The cozy semibasement apartment located in a quiet and convenient downtown neighborhood. Dovercourt Rd close to Bloor st. Less than 500 meters from Bloor street. 5-minute-walking distance from Ossington subway station. Near Korea town, Casa Loma Castle, University of Toronto's downtown campus, Royal Ontario Museum, Little Italy, High park and Ontario Lake. A variety of restaurants, banks, coffee shops, convenience stores, Dufferin mall and Galleria mall are located within walking distance. This is a basement apartment of a traditional home. The apartment has a fully stocked private kitchen, a dining area with living room. It has own private washroom, and a spacious bedroom. The bedroom has a doulbe size bed, plus a sofa bed in living room, one more singled sized bed could be added to the living room. Shampoo, body wash, bath towels and toothpaste included in the washroom. If you have any problem with your stay, you can easily reach me by phone or messages. I also reside in the rooms upstairs if you prefer to communicate in person. This is a basement unit, if you are over 6'2, you might feel confined.

I stayed at this basement for five nights and I was very impressed by the quality and service. The basement was cozy and spotless, with a private bathroom and a comfortable bed. The location was ideal, just a few steps away from the TTC and the Bloor street, where there are many shops and restaurants. The host was very kind and attentive, always ready to assist me with anything I needed. I really enjoyed my stay and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a convenient and affordable accommodation in Toronto.

Great clean room and love the city view! Room is spacious. Nice firm bed. Bathroom is clean and spacious too! Do note that they do not have electric kettle in the rooms, so do request for one if you need one. Slightly outside of downtown Toronto approx 20-30mins drive out, depending on traffic. I had a concert at Budweiser Stage September 24 and all the hotels in and around Toronto were ridiculous prices. We arrived about half an hour before check in and the front desk agent was able to get us a room that was just cleaned. We had a room with two queen beds and soon as we opened the door it all we could smell was CLEAN! The window is small but I'm not there to look out the window. We were about halfway down the building so noise from the expressway was not an issue. There was a bar fridge and a microwave which came in handy (the bar fridge for us). The bathroom was updated and very clean. The beds and pillows were comfy and we slept well. I went down to the lobby to get some water from the dispenser, which was turned off as it's normally only on until 11AM for the juice options. The front desk agent turned it on so I could get some water. PROS: Great price, comfy beds/pillows, great location, friendly staff. Tim Horton's next door! CONS: only saw one ice machine on the first floor by lobby. No shower chair for disabled people to use in the shower. They ask for a $200 hold on your CC upon check in which I think is excessive. Overall, this is a great, affordable option for a trip to Toronto. Right off the expresswa & very close to shopping. A no frills place to stay that won't break the bank!

We stayed at the DoubleTree in September prior to flying to Greece and were really impressed! Everything was very clean and the decor was modern and updated. Robert, our server at the Taza Grill, was delightful to talk to, and the meal was excellent. Joseph and the front desk staff were very friendly and professional and the airport shuttle driver, Qurshi, had a wonderful sense of humour and helped to make our experience a really enjoyable one. We will definitely be back!

GGuest UserWe have been staying at the Old Mill on and off for many years. It is not the same as it once was. To have to order coffee and breakfast thru room service daily is a crime. Especially for how much they charge. How is it any different to offer coffee and breakfast in the Home Smith? Still need a cook and staff, either to bring it to your room or serve. Would make the stay so much better to have a relaxing breakfast and a coffee in the beautiful lobby. I understand during covid things needed to be changed. But by now, can't use that as an excuse anymore. I can have dinner in the Home Smith, no problem

GGuest UserPossibly one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. However, I can’t give full 5 stars to Hotel St. Regis Toronto for reasons that I’ll explain later. On the subject of location, the Hotel St. Regis in Toronto is in a very fantastic location in downtown Toronto with many of the city’s main sights and attractions (CN Tower, St. Lawrence’s Market and Yonge-Dundas square) all within short walking distance from this hotel. Readily accessible through RideShare apps too. Regarding staff, they were super friendly and helpful, in our experience. We initially had some debit card issues at check-in and admittedly, we should have been better-prepared for the credit card culture in North America. Thankfully, St. Regis were very flexible and our debit card issues were eventually resolved. I’m truly impressed by how accommodating St. Regis are for those of us who are from places that very rarely use credit cards. The offer of complimentary water at check-in was also appreciated. The housekeeping team, especially the Filipinos, were very thorough, kept our suite spotless and respected guest privacy. And on check-out experience, this is where St. Regis Toronto loses points for me. The check-out process took way longer than what is typically expected especially for a 5-star location (should be <10 min but took about 30 min for us). Unfortunately, a bit of the little time we have left in Toronto was wasted. What’s also disappointing was this time, there was no offer of complimentary drinks (even tap water, which is free and generally safe to drink in Toronto) while we wait. Admittedly, the staff seemed overwhelmed and visibly stressed during the time we were trying to check-out but I hope the situation improves for the St. Regis Toronto team in the future. On the atmosphere, it was magnificent and luxurious. These two words came to mind when we first entered the lobby. The grandiose look of Hotel St. Regis in Toronto permeated the whole building, from the hallways to our suite. In terms of our room, we booked the Grand Suite which was on the 28th floor and the views from up there, especially at night, were phenomenal. Our suite was very spacious and generally had plenty of storage room. St. Regis Toronto also loses some points here when it comes to storage since we found that there was insufficient storage space for cold items and there was no freezer either. The heated floors and the walk-in shower were also fantastic. The accent wall, mood lighting, clever use of marble for the room design and chandeliers were wonderful touches too, contributing to the luxurious atmosphere of this hotel. The living area of the Grand Suite was our favourite area, especially at night. I’m going to mention the views from the Grand Suite again as they were truly spectacular. On the online engagement. at the time of writing, I found the low level of engagement by St. Regis Toronto with online reviewers here at Google disappointing. I think the hotel should make more of an eff

GGuest UserStayed 2 nights to catch a baseball game! Cons - view was a empty parking garage, a bit noisy from hallway, just could hear doors closing loudly but our floor was still nice and quiet, and the make-up mirror was broken (so these were the only real cons) Pros - We loved it, Location is Fantastic, so close to Union Station 5 minute walk, close to Rogers Stadium, CN Tower, Aquarium & Harbourfront, we went for breakfast at the St Lawrence Market, a 20 second walk and then we also had a lovely 15 minute walk to the Distillery District. Staff were sooo friendly and accommodating! We only had one meal in the Cafe/Bistro, but it was great (Breakfast) and staff were sooo nice! Beds were comfy!!! Hotel and rooms were super clean! It really was a great place to stay, we will def stay there again!

Room is clean look like renovated the only down side is the house and neighbourhood is run down conditions u will not likely to put up there in first impression. GGuest UserWhen I booked this it clearly said POOL There was no pool needs to be taken off the website. Room was clean, not enough towels for 4 people. There were only 2. I did not see a problem with breakfast, it was pretty much hot breaky. Sat morning there were home fries, scrambled eggs, bacon ( which needed to be cooked more so I didn't eat it ) There is a machine to make your own waffles, bread for toast and I believe hot dogs ? Muffins ( They were blueberry that is why they looked the way they did, they were not moldy ) juice, coffee, tea. There was no fresh fruit which was disappointing. 1st night wedding was awakened at 2am by the wedding party good thing they went to their rooms and settled down. 2nd night another wedding was at their venue never heard a peep. When we did come back on the Sat around 7 our room keys didn't work. Person at the front desk was apologetic and gave us new ones. Also asked for decafe and he delivered 4 pkgs to our room since there was none at breaky.

GGuest UserLike a youth hostel but not a youth hostel. The location is also very good, just near Chinatown, not far from the University of Toronto, Ito, etc., within walking distance. The service is good, there are refrigerators and microwave ovens, independent space, simple but complete facilities, the boss is rather cunning, there is a bag that has been stored for more than ten days, and I charged 50 Canadian dollars, but it is actually piled up in the laundry room, which is later than me It is also expensive to store in LA hotels, but they are star hotels. If 30 Canadian dollars is more reasonable. Generally recommended, there are many delicious Cantonese restaurants nearby, and there is also a vegetable market.

GGuest UserI want to start by saying how happy I am that the host let us check in an hour earlier since it starts at 5pm instead of the regular 3pm. This is an Airbnb type of place that requires you to put a $450 deposit for a one night stay which I thought it was very high. The location is amazing, walking distance to the CN tower and restaurants. It is a very cute place except for the cleanliness. The place was DIRTY. We decided to not use the shower because it was full of mold and hair (picture attached), there was hair everywhere! We saw there was a washer and dryer but the washer was full of towels that yet needed to be dry so we decided not to use. There were stains in the bed sheets so we decided to lay some of our own towels on top to sleep. We also decided to not touch the kitchen because the burner was broken and we did not want to cause a fire or something like that. Over all, it was decent for a one night stay but they need to fire the cleaner because I believe it is an easy fix to be a better place to stay.
