I stayed at a hotel outside for 4 days and came back here. The common area is perfectly sunny and the BGM is good. It's also easy to get to, so I'd like to come back here again if I have the chance.

It was the first hostel in my life that I booked without any expectations, thinking I would just sleep, and I met some really good friends and had a great time!!
The interior of this place is very pretty, the reception is very friendly, they post events on the WhatsApp group, and there is a road trip QR on the bulletin board.

Amazing experience! Staff were so helpful. All spoke English and had recommendations of what to do Very chill vibes & Easy to meet people. Especially in the common area where people chill and cook! Very clean, rooms spacious, lovely big common area that you can easily work in all day.

Everyone, at least once in their lives, should be able to connect with people from all over the world in a pleasment, welcoming, dynamic and stimulating environment. The Cantagua encapsulates all of this. Not only for this but also is important to mention the impeccable cleanliness and room service. The staff organizes many activities and get-togethers that are great for spending afternoons and evenings with friends. I might have something to complain about the guy snoring as I write this review, but that's the beauty of sleeping in a hostel.

Muy bonito hostel. Tiene un concepto muy padre con muchas actividades para los que se hospeden allí. Nosotros nos quedamos en su cuarto privado Olivo. Eramos 4 personas, y nos dieron dos camas dobles que no estaban listas cuando llegamos pero fueron rápidos y eficientes cuando llegamos y nos las hicieron. Si esta un poco lejos del centro de valencia pero hay estaciones de autobuses y metro cercas que te lleva hacia el centro dela ciudad. Lo único que no fue de nuestro agrado fue que en nuestro baño privado había como 3 cucarachas. El primer dia que llegamos ya estaban allí en el baño y les tuvimos que decir a los encargados. Rápidamente llegaron a fumigar con un spray y sacar las cucarachas. Si nos mencionaron que era común por el calor y lo húmedo. Tuvimos que esperar como 15 minutos para que el olor del spray se fuera. Pero esa misma noche volvió a salir otra cucaracha en nuestro baño que la tuvimos que encerrar con un vaso porque ya era muy noche.

Great experience in this hostel. The staff is friendly and always approachable, the beds are comfortable and clean (and have curtains which is very important), and the place itself is cozy and has its own vibe. As for the guests, I met only nice and open people in my few days there so it's easy to socialize if you want. Definitely would recommend this hostel to anyone staying in Valencia.

The hostel is great in connecting everybody, because they have a group chat so it’s easier to connect with one another also they send recommendations in there so u know what there is happening in the city. Also they organize small dinners for a small price where everybody can meet. Around 8 in the morning the airco stops so it warmer in the room so u need to get the staff to turn it on again. And during the day it can get really hot in the common area unless u are oké with just sitting in front of a ventilator.. breakfast is really simple some slices of bread with jam/marmelade and 2 types of cereal so for me that would be something they could improve. But then again u can also make your own which is fine! Cause u can use the refrigerator and a basket to put your stuff in. Other then that I most definitely coming back here if I’m in Valencia.
