We stayed at this place from the 9th to the 13th of July, 2022. The location is in the centre of the city with the Kashi Vishwanath temple around a kilometer away. Transport of all types (cabs, autos, e-rickshaws) have easy access to Cozy Inn. The rooms are spacious, air-conditioned, and with attached toilets which are clean and well maintained. Moreover, the doors and walls of each room are decorated with tasteful Indian art, something which we found to be quite unique here. Food is prepared in the kitchen adjoining the dining area. Only vegetarian fare is served, and we found that the quality of the preparations was consistently wholesome and tasty - neither bland nor too spicy. The breakfast was very filling comprising two types of fruit, toast with butter and jam, one typical Indian item of the guest's choice (such as poha, poori sabzi, paratha, upma, etc.) ***** with tea / coffee. The hallmark of this lodge is the warm hospitality of the staff, particularly Mayur (the Manager) and Ravi (the cook). They not only catered to our taste buds, but also guided us regarding the most reliable shops where one could find the famed Benarasi sarees, good eateries around, etc. In fact, while planning our trip Mayur was always prompt to attend to our numerous queries, and he ensured that we got a very favourable deal not only for our stay, but also for the transport to pick us up from the railway station, local sightseeing including our trip to Sarnath, and even our boat ride to see the Ganga Aarti (the prayers offered on the banks of the Ganges river in the evening to see which thousands converge from all over the country and even abroad), We have no hesitation in recommending any visitor to the holy city of Varanasi to stay at Cozy Inn and enjoy the hospitality of Mayur and Ravi.
