Too many great things to say about Mimaru Kinshicho to make this a short review but a very well deserved max rating from us as a travelling family of 5 from the UK. We booked the Theatre double bunk family room for a week. Firstly LOCATION, Excellent location situated less than 10 mins walk to Kinshicho station which has great transport links to Tokyo Station (3 stops on the Sobu Rapid) and Akhihabara/Shinjuku Stations on the Chuo Sobu, both of which more importantly are on JR lines and hence are JR Pass friendly, no need for an extra ticket if you already have a JR Pass! Kinshicho location itself is already a bustling area surrounded by large department stores, entertainment and food places so in terms of local ammenities, Kinshicho is abundant. Now onto the ApartHotel itself.. STAFF & SERVICE An array of multi lingual/multi cultural staff as well as being able to speak other foreigh languages all spoke perfect English so for the travelling foreigner, it was so refreshing to be able to communicate easily. Extremely polite staff all young and enthusiastic serving with a smile. They also offer to receive delivered luggages so when we sent out luggages from Osaka during our first leg of the Japan trip, not only were Mimaru happy to receive it, they also delivered the luggages straight to our room on arrival so our luggages was in the room ready and waiting for us. Little touches that we really appreciated. ROOM The best part - Modern, clean and fresh but most importantly for a city like Tokyo, the apartment was extremely large and spacious. Hotel rooms in Tokyo have always been tiny and cramped so our mindset always expected that so when upon entering this room, it exceeded our expectations. Had nice perks such as projection screen with smart TV capabilities such as Youtube, Netflix, phone screen mirrorring. A double sink area with a wetroom and large bath tub. An extra bedroom with 2 single beds (to quarantine the loud snorer like me) as well as the double bunk bed in the main studio room that easily sleeps 4. A large seating area and table that will comfortable seat six large adults. Very satisfied with the room choice and the best we've stayed in during all our previous stays in Japan. NEGATIVES/CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK I only have one very minor gripe. It is great that this place offers a large list of free-to-loan essential items (Like rice cooker, toaster, adapters etc) but I feel it is missing and could benefit from a fair usage policy on the items or at least on more popular items such as the iron and ironing board. When customers loan items, it is entirely up to them as and when they decide to return the items. This is why we waited for over 2 days for an iron and ironing board to become available. I feel the ApartHotel staff can reserve the right to retrieve loan items daily during housekeeping and if people requires the items, they can request it again from reception. The hotel room is small, it is tatami, the hotel service is not good, there is no room cleaning service during the day. The room bathroom is very small. This room can accommodate up to three people and barely live in four people. You can save money.

This hotel was the first time I used it. It was a ２ person plan in a semi-double room. With children and ２ people, I was prepared that the semi-double bed bed would be small, but I felt almost the same with the double bed. ５ cm Are you narrow? If you are a low-height cherry blossom ordinary body type person, you can sleep with a margin even ２ people. Close to the station, the room was clean and the front desk was kind. It is a recommended hotel. I also used coin laundry, but I was able to vacate immediately because the number of rooms was small.

This hotel does not have a front desk and you need to check in by yourself. You can make a video call to the front desk and someone will help you check in. The hotel is very convenient. There is a laundry room that charges 300 yen for laundry, and the key point is that it only charges 100 yuan! Prepare change and dry for 100 yuan for 30 minutes! I stayed for consecutive days and did not clean every day. I had to ask the waiter for garbage bags myself🤣. The check-out time was 10 o'clock, but I made a mistake and he came to inform me. I was 40 minutes late but he didn't charge me! It's still pretty good. I should stay here next time

Aman Tokyo sets a new standard for exceptional hard products. Despite a mishap on our first night when we returned from dinner to find our room uncleaned, the front desk manager promptly apologized and offered complimentary drinks. The head of housekeeping also personally apologized at breakfast and showered us with thoughtful gestures like a fruit platter and free laundry. Subsequently, our stay was faultless. Aman Tokyo also boasts stunning design and architecture and a strategic location near Otemachi station, Tokyo station, the Imperial Palace, and Ginza. Its awe-inspiring atrium leaves a lasting impression. The generously sized rooms, starting at 70 square meters, feature high ceilings throughout, with unforgettable views of the imperial gardens from the bed. Even the retractable TV showcases its thoughtful design, providing guests with an unobstructed view of the Tokyo skyline. The hotel's farewell was equally remarkable. Providing a complimentary hotel car transfer to Tokyo station, while being escorted by another staff member who went the extra mile to purchase our tickets, carry our luggage to the platform, store our luggage on the train and brought us to our seats. Undoubtedly, this luxury at Aman Tokyo comes at a price. However, delivers the sought-after wow factor for which its rates command. After all, Tokyo is one of the most expensive cities in the world. From the grand lobby to the inviting pool and spacious rooms, the hotel impresses on many levels. Managing expectations is, however, key. It would be unrealistic to expect the usual Aman-type of service commonly associated with their other properties whose room counts are a lot smaller. While the initial mishap was regrettable, the subsequent personalized attention and meticulous service surpassed expectations for a city hotel with 80 rooms. Whether this was due to the initial mishap or reflective of their usual standards remains unknown, warranting another stay on my next visit to Tokyo.

This hotel is excellent, location is very good, near many sights in Tokyo, staff are very nice, and really take consideration on our needs, will visit this hotel when we travel to Tokyo again.

The hotel is right next to Ruijiang River on Shinjuku Line. The traffic is very convenient. The room space is OK, but the pillow is difficult to sleep. The first night I slept well with my pillow. The last 3 nights were sleepable with my own clothes. The faucet in the bathroom was old-fashioned. The hot and cold water had to be adjusted separately. But the water is not too small or too cold or too hot, a whole super difficult to use, bathing can be said to be a terrible thing, also because the water is difficult to adjust the relationship, if you want to put water in the bathtub, water will be put for a long time, will not consider living later.

The hotel place is about 10mins walking distance from the nearby Hamamatsucho (JR Line) train station. The hotel vibrant gives off old antique looking. Initially the room provided to us has some wall cracks damages and the air ventilation has some issues, whereby it did not produce cool wind even when we put the room temperature at 20 degree Celsius. We have to feedback to request for a room change. Initially the hotel receptionist mention they are unable to provide another room due to unavailability, but much rounds of asking, we manage to get another room (still got little bit of wall cracks), but at least the air ventilation is working. The rest of stays are generally OK, whereby we do not have much complaints about it. We sincerely hope the hotel could look into this.

Adequate room size, clean (comes with air filter), complete amenities are provided and then some. They also have a self-service, first-come-first-serve locker/baggage room in case you arrive early before check-in time ( I believe it's also available if you checked-out and require a place to leave your luggage before moving to your next destination). Location wise, although it was manageable, it's still quite a distance from Shinjuku Stn and can be a challenge if lugging a suitcase or traveling with a kid. Overall is was a good experience, a nice comfortable space worth its price tag.

It was an early morning flight, so I stayed the night before. I was closed for a while due to the corona disaster, but I am happy that it has resumed. The front desk staff and the bus driver are as expected! Needless to say, the room is clean, but the bed and sofa are also calm. Free drinks in the lobby lounge are also good If you dare to say, it would be nice to have a towel in the lounge. The faucet of the sink is good, but the water pressure of the shower is a little.
