safe, a large TV, comfortable sleepers and 2 brown cotton robes to wear when relaxing. We recommend to stay in this hotel to any tourist visiting the city, as it’s close to Daimon subway station and to many other attractions (Tokyo tower and Zojo-ji temple). Nice service, although the receptionists are a little slow. At floor 4 there’s a self service laundry (washer, drier and ironing board) that you can use with just 400 yens, at floor 8 there’s a water dispenser, and at floor 5 you can find a vending machine with cold water, sodas and beer! You can drink unlimited free coffee and tea at the main floor, and there’s a full restaurant at the entrance.

CChengPerfect location for shopping with major malls located with 10mins walk. The hygiene of the street outside the hotel is below expectation but that’s not what the hotel is responsible for. Type C port next to the bed makes charging convenient. The self laundry service costs 600 yen for 2-hour washing and drying without the need to bring detergent. Another convenient service is the drinking fountain on each floor with the choice of iced, room temperature and hot water.

KKaren TravellerWe book this hotel due to the free shuttle bus service to Disneyland and the appointment need to be made 2 months ago via the website . The shuttle bus is quite full but makes us very convenient to the park. We took the Limousine Bus from NRT airport straight to the hotel with around 1.5 hours and you can also buy the return ticket from the front desk. The transportation support of this hotel is awesome ! We also book a car nearby in Nippon car rental and only take us 5 mins walking distance to the car pick up point , the overnight parking charge is affordable with only 1000 yen per night. Recommended this hotel to those travellers looking for fast and convenient transportation time.

CCCarolineI always use this hotel for my stay in Tokyo. It has always been excellent whenever I visited precovid. However this time, the room was not very clean and I even had to feedback as the bed gave me rashes. Not sure why they would just change the duvet cover without changing the bedsheets. But other than that everything else was good, including the accessibility, staff service and view was beautiful from our room.

AAnonymous UserHighly recommend anyone who wants to stay in Ginza and wants an onsen within the hotel as well. Can't explain the joy of coming back after a long day of 25k steps and soaking in an onsen. The hotel provides a bathrobe & outdoor slippers (not for room) so you can use that to move about the hotel. The onsen has shower gel, shampoo and conditioner as well, so all you have to do is bring a towel that the hotel also provides. For anyone wondering, the hotel also has a coin operated washer and dryer. Can't remember the exact cost, but one cycle of washing and drying probably amounted to about 300 yen! Worth it to avoid doing laundry at home. For the room itself, although it is small, with some expert maneuvering, we were able to open up 1 large and 1 small luggage to pack things. The is a typical Japanese sized room aka small, but it's rather functional so it works if you're just looking to get some shut eye. All in all, I recommend this hotel!

MMurahariOnly 10 minutes walk from Ikebukuro Station (Exit North/W) along the way there are several shops including konbinis like Lawson and Family Mart.. there's also an AEON supermarket right next door! Love that this quiet neighborhood has so many facilities next to each other. Infront of the property there's a halal Pakistani Restaurant which adds a bonus for any traveller staying there. Also, the onsen within the property was what attracted me in the first place, Japan isn't Japan w/o a trip to an onsen and having one downstairs in the hotel is a convenient relief after a long day of sightseeing around Tokyo! Will definetly return for future stays!

LLauren YeungSent email prior arrival, not very helpful and they specifically mentioned they do not have concierge service, which is sad to hear as I visit quite often prior Covid, they were happy to help with everything, now they would just say they are not able to help 🤷🏻♀️ The location of the hotel is definitely 5 stars! Right in the middle of the city, it’s so convenient to go around for shopping or food Room size is quite small, but not a big deal since we spend most of the time out. But would consider trying other ones next time after seeing the change of service over the years 🥲

GGuest UserThe hotel uses self-service check-in. This time, we have two adults and a one-and-a-half-year-old baby. The room looks very big in the photo, but it would be a bit awkward to put two suitcases in. This time, I was more disappointed when I entered the room. I found that the cleaning was not very clean, there was a lot of hair from the previous tenant, and there was dust on the refrigerator. The towels provided by the hotel have a strong smell of bleach, so it is recommended to bring your own towels. The location is about 15 minutes from the station. The only good thing is that the eel rice next door is delicious.

GGuest UserGreat hotel located in a wonderful area of Tokyo! The room was expectedly small, but good for two average sized women. Train and bus stations located at a 10-15 mins walking distance, which was very convenient for getting around the city. Beds were very sturdy, not my preference. Check-in and check-out were very quick and easy.
