The food was perfectly nice and the staff pleasant. Lovely large bed. HOWEVER the number one motive to stay was a good night's sleep. By 5am the conservatory bedroom was bathed in morning sunshine making sleep impossible. It reassembled comfortable camping only with a £189 price tag.

Overall we were very pleased with the accommodation and food with the only downside was the heat build up to the first floor room and the relatively smaller double bed that we have experienced in your other hotels.

We paid a lot of money for our three night stay at this hotel. There was a large damp patch behind the TV, the paint and plaster was flaking off. The shower control unit was loose coming out of the wall. The choice of the continental breakfast was poor. I thought our evening meal was very overpriced. The location was nice, but attention to detail at the hotel let our mini break down. It was such a shame, as it could have been so much better

I really enjoyed my stay at the Kings Head Inn. The staff were friendly and the room was spotless. Good location near Roseberry Topping.

From start to finish, we had a wonderful time. Beautiful location with Roseberry topping just behind the hotel. All staff very friendly and made us feel welcome. Room lovely, clean and everything you needed. Food amazing, probably a little bit too big portion size for us, but can't fault it. Breakfast was just as good as the main meal. Would definitely recommend and return some day
