It is used for business trips. It's quite a walk from Akasaka-mitsuke Station, but you can do some shopping at a convenience store along the way. Depending on the direction of your room, you may have a good view. The room I stayed in was on the side of a group of buildings, so it wasn't very nice, but since I was on a business trip, it wasn't a problem. Check-in at the reception was very smooth and the receptionist was professional. Security is perfect as you enter the elevator with a card key. The room is neither large nor small, but it is enough for one person to sleep. The bathroom was relatively large and comfortable.

This review will be hard to write, it's a very nice hotel but I also find it hard to recommend to tourists. Room: The Tokyo Tower view room is very pretty at night. The bed is comfy. I don't like having the closet on the opposite end of the sleeping area though, I find that very inconvenient when packing/getting ready. And for a hotel that opened in 2016, that TV is tiny and needs to be larger. The Aesop products are nice, and come in big bottles with pumps (which I prefer over tiny bottles). They offer free HH in lounge, I was pleasantly surprised to find live performance! Food offering during HH is pretty basic, but that's ok because I'd rather be eating in the city anyways. Evening turndown service could be enhanced a bit, may need to borrow a page from your colleagues at Grand Hyatt ;) Location: This is the one thing that truly sucks about this place for tourists. Toranomon Hills is a very business-heavy area, a ghost town after 6 p.m. There's no department stores, no shopping, only two convenience stores nearby, barely any dining options after 9 p.m. To do anything you'll need to get on a subway/taxi from hotel. The walk to the subway station is frankly a little longer than I like, but it's indoor underground which is nice for cold and rainy days. Overall, I would recommend a stay here if you're on a work trip and your office is in the area. Or you just have to check this place off your bucket list because of its design or the room with Tokyo Tower view. As a typical tourist in Tokyo who values convenience and accessibility to restaurants and shopping, I probably won't be back. It's a shame because this place has so much potential if it was in a better area, but I guess you can't have it all!

Hotel location, cleanliness is good. But they gave limited parking space, for such a big hotel. Please book in advance if u r driving. Also, the receptionist is not helpful, they leave you to manage if there's no more hotel parking. It's still a distance to walk to the shinjuku city centre. Single female, not advised to stay as it's near the red district.

This hotel is excellent, location is very good, near many sights in Tokyo, staff are very nice, and really take consideration on our needs, will visit this hotel when we travel to Tokyo again.

Aman Tokyo sets a new standard for exceptional hard products. Despite a mishap on our first night when we returned from dinner to find our room uncleaned, the front desk manager promptly apologized and offered complimentary drinks. The head of housekeeping also personally apologized at breakfast and showered us with thoughtful gestures like a fruit platter and free laundry. Subsequently, our stay was faultless. Aman Tokyo also boasts stunning design and architecture and a strategic location near Otemachi station, Tokyo station, the Imperial Palace, and Ginza. Its awe-inspiring atrium leaves a lasting impression. The generously sized rooms, starting at 70 square meters, feature high ceilings throughout, with unforgettable views of the imperial gardens from the bed. Even the retractable TV showcases its thoughtful design, providing guests with an unobstructed view of the Tokyo skyline. The hotel's farewell was equally remarkable. Providing a complimentary hotel car transfer to Tokyo station, while being escorted by another staff member who went the extra mile to purchase our tickets, carry our luggage to the platform, store our luggage on the train and brought us to our seats. Undoubtedly, this luxury at Aman Tokyo comes at a price. However, delivers the sought-after wow factor for which its rates command. After all, Tokyo is one of the most expensive cities in the world. From the grand lobby to the inviting pool and spacious rooms, the hotel impresses on many levels. Managing expectations is, however, key. It would be unrealistic to expect the usual Aman-type of service commonly associated with their other properties whose room counts are a lot smaller. While the initial mishap was regrettable, the subsequent personalized attention and meticulous service surpassed expectations for a city hotel with 80 rooms. Whether this was due to the initial mishap or reflective of their usual standards remains unknown, warranting another stay on my next visit to Tokyo.

Hotel is located across from the station, about 5-7min walk. the hotel is behind some building that's on the main road. Just gps it's general direction and walk towards it, then pay attention for writing/signs that direct you to the lobby. Hotel comes with its own mini plaza, with retail shops, food court, restaurant, kids bowling, convenient store, tax free shops, cosmetics, pharmacy, etc. Service is efficient and polite. The room is small obviously because it is Tokyo Japan. But the room is Japanese clean, so you can be sure that comfort level is there. Everything in the room serves a purpose and no space is wasted. typical Japan plastic cramped bathroom, yet very clean, spotless, feels newer, strong shower flow that will ease your full day of walking around town.

The lobby is on the fourth floor, and there are capsule rooms on separate floors for men and women. The men's bathroom is on the eighth floor. There is a lounge after taking a shower. You can usually stay in the lounge until you go to bed and then go back to the capsule room. The lounge has a refrigerator, microwave, and water dispenser, which can meet the needs of those who travel alone.
