"I was really happy with the room – it was clean, tidy, and very spacious. The location is excellent. I stayed for one night during the Qingming holiday and explored Tianjin. I tried some local restaurants nearby like 'Bada Wan', 'Dafu Lai', and 'Jincai Diancang' – they were all very unique, but the portions were huge, so I couldn't finish everything. This hotel is also very close to the Yongle Ferry Terminal. I walked over and took the 6:30 PM boat tour, which allowed me to see both the daytime scenery and the night light show. It was much cheaper than the later night tours. The hotel breakfast was just okay, not a huge variety. Parking at the hotel is convenient. Overall, it's highly recommended. I've been to Tianjin many times, and I always leave with a great impression."

Anyone traveling with luggage will understand how invaluable this is!!! It's just one subway stop to Tianjin Station, and you can even walk to the Century Clock from there. It's also super convenient for visiting other nearby attractions, and you don't even need to transfer to get to Tianjin South Railway Station."

Across the road from Kiessling is Xiaobailou (White House). From Xiaobailou, heading north, you'll find Wudadao (Five Avenues), with numerous century-old Western-style buildings all around. "This was my second stay here, and it was just as great as the first. First off, the location is fantastic – really easy to get to, right by the Hai River with beautiful views. Many attractions are within walking distance. Second, they have plenty of parking, both above and underground. Third, the restaurant downstairs is delicious; I go every time, though it does get busy, so you might have a wait if you go too late. Fourth, the hotel is clean and well-maintained, and the room layout and amenities are excellent. Fifth, the breakfast is very good, and the staff provide great service. Overall, it's excellent value for money."

It's clearly a newer hotel, opened in recent years, with modern facilities. There's absolutely no old or worn-out feeling.
The large floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides of the corner room are a highlight, though it's a pity that the TV table obstructs the view a bit too much. A smaller table would offer an even better panorama.
Breakfast offers a rich variety, with all sorts of desserts, fruits, and drinks. The 'dalumian' (noodle dish with gravy) and 'jianbing guozi' (savory crepes) are also very fragrant. The menu changes daily.
The front desk staff are enthusiastic, and parking is convenient.
More importantly, the location is superb. From my room, I could see many attractions, such as the Tianjin Eye and Jinwan Plaza.
I will definitely come back again."

The hotel itself is incredibly new and spotless, with smart controls everywhere. The lights even turn on automatically if you get up in the middle of the night, which is a lifesaver for anyone afraid of the dark! "The biggest advantage of Langlitz Xiaobailou Metro Station store is its excellent location, making it super convenient for tourists. The Kiessling pastry and bread shop next door is perfect for souvenirs to take home to friends and family. Nearby, Tianjin No. 1 Restaurant offers local seafood and dumplings, and it's a popular spot for locals. The hotel is also very close to the Haihe River; a stroll down Jiefangbei Road from the hotel offers stunning night views. The European-style old buildings extend all the way to Jiefang Bridge, which is historically significant as the point where the People's Liberation Army entered Tianjin. The Tianjin Club, a local favorite for Western dining, is also nearby. The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating, allowing us a late check-out which was great for resting before our train. "I have stayed in many 5 star hotels and recently in an elite executive suite on a river cruise but have never experienced the incredibly thoughtfulness, proactive personal care and courteous service experienced at Nostalgia S (which is situated on a pretty lantern lit road gutted with great restaurants, cafés and it’s a short hop to Jingang Bridge and the Century Clock. The rooms are very comfortable, I love the Japanese type toilets they have (with bidet & heated seats). Snacks and drinks (water, yoghurt drink and orange juice) are very generously provided for free in the mini bar and they even provide tea-based mouthwash. Just to give an example of how responsive the staff were: on my first night the very inconsiderate guest in the next room played music till about 1:30 in the morning. It was only when I went to her door to knock that she apologised and turned it off. The next morning I reported it to the reception and there were genuinely mortified. When I got back to my room that evening, there was a handwritten note expressing their regret, apologies and a reminder to let them know of anything they could do to make my stay more pleasant. They also left eye shades and two sets of earplugs (which I did not need as I had my own). There are also signs in the lifts listing a whole range of items that guests could ask for, pro bono. When I informed them that I did not need my room made, they nonetheless left a large bag of drinks and snacks at my door. Laundry including detergent and softener is provided free. I put a batch into the machines and in the morning when I was about to go and collect them from the laundry room, I found that they had been delivered to my door. It’s little touches like this that makes one feel so valued. If I could, I would give nostalgia S an 11 out of 10 rating! Highly recommended and if I ever come back to tension, I will most certainly stay here again! Outstanding!"

Out of all the places I've stayed, this homestay in Tianjin stands out as one of the best. I am confident that I will return here in the future whenever I need a peaceful retreat.

GGuest UserThis Orange Crystal hotel opened last year. Huazhu Group's City Comfort Inn, Orange Crystal, and Manxin brands have been updating rapidly in recent years. For the same price point, the experience is definitely much better than Marriott, Hilton, or IHG's mid-to-high-end lines. They seem to understand domestic consumers better in terms of service and humanized touches. It's quite good! ^_^

GGuest User👌Had a wonderful two night stay at this hotel. Relocated there after a booking mishap caused us to change hotels since the hotel we were staying at in the city became overbooked. We decided to move to this one since it was closer to the airport and we had an early morning flight originating from Binhai (2days after)
👌We had a beautiful room for a family of 3( business room)The room was exceptionally clean and also quite spacious. Facilities are excellent with an on-site laundry room that allows self-service. We didn’t have breakfast since we slept in.
👌Received a very warm welcome from Liu at the front desk, check in was smooth and quick. We had a small issue in the room about noise from upstairs but she resolved it and explained the reason why and apologised for the inconvenience.
👌In the morning, two of us had to return to Beijing for a meeting, the lovely and kind ladies on duty Pang, who spoke English and Wang helped us organise transportation to the airport so we could get the subway train ( there’s a direct subway to Tianjin railway station originating from the airport ) to Beijing. While we waited for the car, they offered us refreshments (tea and water)
👌The driver Wang was so kind and spoke English and helped advise us on the train schedules so we wouldn’t miss the train back since we were returning back from Beijing to Tianjin in the evening to stay the night and leave for our morning flight.
👌They also organised a pick up from the airport when we arrived back to Tianjin late at night to the hotel.
👌The stay was made awesome and comfortable due to the impeccable and excellent service, kindness and eye for detail shown by the staff. 🥳Kudos to Ms Pang, Ms Wang , Mr.Wang and Ms Liu who made our stay even more comfortable. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
👌The hotel is near the airport and is suitable for travellers who have flights at Tianjin International airport and want to avoid the commute from the city. There are restaurants downstairs as well if you arrive late and need a meal. Nearby surroundings looks like residential area so works for those looking for a quiet stay ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Originally we booked another hotel in the city centre, but after considering that we only had around 18hours for the stay due to our flight connection, we decided to book a hotel nearby the airport. We booked our room that was with the window facing hallway.
When we entered, we were happy about the room's cleanliness and its new interior, although they only offered the basic amenities that were toothbrush and a hair comb. They were good enough for us as we had our own other toilet amenities like ear buds. They also offered two types of tea bags. After checking-in,
we left the room and went out. Then the nightmare started after our return.
First of all, after using the toilet, the toilet could not be flushed and was blocked. In addition, the air conditioning in the room was not giving cold air but rather only giving heat. We had to call to the reception. We understood that it was late in the night, around 1am mid night, so we expected no one would be able to fix the toilet and though we only had a few hours ie 5hrs to be in the room before checking out, reception asked us to change the room. We informed about the air conditioning as well and what we got told was we had to turn on the air conditioning for which we did. The answer was not helpful.
They changed our room to another room which was just right next door to the original one. The air conditioning situation was the same. (Photos were attached, pls note the temperature in the room) As we mentioned earlier, we had to leave hotel by 630am and we didn't bother to ask any question again. Obviously, we could not sleep due to the heat in the room.
Secondly, we left the room and went down for the pick up. Hotel offered free drop off/pick up service to/from the airport and shared with others. We appreciated that service. However, if knowing our pick up service was shared, shouldn't the hotel check in advance if the vehicle had enough space to accommodate all suitcases?? As if the hotel wanted to provide this thoughtful and heartfelt service.
No one asked when we booked the drop off service. The vehicle on that morning was only shared by another guest with his one suitcase. We could not accommodate our four suitcases including 2big and 2small suitcases. Though the driver insisted his vehicle could fit. It took time to arrange the space on that vehicle neither we would get comfortable by sitting in such limited space. We did not want the other guest to wait. We decided to call our own transport which was fine as the cost was often at a good price in China.
Lastly, knowing our departure from the hotel would cost us to miss the breakfast provided by the hotel, when we checked in, we purposely declined to receive the breakfast vouchers. However, the hotel was nice enough to provide a take away bag with breakfast for us when we checked out. But the most hilarious thing was that they only provide One breakfast and the fact that we should entitled TWO breakfast. Once again, if the hotel wanted to provide such a thoughtful and heartfelt service, they would have done the job better rather than just giving and not doing them properly neither in a much detailed efforts.
All of these led us to write our first lifetime negative comment. We hate to do it but we had to express how terrible it was on our first time visit and stay at this hotel in Tianjin.
PLS NOTE: Our room reached 30 Degrees Celsius and the so called Air Conditioning was ON.

Although the hotel isn't brand new, it's a traditional five-star property with well-maintained facilities. Jennifer at the front desk was incredibly warm and helpful. She called me before arrival to confirm my check-in time, upgraded me to a room with a view, ensuring it was non-smoking and quiet, and professionally answered all my questions. During check-out, the hotel lobby even had a Spring Festival event with couplets and fans. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would definitely choose this hotel again if I return to Tianjin.

GGuest UserThe room was incredibly spacious, clean, and tidy. Both the front desk and concierge staff were exceptionally professional and warm. They even called ahead to ask if we needed anything for our child and prepared a bathrobe and toiletries for them, which was a lovely touch. We chose the Four Seasons because our child loves to swim, and they have two pools – one heated and one regular – which they absolutely adored, especially with the provided floats and other facilities. Plus, it's a short walk to the Wudadao area. However, definitely avoid the 'Erduoyan Huiguan' restaurant; it's a total tourist trap.

GGuest UserThe room was spacious enough. I stayed at this hotel ten years ago when I visited Tianjin, and it's still comfortable, roomy, and offers a great view. The high floor ensures a quiet room.
Service: The service is excellent. The front desk was able to help me with items that needed refrigeration/freezing.
Location: The location is also good. I booked it last minute and trust Tangla, so it's good value for money.
