Autumn in Gongqing Forest Park

Gongqing Forest Park is located in Yangpu District, with the Huangpu River to the east and Jungong Road to the west. It is the largest park in downtown Shanghai in terms of forest area and number of trees. The park is divided into two parts, north and south. The northern part covers an area of 1,631 mu and is called Gongqing Forest Park, while the southern part, "Wanzhu Garden," covers an area of 239.6 mu. The park is home to more than 200 species of trees, with a total of more than 300,000 trees. This is a unique park, with not only dense forests, but also hills, large lawns, lakes, streams, and other landscapes, as well as lakes, bridges, pavilions, and more. The environment is elegant and the air is fresh, making it a great place for people to get close to nature. The park has three entrances and exits in the south, west, and north. It is a national 4A-level scenic spot and a free city park in Shanghai. In autumn, Gongqing Forest Park holds a chrysanthemum exhibition: chrysanthemums of various colors compete with each other, red like fire, yellow like gold, white like snow, and the flowers are of different shapes. In the clusters of flowers, visitors stop to take photos. The autumn breeze blows, and the fragrance of flowers fills the air, adding vitality to the autumn park.
