Embassy Suites Boston at Logan Airport

East Boston
Although I stayed at this hotel for only 12 hours, the room was quite spacious and confortable and equipped with everything I needed to stay for one night. As I needed to leave the hotel at 5am and could not have breakfast as it started being supplied from 6am. However, staying at this hotel was still worth the price.

It's connected to the mall, so can do everything without going outside. The facilities are a bit old, but room is spacious and the windows don't open. I highly praise Mr. Augustin(?) at the front desk. I'll never forget him kindly finding me a beer opener. I will definitely go again because of him:)

Great stay, good location. Close to stop 7 on the trolley tour. It might be because of the state or hotel but the incidentals and resort fee are particularly higher than any other state we’ve travelled to. Something to be aware of if you’re an international tourist.
Hampton Inn & Suites Worcester

When we arrived almost 2 hours past our check in time we were told that our room wasn't ready. No apologies, just that it had been a busy night. We were told it would be another 30-45 minutes. We sat in the lobby for 20 minutes before we had the idea of leaving our things behind the desk and heading out into town to wait. When I asked the front desk person about holding onto our things, he checked his computer and said, ”Oh, your room is ready!” Not sure he would have said anything to us if I hadn't asked. I asked to speak with the manager about receiving a discount on our room and was told he was in a meeting. He handed me the manager's card which I called and left a message. I explained my situation and told him I looked forward to speaking with him in the near future. He never called back and we never received any type of discount or acknowledgement about our situation. Bad service and shame on a manager for not having the guts to call and speak with me.
Riverview Inn & Suites

We stayed at the Riverview for two nights for a wedding in nearby Bristol, RI. The hotel served our purpose very well. It was obvious that the rooms were recently refurbished and the location was very clean as well. It appears that work is ongoing. The indoor pool (closed) looks like it was just repainted. Additionally, there is a large open space, riverside, with a basketball court, spot for a volleyball net, gazebo, and children's playground. A bit of maintenance and that can be a very valuable asset. No food on site. A few ”grocery store purchased” snacks were in the lobby for breakfast. However Roger's family restaurant less than a mile away was inexpensive and very good. Jillian's tavern shares a parking lot with the hotel. Very nice inside with good looking menu, but we just spent an hour there for a drink. If our schedule had permitted we would definitely have tried a meal. Convenient location right off of I95 so travel to Bristol area and Providence or even Fall River is very convenient. Staff was very attentive and housekeeper even told us on the way out that she would check our room and clear security deposit right away. If you need a nice place to stay, reasonably priced, and want to use it primarily for a roof over your head, this is a great stop. When pool is open or if you have young children for basketball and playground, it's even better.

The hotel was clean and self service- just wish there were more options for room service/ vending machines, we ran out of water and had to run to Trader Joe’s across the street to buy bottles of water.
Courtyard by Marriott Boston Brookline

Me, my wife and 15 year old stayed here for one night for the Dead and company concert at Fenway. This hotel was only 1.2 miles from the park. It's a great hotel! Clean, quiet and very nice front desk. Parking is 40 bucks a night, but free on the street for handycap parking only. You can grab an uber to Fenway for 10 bucks, nor take the trolly. But you need to purchase a CharlieCard to ride the trolly. Also, we walked back to the hotel after Fenway and it took 20 minutes. Would highly recommend for a night or more. Pricey, but all hotels in Boston are high priced in summer.

Location of the hotel couldn’t be beat! It was within walking distance to almost every highlight of Boston. Typically we pick a place to stay with free breakfast but there weren’t many to choose from for the location we wanted. Our room didn’t have a view but that’s to be expected in a downtown area. Also would’ve been nice to have a hot tub or something to sit in at the end of the night. Only random complaint I have was actually the size of the bathroom. This might be a weird thing to complain about but I think because the bathroom was so large and didn’t seem to be heated well and when I did try to take a bath (yes I bathe in hotel bathtubs) it got cold very quickly. I was disappointed they don’t have all ADA accommodations. The captioning didn’t work for half of the television shows, there were no flashing lights or doorbell for my husband who is deaf. I understand the building is old but it seemed like some of those things probably could be added. We didn’t interact with the staff much. We kept our privacy door hanger at the whole time so I can’t anything about housekeeping except the room was clean when we arrived. Overall the stay was good for the cost. And we would definitely pick this hotel again simply for the location.

The location is good - accessible to metro, shops and landmarks. The room is small for the price, and the breakfast is a joke - you get either some small sandwich or a plate of toast. On one day, they espresso machine was broken, so I had to take the generic coffee that's very watery. The reception staff was not friendly, just transactional. Same with the breakfast server on that day. My room has a so-so view of the city, it's facing the main street, and the rooms have poor soundproofing - I could hear the partying and the cars from the street and I am on the 10th floor. Moreso, I could hear a couple fighting the whole afternoon in the next room (that's why they have earplugs offered in the room because they know the problem). It's style-over-substance hotel, i.e. the aesthetics has a cool style but the practicality is very IKEA: foldable room desk and chair, hooks on wall instead of cabinets and hangers. For the price I paid, it's not value for money. It's a glamorized hostel for the price of a decent Marriott hotel room. Overall, I would look elsewhere the next time I'm back in Boston.
