#positive #I was happy with the Wall Cleanliness, Cleanliness of the Bathroom, Staff Attitude; The hotel has a very German style, with traditional architecture and decoration. The keys are very big and heavy, very old-fashioned. The service attitude is very good, but it is far from the main city and the train station.

The small room was very dark due to the tiny window, which was clearly underlined by the dark, old-fashioned furnishings. In the entire bathroom there was only one small double hook for all the towels, bath towels and bathrobes, no words... we have seen a lot of hotels, but this detail made us laugh. There is no shelf/closet/compartment for the toiletry bag, nor anything to hang up. There is also no shelf for suitcases or travel bags in the room, which is even more uncomfortable in the small room, as everything is on the floor. The outdated furnishings are far from details such as a USB charging socket or radio. The sauna in the basement was really good and everything was very clean. The staff is very friendly and competent. We are around 50 and would describe the clientele as older. Oh yes, in the entrance area to the reception there is a "popcorn machine" which produces fresh popcorn several times a day (very cool) and "free of charge". Conclusion: A hefty price for the facilities... We spent 2 nights in the hotel and I described the food in the other review.

Beautiful hotel in classic style, elegant and very well looked after. Delightful and original environments. Welcome and kindness at the reception. Rooms not very large but very welcoming. Nice bathroom. The swimming pool is pleasant. Internal parking. Super breakfast... very rich, with quality products. Exceptional restaurant with female staff in costume. Great variety of very well cooked dishes. Highly recommended!

Great hotel for when you are passing through. It is a 40-minute walk from the center of Trier. The rooms have solid German interior. There is a Spa for guest use and it is clean and neatly maintained. Breakfast is 22 euros, which I think is too much for what you get. Plenty of choice at breakfast, more variety in fresh fruit is welcome. Tip; ask for a room on the quiet side. Hotel is located next to a main road.

I had a lovely stay here the end of September beginning of October for 4 nights. After a long flight we were greeted by the friendly Sebastian who helped us with our luggage to our rooms. The room was very comfortable. Everything is updated but, it does not have usb plug in for phone. The restaurant food was fantastic as was the morning breakfast. Don’t skip on the breakfast and have dinner here at least one night. I can not say how much the entire staff made our stay so wonderful. Front desk, restaurant and housekeeping were all very helpful and went above and beyond. Special thanks to Sebastian at the front desk!

Pleasant stay in an attractive hotel. Very nice room, fine wellness area with sauna and indoor pool and, most importantly, the very good food in the restaurant. A la carte and the 4-course menu were great! Warm welcome at reception and a feel-good atmosphere in the restaurant. We'd be happy to come back!
