I was especially impressed by the local craftsmanship, from handmade jewelry to beautiful Galician ceramics. Prices vary, but there’s something for every budget, which makes it all the more enjoyable! After some retail therapy, I headed towards the Plaza de María Pita, where the atmosphere is always lively. Here, you can find plenty of cafés and bars to take a break. I sat down for a coffee, soaking in the view of the stunning Town Hall building. For lunch, I made my way to the Riazor Beach area, which is lined with fantastic seafood restaurants. I couldn't resist trying the pulpo a la gallega (Galician-style octopus) 🐙 at a seaside restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious. The freshness of the seafood in La Coruña is unparalleled, and the local wine perfectly complemented the meal. In the evening, I strolled along the Paseo Marítimo, with the ocean breeze and sunset views creating the perfect backdrop 🌅. I ended my day with tapas at a local taberna, enjoying the lively ambiance and friendly locals.
