"This was my first time staying at the Pan Pacific, and the location is fantastic. It's right next to Jin'gang Bridge, very easy to find. In the evenings, you can easily walk to the Tianjin Eye, and it's also close to Shizilin Bridge. Guests get free parking; just register your license plate when you check in. The attendant at the entrance even helped us find a spot next to a water feature – once we parked, we didn't want to move the car! We were there over the May Day holiday, and the roads were incredibly busy, so we relied on taxis and shared bikes for getting around Tianjin, which was super convenient. There's a good variety of complimentary fruits available for guests next to the front desk, self-serve. Kurt Han at the front desk was exceptionally nice and provided wonderful, thoughtful service. Seeing that I was traveling with my family, he proactively upgraded us to a seventh-floor apartment suite. The room was incredibly spacious, felt newly renovated, and was very well-equipped. I especially loved that the hairdryer was a Laifen – it worked wonderfully. The hotel's hand soap also smelled great, with a subtle, pleasant fruity scent and no chemical smell. The water pressure and temperature at both the sink and in the shower were perfect, making for a very comfortable shower. The air conditioning was excellent and cooled the room down very quickly (don't underestimate good AC; it's a lifesaver for people who get hot easily!). Although we couldn't open the windows, the air in the room felt fresh, with no unpleasant odors. I had expected the hallways to be a bit noisy during the May Day holiday due to the high number of guests (plus two wedding banquets), and with so many people coming and going, it's usually unavoidable. However, both nights we stayed were surprisingly quiet, which made me really happy. The room was cleaned immaculately every day – absolutely spotless. The housekeeping attendant even left a small gift and a thoughtful note, which was a lovely touch. All in all, I will definitely choose this hotel again next time, and I'll recommend it to my family too. It truly exceeded my expectations!"

"The hotel was very easy to spot; I found it right outside the subway exit, which made getting around incredibly convenient. The front desk staff, both the young man and young woman, on the evening of the 10th from 7:00 PM to 9:20 PM, provided excellent service! 👍"

"The Astor Hotel is absolutely stunning! My parents and I stayed for two nights and honestly, we didn't want to leave. It was their first time visiting Tianjin, and staying in a hotel with such a rich history and cultural heritage felt incredibly special. Our room, despite its age, was meticulously clean and decorated so charmingly, every photo we took looked straight out of an old vintage movie. We stayed in both a balcony room and a non-balcony room, and each had its own charm. The balcony room was smaller, perfect for one person, but had the largest terrace where you could enjoy the street views up close, breathe in the Tianjin air, and even hear the park-goers playing their instruments, haha! The non-balcony room was much more spacious, feeling huge even for my parents, they could practically run circles in it! Some of the furniture showed a bit of wear due to age, but that's part of staying in a historic hotel, and it was perfectly acceptable. The hotel's current top-up gift offer is a fantastic deal, and I'm already looking forward to my next stay in Tianjin. Highly recommend, 10/10!"

"The location is excellent, making it incredibly convenient to visit the Tianjin Eye, take the sightseeing bus, go on a Haihe River cruise, and see the Shizilin Bridge – all within walking distance. There's also a very popular restaurant downstairs, and plenty of other dining options nearby. The room was comfortable, clean, and hygienic. The chair in the room was exceptionally comfortable, with a reversible backrest that made it great to lean against. The bedding was also good, ensuring a great night's sleep. While there was a slight issue with soundproofing, it was within an acceptable range. The service was great; the staff were friendly and responsible. They helped us install a safety rail, and when our portable toilet seat was too small, the front desk provided a suitable one. My child also loved the little robot that delivered water."

"The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the subway station, just a short walk away. During holidays, the surrounding area is often subject to traffic control, so taking public transport is definitely the way to go. However, there aren't many staff at the front desk, and their capacity to handle guests is limited. Every time I needed to ask a question or get something done, I had to wait in line, which was quite chaotic and stressful. On the first day, I tried to check in around 3 or 4 PM, but the room was still being cleaned, so I had to wait again. Luckily, they offer luggage storage, and there's a public restroom on the first floor. The room itself is quite spacious, with a small table and a sofa. There are plenty of places to eat and shop nearby, and food delivery is also very convenient, with robots bringing orders right to your room. However, the soundproofing isn't great. I could hear deliveries being made late into the night and the clunky sound of carts rolling over the uneven floor in the hallway."

"This is my third stay here, and I absolutely love the heated towel rack! The hotel is located right at the entrance of the Italian Style Street, just a short walk to the Haihe River, making the location absolutely superb! Downstairs, there's delicious shaved ice, and there are many shopping malls nearby, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. Highly, highly, highly recommend!"

"For our family's Tianjin trip during the Spring Festival, we decided to try out this newly opened hotel. Its location is absolutely central, and we went in with a 'blind box' attitude, eager to experience it. The guest rooms are on incredibly high floors, from the 47th to the 50th, with breakfast served on the 51st. It’s perfect for those who love high-altitude views. Unfortunately, it was cloudy for the entire three days and two nights of our stay, so the visibility wasn't great. However, the night light show was still quite impressive. It starts around 6:30 PM (I didn't catch the end time), with all the surrounding high-rises lighting up in unison – it felt almost like Manhattan! The twin rooms on the 50th floor can be combined, but they are limited. Once combined, they are incredibly spacious and comfortable. For an adult with two kids over seven, sleeping was completely stress-free. The beds had a decent firmness. Given Hampton’s focus on business travel, I expected nothing less in terms of comfort. The shower water pressure was good, with plenty of hot water. The toothbrushes and disposable slippers were thoughtfully categorized as 'A' and 'B'. However, the toilet isn't smart, so those accustomed to heated seats might need a slight adjustment. The towels were clearly new, wonderfully soft and fluffy, and the custom logo definitely enhanced the brand's style. On the other hand, some of the bedding linen, especially the pillowcases, seemed to be reused. My pillowcase, in particular, showed signs of wear and tear. I hope the hotel will update these in the future. Some of the room's design details were excellent. For instance, after turning off all the lights, the toilet has a nightlight, which is very convenient for elderly guests and children who need to use the restroom at night. There's also a nightlight and a spotlight that you can easily find even with your eyes closed. Each room has a small sofa equipped with an eye-friendly desk lamp. Next to the TV, there's a magnetic board with four fridge magnets – I wonder where I can buy these souvenirs? The complimentary water was JingTian brand, which is a noticeable upgrade in quality. The TV was convenient for watching news, which was a plus for us traveling with older family members. The breakfast was standard, nothing extraordinary, but I personally felt it offered good value for money, aligning well with the Hampton brand. The biggest takeaway from this experience was the hotel's prime location. The Italian Style Street, Five Avenues, and all the famous core areas of Tianjin are nearby. We just parked our car in the underground garage, and our family seamlessly transitioned into city walk mode without any hassle. The garage height is 2 meters, so even a Tall Mountain 8 (a type of SUV) would fit without issues. There are charging stations at Maoye Plaza and nearby, which is very convenient. The hotel lobby lounge area is spacious and offers tea and biscuits. There were quite a few guests, especially families with children. During our stay, the soundproofing was decent, and we didn't experience much disturbance. The building's main lobby has a 7-Eleven, a Luckin Coffee, and a lottery ticket vendor, all very convenient. The room service was excellent. The housekeeping staff would proactively ask if we needed anything cleaned or replenished if they saw us heading out. They were also generous with bottled water refills, which is great because the central air conditioning can make the room dry – staying hydrated is important. It seems their hotel robots are among the busiest! The front desk service also left a deep impression on me. I booked quite early and had a special request for two rooms with combined beds. The front desk contacted me before check-in, and even on the second day, when a room became available, they asked if I wanted to switch. I was touched that they remembered such a small note, especially during the busiest Spring Festival period. It made our whole family feel very warm and cared for. Thanks to this hotel, our family's Spring Festival holiday ended perfectly. I highly recommend this hotel as a base for families looking to explore Tianjin."

"This hotel is super convenient, right near the subway station. Plus, across the street in Aocheng, there are tons of great little shops to discover. The hotel itself is incredibly new and spotless, with smart controls everywhere. The lights even turn on automatically if you get up in the middle of the night, which is a lifesaver for anyone afraid of the dark! The cleaning staff does an amazing job daily, and the front desk ladies are incredibly friendly and responsive to any questions or issues. All in all, a fantastic stay!"

"The biggest advantage of Langlitz Xiaobailou Metro Station store is its excellent location, making it super convenient for tourists. The subway station is right in front, and it's a short walk to China's first Western restaurant, Kiessling's main branch – make sure to go early for a meal! The Kiessling pastry and bread shop next door is perfect for souvenirs to take home to friends and family. Nearby, Tianjin No. 1 Restaurant offers local seafood and dumplings, and it's a popular spot for locals. The hotel is also very close to the Haihe River; a stroll down Jiefangbei Road from the hotel offers stunning night views. The European-style old buildings extend all the way to Jiefang Bridge, which is historically significant as the point where the People's Liberation Army entered Tianjin. The Tianjin Club, a local favorite for Western dining, is also nearby. The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating, allowing us a late check-out which was great for resting before our train. The hotel facilities are complete and modern, featuring smart toilets with heated seats and heated clothes racks. The pillows are comfortable, with two types to choose from. You can even see the night view of the Haihe River from the window. Overall, it was a very satisfying two-night, three-day trip to Tianjin."

"The best hotel I've ever stayed in!! Had a fantastic time in Tianjin, and the comfort level was off the charts. Location: It's just one subway stop from Tianjin Station, and about a 5-8 minute walk from the nearest subway exit. The hotel is near Jinwan Plaza, so it's super easy to take a short walk there in the evening and enjoy the gorgeous night views. It's also very close to many popular attractions. Hotel Facilities: On the first floor, there's a 'treasure box' with various items you can help yourself to, including but not limited to: earplugs, sewing kits, masks, cotton swabs, hair ties, dental floss, and so much more. The room is fully smart, with all switches controlled from the bedside. What's really worth mentioning is the abundance of female-friendly amenities, such as disposable mouthwash, complimentary facial towels, body lotion with the toiletries, and a retractable magnifying mirror in the bathroom. Cleanliness: Just having wooden floors instead of carpet already makes it better than most hotels. The hygiene is absolutely impeccable. The mini-fridge even comes stocked with complimentary drinks. The room's soft furnishings are also incredibly comfortable. And now for the highlight: the service is simply amazing! Every single front desk staff member, both the young men and women, was incredibly patient. For laundry service, they come right to your door; you just need to leave your clothes outside and tell the front desk, which is super convenient. What truly blew me away was when I accidentally entered the wrong room number for my food delivery, and they actually helped me reorder it! I'm so, so grateful. I'm so glad I ultimately chose this hotel after much deliberation. Wishing the hotel great success, and I look forward to seeing you again!"
