This hotel is a must-stay for students visiting Shanghai!

🧹Soundproofing/cleanliness: The room was clean and tidy, and the public areas were regularly cleaned and maintained, creating a comfortable and tidy environment for guests. 🏘️Room type/layout: I used a suite voucher to upgrade to an executive suite five days in advance. The room number was 2828. Although it wasn't on the top floor, the layout was reasonable. The guest bathroom was at the entrance and was equipped with a bidet. The living room was decorated in advance, which was a pleasant surprise. The cloakroom connected the entrance and bathroom and had a large dressing table, similar to the Ritz-Carlton in Guangzhou. The bedroom TV could be cast to, and the bedside was equipped with a Bose speaker. The bathroom was decorated with marble, which looked high-end. However, the executive suite bathroom had some shortcomings. It didn't have double sinks, and there was a large height difference between the sink and the washstand. Overall, the room layout made excellent use of space and functional zoning, meeting the diverse needs of guests and providing a comfortable and convenient living space. Some of the details also added to the quality and comfort of the stay. 🛌Supplies/facilities: The hotel had a wide range of high-quality supplies and facilities. The Dyson air purifier was quiet, and the bedroom was equipped with a large-capacity massage bathtub. Although the toiletries were from an uncommon brand, they were of good quality. The executive lounge and Track Restaurant were on lower floors, so they didn't have a good view. However, the food and beverage offerings in the lounge were a highlight. The happy hour dishes at 5:30 pm were excellent, the cocktails were delicious, and the breakfast was among the best in the Marriott group, comparable to the W Macau. The hotel also had a gym, which was quiet in the evening and had complete equipment. I didn't try the swimming pool, but it was said to be crowded on weekends. In addition, the hotel service was attentive. The robot delivered medical supplies, the Disney shuttle service was professional, and the hotel was able to contact me and deal with the situation promptly after I lost my documents. These all reflected the hotel's advantages in service and facilities, improving the guest experience in all aspects. 💰Average cost: Around 200 per person, very cost-effective 💗Other tips: The hotel location was average. It took nearly an hour to get to Tangqiao Station from Pudong Airport by subway, and then a 15-minute walk to the lobby. As it was more of a business hotel, most guests took taxis. The hotel service was top-notch. Whether it was dealing with unexpected situations during the stay or the Disney shuttle service, the hotel showed a professional and attentive service attitude, greatly improving guest satisfaction. For guests who value hotel hardware facilities, food quality, and service level, the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Shanghai Pudong is a good choice. Although there were some minor shortcomings, the overall advantages were obvious. I would rate it 9/10. It is highly recommended among Marriott hotels in Shanghai, especially for business travelers and high-end tourists.
