Keri Village Hotel is situated on a hilltop and is very remote. If you are someone that likes to retreat into the countryside and like to be isolated, then this is the place for you for that escapism. The views are stunning, panoramic views of the mountainous regions, the neighbouring hilltop village and the sea. There isn't much to do at the hotel other than laze around the pool all day. There are no direct hiking trails if you are feeling adventurous to walk down to the beach. There are direct windy hairpin roads to the beach but I wouldn't say it would be safe to walk up and down it as no footpaths. Plus it would be a trek particularly walking back uphill and in the blazing heat. The hotel runs a courtesy shuttle mini bus however to and from Keri Beach 4 times a day. Hotel pickups are 10am, 1pm, 3pm and 5.30pm. (Return pickups are approx 10.10, 1.10, 3.10 and 5.40). It only seats 8 passengers BUT the accommodating driver will put on additional shuttle runs to and back if there are more passengers. This is a godsend as there are no public transport that goes to the hotel. At Keri Beach there are car, quadbike, bike rentals though so there are options if you are prepared to want to drive or ride. The hotel itself , the accommodation is in chalet type buildings. Our room was basic but spotless. The domestics cleaned rooms with fresh towel changes daily. I would say the room we had requires modernisation to make it like a 4 star. The bathroom was generous in size but the shower was small. The bar area in my opinion requires a total refurbishment . It was somewhat soul-less but has great potential for upgrade investment. There is adequate A/C in the bedrooms and in the bar and restaurant. Food was of relative variety. Breakfast a choice of hot and cold food. Lunch and dinner again a variety. Salad bar, always a meat dish, vegetarian and fish. Then a couple of show cooking selections each day during lunch and dinner. If you are a vegan though, you will struggle and they don't have dairy free milk either. Greek night was one of the best and the bbq night. I would say overall the food was of reasonable quality. As with most A/I, the alcohol is non branded. They serve a selection of cocktails at the pool bar during the day and the indoor bar in the evening. They have beer and wine dispensers but the quality was poor. I stuck with cocktails of which in my opinion some were quite strong. You are provided with plastic bottles in your room on arrival so you can simply fill them up with water in the restaurant or any selection of their soft drinks etc. The filter coffee from the machine wasn't too bad but they also had individual coffee sachets if preferred along with a small selection of teas including herbal. This hotel daily has continued departures and arrivals so there is constantly different guests arriving each day or leaving. We never had any issue of getting a sunbed regardless of time and we didn't see anyon
