The room is large, but since it is an old hotel, the bathroom is small and smells a bit. Breakfast is a specialty of Jinling. It is very rich. The noodle stalls include fried fish and braised meat, and the cold dishes include beef and jellyfish. Although it is the Spring Festival, since Zhangjiagang is not a popular city, the hotel does not increase the price. There is welcome fruit every day, 2 bottles of drinks in the small refrigerator are free, and 2 bottles of homemade yogurt are given as a gift on the day of check-out. The service attitude is very good and the hotel is very cost-effective. It should be noted that the height limit of underground garages is 1.6.

The suite room I booked is spacious, clean and hygienic. The food in the Chinese restaurant is delicious. Customers' needs are met and the response is quick. Overall, I am quite satisfied with everything. The price/performance ratio is quite high. I will recommend it to my friends.

Zhonglian GDH Hotel - finally back after 4 years. 8 nights in room 1718 ”Deluxe Queen”, at the back. Reasonably quiet this time, probably due to the lack of traffic and fewer guests - meaning less banging doors. Very dark. Bed was actually a king size and wasn't too firm. I slept well most nights. International power points with USB ports. Adjustable and very cold aircon had no trouble in the 36C heat. Good water pressure with rain and hand showers. No bath. Some marks on the carpet and chair upholstery. Good buffet breakfast with eggs to order. Chinese bacon. Baked beans some mornings. Lots of sweet options and pastries and several types of fresh fruits such as watermelon, dragonfruit and pineapple. Automatic coffee machine coffee that was almost drinkable on a couple of mornings but mostly bad. I really enjoyed the room service shrimp fried rice on several nights and there is a new McDonald's and KFC close by. Almost no english tv channels. No smart tv. I have stayed here many times over the last decade but this time the GDH was very quiet with me being the only westerner that I saw in the hotel on most days. Not sure if the new Marriott has caused this. Lovely help from the customer service managers- even helping me order online food since I don't read Chinese and everything is now done by an app. Limited internet access in Jiangsu that blocked my Gmail, even though I could download it in Zhejiang. One day my webmail was also totally blocked but mysteriously became accessible again the next.

I came here for an exam. The location is good. There is a shopping mall nearby and there are many places to eat. The room is quite big, but the air conditioning is not very good. It is a bit cold at night. You need to swipe your card to go upstairs. If you order takeout, you can go downstairs to get it. There is a good wifi signal.

I came back to Zhangjiagang from the United States and stayed in the Executive Deluxe Suite on the 35th floor of Zhangjiagang Marriott Hotel. It is worthy of being the best hotel in Zhangjiagang. The afternoon tea and evening cocktails in the Executive Lounge are great! There are also many choices for free breakfast for guests of the Executive Suite. The room is very large, and the whole wall of floor-to-ceiling glass has a wide view. 5-star praise. I will stay here next time!

I didn't expect surprises one after another: the hotel's lakeside trail has beautiful scenery, and the elastic running track is very friendly to running enthusiasts; bottled water placed at the exit of the elevator on the floor can meet the needs at any time; my family has high requirements for bedding, and I didn't see the introduction of mattresses and bedding in the hotel introduction. I was also worried that there would be no latex pillows. As a result, the King Koil mattress is matched with a feather mattress, and there is a special menu for guests to choose from; the bathroom sanitary ware is very well maintained, and the toilet has also been upgraded to a smart toilet; the buffet breakfast also has tofu pudding in a wooden barrel, and the Chinese breakfast products are very suitable for Chinese stomachs. In addition, the hotel called to inquire about the check-in requirements the day before check-in, meeting my requirements for different room types to be close to each other, and upgrading to a lake view room, which is an absolutely perfect check-in experience. When you come to Zhangjiagang, I strongly recommend Shazhou Lake Hotel. It is suitable for visiting relatives and friends and vacationing. It only takes half an hour to reach any scenic spot in Zhangjiagang.

Except that the hotel is located in a small area and there is not much parking space, everything else is good. The hotel is new and clean, the service attitude of the lady at the front desk is super good, the twin room has two 1.35-meter beds, which is also very nice, and the free laundry service is also very good. Two breakfasts are included with the booking, and we are two adults and one child, and we didn't ask for extra money. The latest check-out time is 3 o'clock, which is also great. Finally, I have a small suggestion for improvement, that is, it is recommended that the room include a large non-woven or plastic bag like other hotels, on which the hotel name can be printed, so that it is convenient for travelers to pack dirty clothes, and it can also play a promotional role. At the end of the check-out, the lady at the front desk also gave a small gift. Although it is not a valuable thing, it reflects the hotel's thoughtfulness.

Because I am a gold member of InterContinental, I chose to stay at the Holiday Inn Express Chengdong when passing through Zhangjiagang during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays. Overall, I was very satisfied. The day of check-in was the Mid-Autumn Festival, and the location was not close to tourist attractions, so there were not many guests that night. The car could be parked in the inner courtyard behind the hotel. The space was very empty. It would be better if it could be equipped with charging piles (I took a tram). The hotel's service level has maintained the high standards of the Intercontinental Group. Children's toiletries and evening restaurant snack experience coupons are provided to the children when they check in. In addition, the lobby is also equipped with toys and chess and cards that children like, and the front desk also provides fruits before leaving. Overall, It is said that it is the most satisfactory among the many Holiday Inn Express hotels I have stayed at. I will choose it again next time I pass by.
