Hotels With Parking in Shanxi, China

A rather mediocre experience. I've been a Ctrip member for 15 years and rarely leave bad reviews, so I'll give this a passing grade of 3.0. The main reasons for the average experience were: 1. My baby had a fever in the middle of the night and couldn't get up the next day. I wanted to take some breakfast back to the room, but they wouldn't allow it, and the staff's attitude was quite stiff. At over 1700 RMB for two nights for three adults and one child, the price wasn't cheap. Since the hotel couldn't be understanding towards me, I can't be understanding towards them in my rating. 2. There must be floor heating or central air conditioning, because the room was extremely dry, even drier than indoors in Beijing during the heating season.

I booked this hotel in advance for our May Day holiday trip to Taiyuan. It's an established five-star hotel, and both the facilities and service are top-notch. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. It's super convenient to get to, right outside Exit A2 of Changfeng Street Station on Metro Line 2. Plus, it's next to Tianmei Xintiandi, a bustling commercial area, and taxis are always easy to find. We visited Zhonglou Street, Liuxiang, Jinci Temple, Tianlong Mountain, and the Shanxi Museum, and honestly, there's nothing to complain about except that some of the furniture feels a bit dated compared to newer hotels. Otherwise, it offers great value for money. I'll definitely stay at Kempinski again next time I'm in Taiyuan.

The hotel is very suitable for early flight guests, the environment is quiet, the room is big enough, the basic facilities are available, the shower room has a good amount of hot water, the front desk sisters are very warm, the room is very suitable for our needs, I learned that we are going to catch the early flight, and also intimately arrange early and drop-off service, good, Worth praise!

I highly recommend Shanxi Grand Hotel as Taiyuan's state guesthouse, especially the new JinYue building. You get to enjoy the convenient location of Shanxi Grand Hotel while experiencing a smart, modern stay. Before I arrived, I was a bit confused by the room types at Shanxi Grand Hotel, but then I realized that all rooms with 'Guo Feng' in their name are in the new building. I recommend the Guo Feng Deluxe Room – the facilities are new, the space is generous, and the layout is well-designed. The only downside is that there are only four such rooms in the entire hotel, and they all face outwards, so you can't see the hotel's light show from inside. Compared to staying in the main building where the elevator stops on every floor, staying in the new building makes getting up and down very convenient. The night view of Shanxi Grand Hotel is spectacular and a sight to behold in itself. You can go downstairs in the evening and take as many photos as you like; every time you enter or exit, you're treated to dazzling lights. The hotel room includes daily complimentary drinks and fruit, and the shower pressure is excellent, making for a fantastic experience.

Sanmei Boutique Hotel is located in a bustling area of Taiyuan, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the facilities are comprehensive. I especially appreciate that each room comes with a washing machine, which is very handy for guests to do their laundry. The staff are warm, attentive, and provide excellent service. Overall, it's a great choice!

My child absolutely loved this room! Besides being spacious, it was incredibly well-equipped. They even provided free earplugs and makeup remover wipes, not to mention complimentary tricycles and bicycles for exploring the ancient city. It was very quiet at night, making for a peaceful sleep. And the front desk staff? Their service was exceptional – truly made our stay comfortable and pleasant. The breakfast, served on a street in the ancient city, was just a few hundred meters away.

The location is absolutely perfect. The staff definitely are working to please. Attention of details were evident from the cleaning staff. The hotel is rustic and  required a coat of paint. I had difficulties signed in the internet, but Xu Xinran took care of problem quickly.

The hotel is quite new, the rooms are spacious and very clean. The smart home features are super convenient, and the service is great. I especially want to praise the breakfast, especially the freshly made knife-cut noodles, lamb offal soup with vermicelli, and bean noodles – they were all really delicious! This place offers incredible value for money. Definitely a five-star rating!

I chose Nan She for both of my trips to Datong, spaced about twenty days apart. The first time was by chance, but the second was a deliberate choice, both reflecting my high appreciation for every aspect of Nan She. It's located right beneath the North City Wall of the ancient city, close to Daiwang Mansion and Kuixing Tower. Its proximity to the main road makes getting around very convenient. The entrance to the North City Wall is just a few minutes' walk away, offering a superb spot to watch the sunset over the ancient city. The breakfast at the guesthouse is absolutely delicious. The rooms are spotless, and the bedding is clean; every detail is perfectly executed. The overall service is beyond words – attentive, warm, and thoughtful. Choosing the right accommodation is a crucial part of enhancing the travel experience, and both of my stays here provided an excellent one. Datong is a city you'll want to revisit; the more you get to know it, the more you'll love it. The blend of history and modernity, delicious food, and beautiful scenery offers endless appeal. Regarding the pick-up and drop-off service at Linfen West Station: The pick-up service was good, but when I booked it, they didn't ask for my order name or other details for verification, which seemed a bit unprofessional and indicated a slight lack of management. Also, when I arrived at West Station, no one contacted me until I called the hotel, and then the driver finally got in touch. There was a customer who needed a ride to the station, and I had to wait a bit. It would have been good to be informed about this beforehand so I knew what to expect. While understandable, not being told leaves customers unsure of the situation. The facilities, cleanliness, environment, and service were all pretty good. However, I hope management strengthens oversight on some of the food and water items. Don't provide items with a very long shelf life; customers might be hesitant to consume them, which leaves a bad impression.
