The location and parking were convenient enough for one night. The check in procedure was horrendous. You are left at the front door constantly ringing the bell and calling a number until someone phones the staff inside to let you in. Then that staff member stays on the phone to them to find out the keysafe code to let you into your room. Completely unprofessional. The room was clean enough and very basic. There was only one bedside table and one plug socket on the other side of the room that was used up by the kettle and tv. The en suite was abysmal. The toilet lid was broken off completely. The pipework for the shower was fully visible. There was mould in the shower. The toilet leaked and flooded the floor whenever it was used. You had serious risk of concussion from the ill placed shelf above the sink. The bed was comfortable enough and we would have slept well had it not been for the genuine torture of a constant tapping all through the night. It sounded like water dripping into the room/space above or onto the roof outside the window. Dripping makes it sound like it was quiet but it was LOUD and heavy and it went on until we checked out. All in all, it wasn't worth the money, despite it being comparatively cheap to other hotels nearby. We will not be staying here again.

Not what I expected when I first walked in but the room had been renovated and looked nice. The price reflected the service. The only thing was, there was no cups for the tea and we did ask and still didn’t get them. Apart from that it was lovely and even had a balcony with a sea view! Amazing

As always we were greeted with a friendly face and smile at reception,we arrived before check in time but they always check to see if a room is available. On this occasion it wasn't but they happily took our bags in so we could go enjoy our afternoon without the worry of carrying them around. Check in was quick and simple and we were in our room within 5 mins of check in. Room was spacious clean and fresh. We were given a twin room this time which was perfect as I was traveling with a friend not partner. Bed was super comfy with great pillows. Shower was really nice ,decent water pressure and the shower gel provided was lovely too. Breakfast was a big selection of the normal cooked,everything was fresh and tasty,bacon was slightly over cooked but the rest was great. Nice selection of pastries too. Continental is also an option there. Fresh juices and hot drink available also. Overall another 5* stay in my opinion and as a regular user will be returning again in the nr future! Thankyou Hilton.

I am writing this review on behalf of my parents who have just stayed at the Trecarn through Caledonia Travel - and theyve had a fabulous time. Yes the hotel needs a little updating in places but they are getting back on their feet from suffering 2years of covid. For my parents - the staff were excellent and the food was excellent (buffet style for which you could eat has much as you wanted and 4free drinks per person). The evening entertainment was very good and they enjoyed the bingo also. Their Caledonia Drivers were excellent and all the trips were also thoroughly enjoyed. Overall a great holiday

On the same day, because I had a lot of chat with my old classmates, I decided to stay in the nearby area for a day. I found the nearest hotel. There is breakfast. It is a simple breakfast. It is just a simple meal. Just Sunday, they will wait for us. After I got off work, the hotel was old and the bed was too soft.

You couldn’t ask for nicer owners. So friendly, helpful and considerate. This place is in a good location as it’s quiet but near to shops and not too far a walk from the sea front. There is plenty of parking, decent rooms and facilities and a lovely breakfast room with food cooked to order. Thank you for a lovely stay

Great hotel, the room was lovely & so was the pool area! We went on the weekend at the start of half term so there was a lot of family’s there & children. I heard the week is better if you don’t want lots of children around but for us this wasn’t an issue. The hotel is very big & there is lots around. It is also in a great location close to the beach, parks & walking distance from the town. We really enjoyed our stay here :)
