Focus on the exhibitions of bronze ware from the Xia, Shang, and Zhou dynasties, and Tang dynasty sancai (three-color glazed pottery). 🏮Wind Rises in Luoyang: Yingtian Gate - Paradise Mingtang Put on Hanfu or Tang dynasty costumes and you’ll feel like you’ve traveled back to the Tang dynasty in an instant. Luoyang is stunningly beautiful, surprisingly so. Thousands of palaces and glazed lanterns fill your eyes with prosperity. 🏮Jiuzhou Pool, Empress Wu Zetian’s private garden, is truly beautiful. At night, when the lights of the Divine Capital come on, it really feels like a dream back to the Tang dynasty. 🏮“Phoenix Dance in the Divine Capital” is deeply moved by the romance and grandeur of the flourishing Tang dynasty😭 The 63-acre imperial garden serves as the stage, with Yaoguang Hall as the backdrop. At the opening, the water curtain rises with naked-eye 3D light and shadow effects. The moment the golden phoenix rises from the pool gave me goosebumps! The show follows six major chapters centered on the legendary life of Empress Wu Zetian, each scene is divine. 🏮Luoyi Ancient City offers a scene at every step, a frame in every view; walking in feels like entering a Tang dynasty costume drama. 🪨Longmen Grottoes, one of China’s four great grottoes, Thousands of caves bring blessings and peace. Standing before the tallest Buddha, Vairocana, you can’t help but pray for safety and smoothness. You can enter from the northwest gate and visit the West Hill Grottoes, East Hill Grottoes, and Xiangshan Temple in order. Be sure to see the Vairocana Buddha, said to be carved in the likeness of Empress Wu Zetian. The Longmen Grottoes lit up at night are even more spectacular! 💽“Tracing the Ode to the Goddess of Luo River” is China’s first digital immersive performance using VR+AR cutting-edge technology. When the guzheng music plays, the Goddess of Luo River, “graceful as a startled swan, elegant as a swimming dragon,” seems to step out of the painting. The fusion of dance and opera elements is incredibly smooth. There is also a live replica of the Longmen Grottoes and a dialogue between Li Bai and Li Qingzhao, making it highly recommended👍 Luoyang is never a heavy, hard-to-read history book, but a vivid and tangible encounter. This ancient capital holds so many surprises; I believe I will return here again!
