This is an apartment building where different hotel operators take out different floors and we stay at the 10th floor facing the cable car base station (felt so safe staying here knowing where you should go for your journey to Tianmendong on the next day ). My room has a gorgeous view of the mountain ranges further away. It was such an awesome moment to watch an intense sunset with the sky turning from Orange to pink and yellow. Bedsheets and big towels were clean and comfortable
On a separate note, I later realised those avatar peaks are all inside ZJJ national park some 1 hour away (separate zone). The famous Tianmendong near to this hotel turned out to be rather touristy and lesser iconic and I will choose to skip when I come back again

I loved my stay at the Mansion Inn Dream Mansion. My room was incredibly comfortable, with a stunning view of the cableway station, the city, and the beautiful mountains lining the skyline. The bed was exceptionally cozy, and the room was filled with adorable, thoughtful, and fun touches . From yummy snacks to high-quality skincare products, every detail was designed to make guests feel pampered and at home. The staff were so sweet and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure a wonderful stay, even allowing me to store my luggage after checkout so I could explore Tianmen Mountain.
If you’re visiting Zhangjiajie, I can’t recommend the Mansion Inn Dream Mansion enough. The combination of comfort, ideal location, exceptional service, and great value makes this hotel a great pick.

During our stay, the front desk truly impressed us with their exceptional support. We were thrilled by the complimentary room upgrades and laundry services that made our experience even better. The cleanliness of our accommodations was remarkable, and although the location was a bit far from the National Park, it didn’t detract from our enjoyment. Our only minor concern was the presence of smokers in the corridor, which was a bit bothersome. However, the staff promptly addressed the situation, demonstrating their commitment to guest satisfaction.

Inn is in good location with cable car station and local bus stop to visiting sites within walking distance.
Many local eateries and convenience shops within few minutes walking. There is also a good massage center in next lane. But, don’t expect any shopping mall here. It’s more like a small resort place.
Overall, value for money but during winter season room can be damn cold albeit electric heat up mat and water heater are provided.

Our stay was amazing! We stayed in two double rooms and the room was beautiful, very cute and clean, and the location is very close to Tian Men Mountain so it was very convenient to travel. Best of all was our host, who was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and helped us figure out tickets and itinerary throughout our full trip. He was readily available to help whenever needed and was incredibly friendly and kind, offering snacks and tea. If we had any issues or questions, he replied very quickly and was very patient with our subpar Chinese. This hotel and stay was amazing, thank you!

I highly recommend this accommodation. First off, the location is great. It is just a few minutes away on foot from the Tianmen cable station and the Zhangjiajie Central Bus Station. There are also many restaurants and stores near the place which are all at cheap or reasonable prices.
In terms of the room, what you see on the photos posted on the app is what you get. No pretensions. The room is more than enough for me — it’s very tidy, beddings are fresh, toilet is clean and spacious, and the aircon is working perfectly well (aircon seems new).
But what’s best about this place are the owners. They are very accommodating, friendly, and extremely helpful. They booked everything for me at good discounts - the Zhangjiajie National Forest, the Tianmen Mountain, and the Fox Fairy Show. They also cooked delicious dinner for us, upon our request, even though they don’t really sell food for their guests.
Overall, my experience was great! I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I’m very lucky I got to stay here. Will definitely stay here again next time I go back to ZJJ!

Please note it does not have Mountain View as advertised, but the hotel is stunning.
Tip for my fellow travelers: try the small family owned buffet restaurant for only 13 yuan (!!) per person. The ladies are the sweetest (it is on the left street as you walk out of the hotel, next to the big restaurant, before the corner fruit shop).

We came from wulingyuan by bus & stop just few steps from this hotel, very easy to find it. The room & toilet are very clean & comfortable, the white spot in the bathroom is the motif of the stone. The projector TV is very big. We can wash our clothes free. All the stuff work very well.
The location is very convenient there are a lot of restaurants surround it & walk just about 3-5 minutes to the Tian Men Shan Gate. In the evening we go to 72 wonder tower 七十二奇樓 by no 17 bus in the other side of the hotel & come back also by that bus & stop in front of the hotel. The third day we left for Fenghuang anxient city by train and again we go there by no 17 bus until the last station (west train station), we only spend rmb 4 for 2 person. The price of the hotel is cheap with all the facilities we get. The man in the front desk, we guess he is the owner, is very humble & kind. We are very satisfied staying there, Recommended hotel for whoever will come to ZhangJiaJie.

The rooms are beautiful, overlooking the cable car. The rooms were spacious for 2 people, clean and had hot water. There is no fridge in the room though. We noticed some noise in the night which sounded like it came from upstairs, sound like people moving furniture and it disturbed our sleep for 2 nights. We brought it under the night manager’s attention, who put in the effort to go upstairs and look, but said there’s nobody upstairs. It was tried to be resolved but still it kept on bothering us. Generally, we still had a good stay.
Be aware, that hotel doesn’t have an English logo. Just go to the entrance in the middle of building and take elevator to the floor 13A.

GGuest UserA very happy and leisurely trip to Zhangjiajie. Shuiyong Jinjiang B&B added a touch of beauty to our trip. The owner and staff of the B&B were very friendly and upgraded our room for free. The B&B itself is also very beautiful, as if in a paradise of harmony and tranquility. We experienced sunny, cloudy and rainy days during our 3-day stay, and the scenery presented by the B&B was different, especially on rainy days, like a fairyland. The most important thing is that the food in the B&B is very delicious, and the owner has always insisted on growing organic vegetables, pigs, cattle and sheep at home. If you have time, you can also experience Tujia costume shooting in the B&B. Recommended!

Before check-in, we arranged a pick-up service from the train station to the guesthouse via WeChat. TThereseWe had a very nice stay, we stayed 3 people in one room. The room we stayed in was very big and had its own unique style. It was very clean. The hotel is very close to the South Gate of the park. It's a little hidden away from the road, but they were very quick to come and pick us up and drove us to the park entrance every day free of charge. Breakfast eggs come from free range chicken on the ground and they were excellent. Over all the food was very good. It's a small hotel run by a family and they are all very nice and helpful with planning your stay. Location is beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Upon arriving at the inn, I was greeted by Wu, whose warm and welcoming demeanor immediately put me at ease. He seemed to sense that I needed more than just a room; I needed an escape, a way to reconnect with nature and find peace amidst my worries. Wu went above and beyond, providing me with a hand-drawn map of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and crafting a personalized itinerary that perfectly suited my pace and interests.
Wu’s local insights were invaluable. He knew the park like the back of his hand and took the time to highlight lesser-known trails and viewpoints that offered stunning vistas without the crowds. His suggestions were exactly what I needed—places where I could take in the breathtaking beauty of the park and reflect, without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
The inn itself was cozy and felt like a home away from home. Each evening, after a day of exploring, I returned to a warm and comfortable space that offered solace and tranquility. The location of the inn was ideal, nestled close enough to the park to make early starts easy, yet far enough away to provide a quiet retreat.
During my two-day tour of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, I experienced moments of pure awe that felt almost like a healing process. Standing at the edge of towering cliffs, surrounded by the iconic sandstone pillars, I found a sense of peace that had eluded me in the sterile environment of hospital rooms and medical appointments. One highlight was the great variety offered at breakfast, which we thoroughly enjoyed each morning. Both of the resort’s restaurants served excellent food, adding to our overall dining pleasure.

GGuest UserI had a great experience at this hostel in Wulingyuan! The location is perfect—right near the entrance to the national park and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and food stalls, which made it super convenient.
The host was amazing! When I asked for a different room due to some loud snorers in my original room, they were really understanding and helped me move right away, which made a big difference in my stay. Plus, the host’s dog is super cute. Highly recommend this place!
