We have a bad experience with the taxi driver, he actually went pass the location of the hotel and just drop us off and ask us to walk lucky enough we know how to use the local direction app. When we reach at the hotel reception, we also has a bad encounter with the receptionist call ****, when we ask her about the map of the town , she advise she do not know , but worse off all , she serve the person behind me and answer call , and let me stand there without attending and finish off the stay in process. Disrespectful and bad attitude. Anyway her action was apologized by the room care taker and the manager. The manager give us the map and advise us places to go around.
The place we stay is convenient to get food to eat. Small town , good for mountain hiking. The place is commercially made to attract tourist .

Highly recommend this place! The service was impeccable. Concierge was extremely friendly and helpful. We didn't have a local number, so we relied on them to communicate with our next hotel even after leaving the hotel. They were amazing!
Room was clean and comfortable, spacious and beautiful! Waking up to the mountain scenary was amazing. The hotel was very near the park too, just 5 mins away. There are food and convenience store downstairs so you'll never go hungry. Overall 100/10!

Convenient location, very near to cableway which makes it very preferable to stay at this place. Worth the price, and really helpful staff. It is situated at walking distance from the cableway so when you return back from tianmen mountain, it is very helpful and relaxing to have your hotel just next to the cableway station. And restaurants are very nearby, walkable distance for everything. Also, very close to 72 storey building.

Place was great, clean and modern right next to the train station with amazing views however I was lucky to find it (there was a woman who knew the owner who happened to be moving some bags and he came down to meet me) If you’re a westerner, I wouldn’t recommend.
If you do decide to give it a go, maps takes you to a load of shops. Walk past the shops on your left and go into the housing no estate through the gate on your left. You’ll be faced with loads of tower blocks. Go to building 10 and then up to floor 20 in the lift. I’m not sure what you’d do if the apartment door is closed because there is no phone number on the door and it requires a code but maybe he leaves it open? Not sure! Also, ignore the photo that someone helpfully put on here, it’s the wrong place…

I traveled to Wulingyuan Scenic Area in Zhangjiajie with my family and stayed at Sijilai Xipan Hotel. The experience was perfect. From the boss to the front desk lady and even the cleaning aunt, the service is warm and the guests are treated with smiles, making them feel like they are in the spring breeze. The hotel hardware is also very good, the rooms are spacious and bright, the clothes are clean, and the price is high. There are three things that impressed me: First, the lady at the front desk will introduce and plan the tour route in detail according to the needs of each batch of guests, which is equivalent to tailor-made, timely and practical. Second, you just need to say hello, and the store will arrange a pick-up from the hotel to the sign gate of the scenic spot in time, and the boss and wife will drive in person. Third, the hotel will provide seasonal fruit plates to guests every night, which is exquisite and luxurious, full of heart.

The hotel is exceptionally good. The location is near to the East Gate of Zhang Jia Jie National Park Entrance. The food served by the hotel is authentic local food.
But what impressed me is the services provided by the hotel. Mr Hu and his team is exceptional in provided the utmost best service. From the advice provided to us for the potential route to take in the national park to the arrangement of transport to and fro of your destination. He will make sure what you asked for are delivered.
In our last day, my wife left her cap in the taxi. He arranged personally for the taxi to U turn to send the cap back to us at no additional costs. We were really impressed with the hotel amenities and their services.

Helpful and friendly staff. We asked them to help to plan our itinerary for 3 days zjj stay. They can also have to purchase entrance and ride tickets with slight discount. The eryatou inn is very accessible and situated a 5 minute walk from zhangjiajie national park. I took a didi down from the railway station. It was very clean and comfortable stay. There’s heated water and daily housekeeping (disposable toothbrush refill etc). There’s a daily night market that opens in the evening outside their inn. The street food is pretty great!
The ladies at eryatou inn were very welcoming and great hosts. They provided a map for the attractions, gave good recommendations on the route to take based on the attractions that i wanted to visit at the zhangjiajie national park and tianmen mountain. They also helped to book tickets at discounted prices based on their connections.
They also sell coffee and tea in their inn, and give a complimentary mini tea snack upon purchase of their coffee / tea.
Overall, a very pleasant stay and would recommend this place for a stay.

The room and the view is really great. It is big and comfortable. The bed and pillow are soft and comfortable that you can truly relax after the whole day of the mountain.
The location is nice. Just 5 mins walk to zimagang (southern entrance) with great view. You can also take Didi (taxi) from Wulingyuan town too. It will take around 30 mins and costs you around 40RMB.
The staff are nice in picking us up from the train station and dropped us at Tianmen cable way before our departure. They help with all the ticket and guide us the way to all attraction.
The big improvement they need is the cleanliness of other part of the hotel. The swimming pool was dirty - the water was not clear and I don't think guests will use it. The floor around the main building (reception and dining room) seems a bit oily.

Li Yan at the front desk was outstanding. She called us before our arrival to confirm our travel plans, ensuring everything went smoothly.
When the toilet clogged in our room, she personally came and resolved the issue within minutes, handling it with professionalism.
She helped us arrange tickets and car rides to all the country parks seamlessly.
The team accommodated us even after checkout, allowing the four of us to use the shower even after our check out.
Overall, the staff was very friendly and attentive to all our needs. There’s even a friendly dog at the reception to greet and play with you upon arrival.
My friends and I had a great time at Wangyun and would recommend it to anyone visiting the Wulingyuan area. The only downside was that the room corners could be slightly cleaner, but it wasn’t too noticeable. Beds were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was basic but delicious and healthy.

TThereseWe had a very nice stay, we stayed 3 people in one room. The room we stayed in was very big and had its own unique style. It was very clean. The hotel is very close to the South Gate of the park. It's a little hidden away from the road, but they were very quick to come and pick us up and drove us to the park entrance every day free of charge. Breakfast eggs come from free range chicken on the ground and they were excellent. Over all the food was very good. It's a small hotel run by a family and they are all very nice and helpful with planning your stay. Location is beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay.

The staff at the hotel were amazing. They were happy to help with anything we needed and went above and beyond. They wrote us a full plan for our day at Zhangjiajie and assisted us with anything we needed. Foreigner friendly and extremely helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Mmin yiNo. 5 has a holiday home vibe situated atop a hill with a fantastic view of the valley, especially during sunset. The location of the inn may be a little concerning (when we took the didi into the place the driver looked at us weird), but rest assure that the ZJJ Forest park is still extremely accesible. No. 5 provides a transfer service to the West gate, along with a plan of how to explore the forest park that is different from the rest of the visitors as you will be exploring the park starting from the opposite end of the park. Rain also very kindly helped to booked the entrance tickets on behalf of us as we did not have access to a local number.
Everything was dealt with professionalism in a Wechat group, from reservations for dinner, to kindly removing a bug from our abode. The room was very clean and our consumables were stocked daily. Food choices are limited at the restaurant but every dish that we had at the inn was quite decent. We were able to order from the menu at least an hour in advance and when we arrive at the restaurant, the food was already set out on the table. 10/10. Facilities are adequate, with the exception of a slightly sluggish drainage system, but the design of the dry and wet toilet managed the problem fairly well.
Expect to book a transfer service out of the inn, though, as the location is distal from the usual tourist crowds.
No.5 also provides activities for when you feel like staying in, such as baking cookies, making scent packets and other interesting activities. The highlight of the inn though, has to be Yang Ma, the resident tea lady. She makes fantastic tea on request whenever she can, and the tea tastes amazing.
The view, tea, and good service from No.5 makes this place an interesting choice for a slow paced holiday.

GGuest UserThis time, I was very happy to stay at Qiman. It was a highlight of our trip to Zhangjiajie besides the scenic spot. After booking, the housekeepers Xiao Huang and Xiao Xiao contacted us in time to arrange the pick-up, and sent us the itinerary planning and travel suggestions. After checking in, they took us to visit the room, helped us upgrade the room type, explained the travel strategy to us in detail again, and made adjustments according to the weather and our needs, and took us to taste the local specialty berry tea. The driver, Master Hu, picked us up and dropped us off at the middle gate of Zhangjiajie Forest Park every day, and set off at any time according to our time. It was very comfortable to chat. Every day, breakfast and dinner are also very delicious. The aunties in the restaurant are also very cute and will give us a little spicy. When the weather is good, they will help us set up dinner outdoors before we return to the B&B. The atmosphere is super good! We were also given roselle tea on the night before leaving. Every day when we leave and come back to see the staff, they will greet us intimately about how the game is, which is super warm, and we also have a good chat with the two owners of the B&B! We are very satisfied with this B&B as a whole. The room is clean and cleaned in time, the service is warm and thoughtful, and we try our best to meet our various needs. The room design and supplies are very tasteful, the mattress is very comfortable, and the bathtub is fully utilized during the days of walking 20,000 steps every day. While providing accommodation and rest, I also made good friends. I will come again if I have the chance!

He can help get tickets with a discount and provide instructions to the complicated park. Close to many food options as well, which give a small discount when you show your room card. Highly recommended if you're a smart traveller who wants to maximise your time in the park efficiently.

The 24/7 attention was impeccable, and the beautiful location and facilities added to the charm of the resort, we got a feeling of Avatar 2.0
One highlight was the great variety offered at breakfast, which we thoroughly enjoyed each morning. Both of the resort’s restaurants served excellent food, adding to our overall dining pleasure.

PPENELOPE KAYI booked this hotel for my mom since my husband and I stayed there a few years ago and had an amazing experience. However, she said that no one would speak to her in any English (when we were there, everyone was very helpful and the manager was foreign).
She also had a bad experience with a massage she booked. She thought she could charge it to the room, but the woman demanded cash, then once she paid, wouldn’t let her out of the room until she gave an extra tip. Apparently that was the only word she said in English the whole time. I’ve never been expected to tip in China, so this seems like they’re taking advantage of foreign guests who may not know better.
The hotel is very conveniently located within walking distance of the national park, but the concierge tried to get her to take a taxi for way too much to a different gate. Luckily, she called me to ask if that was worth it and I told her, “no, don’t take a ¥50 taxi to another gate when you’re less than 1km from one of the main gates.” It just made her start to feel uncomfortable that everyone in the hotel was trying to trick her.
It’s a shame because the hotel is lovely and the breakfast is actually quite good, which my mom said is still the case. But she had a very mixed experience where the hotel was great, but the staff didn’t make her feel well taken care of. Very different from my husband’s and my experience a few years ago.

The places to eat and convenience stores nearby are also very convenient.
