The quality of the food is outstanding, all the staff is very helpful an friendly. Can see allover on the property that maintenance and upgrades is in full progress. The fireman & phoenix bar is definitely a must visit, cant wait that the red post box re-opens. The view is amazing even if it's misty or a clear day.

A warm welcome greets you from the staff who work in every department of the extrordinary hotel. It is set in beautiful grounds, overlooking stunning scenery of the mountains. The history and how the hotel came about was facinating to learn whilst we stayed there. A totally chilled out enviorment. pool area to sit in both inside and out. Our room was comfortable but very dated. It was however nice to have a bath. There was a fridge and also amenities to make hot drinks, which were replenished daily. Our room was cleaned daily. The resturant produced food to a very high standard both at breakfast and dinner.
