This Gongxingshe Xichishanju is a perfect place to stay in XingPing, Yangshuo. It is conveniently located literally five min walk from the 20 yuan note scenery spot. The pier from where you can enjoy riding on a 4 seat tourist motor boat on the Li river (120 rmb/person) is also in a walking distance. There are many restaurants around but not so many convenient stores. The hotel has a little swimming pool outside, everything is so clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and really helpful. There is always a choice of hot and cold drinks at the lobby (instant coffee is provided, though). Breakfasts are simple but nourishing (Guilin rice noodles, bread, jam and butter, congee, mantou, dumplings, shaomai, fruit). I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone who seeks peace and comfort far away from the hustle and bustle of the West street.

This is the best homestay I have ever stayed in Yangshuo. It is located in the ancient banyan tree of Shili Gallery. It is very close to the Yulong River bamboo raft. When you open the window, you will have a river view. There are many things to eat on the roadside. The boss is very good. There is an electric car rental at his house, which is really super convenient for travel.

It looked quite new and the location was good, so I booked this one. What you see is what you get. It was pretty good. It was also very clean. The window was open to the beautiful Yangshuo mountain view. It was only a few minutes walk to the Yulong River. Most importantly, the owner was very nice. I recommend it.
