Un hotel muy bonito, Janeth nos atendió súper bien, nos explicó los servicios del hotel, tour y nos recomendó la cata de vinos. Nos recomendó ir al Pueblito a conocer. Muy agradable la experiencia en Barrancas del cobre. El hotel tranquilo, bonito, cómodo y agradable. Lo recomiendo mucho.

El lugar es muy ameno y tiene gran accesibilidad a las actividades turísticas de la zona. La vista es increíble y en hotel el mirador la vista del restaurante a las barrancas es impresionante. Al igual la comida que ofrecen es buena. Una muy bonita experiencia.

Ridiculously overpriced for what it offers, I actually thought I had reserved the hotel across the street from this one. Running water was dark and dirty, we couldn’t even shower. The place is old and not maintained. The bathroom was stinky, sink was probably older than me, as well as the mattresses. You have to pay extra if you want to have access to wifi, and there’s no signal in that area. The only good thing about the “hotel” was Janet, the receptionist. We’re never going back.

Kind of a mixed bag with some pros but really big cons.
Pros: the room was nice, the grounds are gorgeous and the staff is very pleasant.
Cons:
1. It does not have a restaurant or bar. It has a refrigerator with water and some beers which you can’t purchase after 7 p.m. Their sister property—El Mirador—has the restaurant and a full bar.
2. The hotel doesn’t take cash. Which was really annoying and also led to a lot of foreign transaction fees on our credit card. We had a lot of pesos/cash on hand as we were traveling on the El Chepe, which doesn’t take cards. We were able to setup a tab so we could charge to the room, but we had to request it—it wasn’t automatic like it is at many hotels. And unfortunately this hotel and the one with the restaurant don’t communicate with each other. So we’d end up with a $50 peso charge for a cup of Jamaica even though the meal was included, which we needed to pay with a credit card. Again, lots of annoying micro-transactions and bank charges.
3. Our booking included meals but the strict schedule didn’t work for us.
4. The look of the room was nice. It had been remodeled, but there were issues. The front door would only open halfway and a poor tile job basically flooded the bathroom every time we showered.
5. The bedding consisted of a top sheet. That’s it. We found some blankets in the closet but they weren’t really enough. It was very, very cold at night.
It’s unfortunate because the property itself and the staff are lovely.

Es un espacio muy lindo. Las habitaciones tienen agua mineral y natural en un envase de vidrio lo cual da una impresión elegante, y también te regalan una galleta. Las camas son cómodas, el espacio es rústico y la ubicación es excelente, con un clima muy fresco. La única desventaja es que el WiFi solo está disponible en el lobby. El servicio excelente, muy amables.

Es un hotel rústico con espacios muy bonitos. La ubicación es excelente, el clima es agradable y pasa en frente el tren Chepe, lo cual hace una experiencia más interesante. Un lobby muy cómodo con mesa de billar y un espacio amplio. Tiene chimeneas.

Bien sin ser Excelente, no había nadie a la llegada que nos indicara donde estaba el lobby , la chica q nos atendió mal genio sin llegar a ser grosera , poco amable , nos tocó temperatura -4 grados , y no logramos encender el calenton, no había teléfono en la habitación para pedir ayuda y estaba lloviendo para salir y preguntar .
