"The stay at Jingli Hotel (Beijing Heshenghui Dajiaoting Subway Station Branch) was excellent, comfortable and highly recommended. We stayed at the first level room with a courtyard, it was spacious, clean and well equipped. We can see a bit of snow on the floor. The staff were all very friendly, especially 小石，小颖 , they were attentive, and always willing to help. Breakfast is with good spreads. Hotel also provided delicious supper like porridge and fruit every night. Free mineral water, surgical mask, drinks. The hotel’s location is near to the subway, Beijing South Railway Station. The hotel prepared breakfast takeaway when we left at 7am for the high speed train to Hangzhou and this surpised us We were very happy and will definitely stay at this hotel if we visit Beijing again. Thank you."

"The hotel boasts an excellent location within the Second Ring Road, right by the Temple of Heaven Park. It's quiet and safe, which gave us great peace of mind travelling with our child. Situated within a training school compound and set back from the main road, it's particularly peaceful. While the hotel is a bit older, it's impeccably neat and clean. The rooms are a little small and the soundproofing is only average, but considering its prime location, we really can't complain."

MM18735****We come to Half-Mountain at Haiwan almost every winter, and this time the experience was particularly fantastic. The service was incredibly attentive. My butler, Luna, sent me a lot of information about hotel activities in advance. I tried the morning floating sound bowl session in the Mercury hot spring pool with an Indian instructor. Listening to the bowls while focusing on my breath and the sensation of floating was incredibly relaxing. The morning Hatha yoga class, also with an Indian instructor, was very soothing and stretching. The service at Half-Mountain is genuinely excellent; every staff member is friendly and enthusiastic, and requests are met very quickly. The hot springs are as good as ever, the water is clean, and my skin felt wonderfully smooth afterward. During this stay, I tried both the Chinese and Western restaurants. The Chinese food portions were very generous, and the boiled beef and stir-fried eggs with tomatoes were surprisingly delicious. The Chinese meal also came with mixed grain rice, steamed with raisins and red dates, which my child devoured two bowls of! The Western food was also very good. As we were leaving, Luna even gave my child an ice cream, which made them incredibly happy. We'll definitely be back when the weather gets a bit colder, and next time I plan to stay an extra day!

GGuest UserThe locations is located at the heart of the Gubei Water Town Resort. Is just 15 min walk to Simatai Great Wall and there's a shuttle bus that take you around.
In Nov is off peak seasons 50%of the shops are closed but they restaurants, gifts shops open. The dye shop is open for you to take pictures but no DIY program. The wine shop is open for you to try the wine and take pictures. If you like you can buy the wine. The basement is the wine storage and wime making area. Because is off peak time you can only take pictures and not view the making of wine.
The hotel give out complimentary hotsprings vouchers and the resort town visitor centre give complimentary tickets for option 1- hanfu dressing, 2- Boat ride
3- foot reflexology
At night there's a water show and Drone showtime. The drone show depends on weather.

GGuest UserWe were pleasantly surprised by the homely atmosphere upon arrival and were warmly greeted by the host (co-owner). We booked a room to accommodate 4 of us but realised upon arrival that it was a little too small to accommodate all of us. The host immediately gave us another adjoining room within the same chalet at a very reasonable rate. The rooms were very thoughtfully designed, for example there were heat lamps above the shower stall so that one did not have to contend with the cold after a shower; and the bathroom lights were motion sensor activated so that one did not have to stumble around in the middle of the night. The place is well-kept and has excellent and personalised service. We were driven by the host to the Nanshan ski park and nearby places for dinner, and on the last day to the train station; all this at no extra cost. The in-house dinner was good and delicious and very reasonably priced. It is a cozy place for families to gather and engage in recreational activities. We were treated to a traditional tea session within the premises by the host, who was extremely gracious and warm. All the co-owners were also extremely helpful and attentive to our needs, making our short stay there a truly unforgettable experience. Thank you! We will return in the near future! :)

3320825****Here I am again, staying at this hotel. It's spotlessly clean, and the facilities are brand new. It's only about 200-300 meters from Gubei Water Town. My kids absolutely loved the family-themed room and started playing as soon as we arrived. A big thank you to our butler, Xiao Wang, for the thoughtful service and for arranging a room with a direct view of the Simatai Great Wall and the Water Town scenery from the window. It was a fantastic experience!

LLaogandaixiaoganMy family and I have been visiting for nearly a decade now – my child was just a little girl when we first started coming here! Our experience earlier this year was particularly good. The rooms were pleasantly scented, clean, and tidy. The overall package, including the hot springs, swimming, fitness facilities, and buffet breakfast, offered excellent value for money. The hot spring experience this time was exceptionally good, with great attention to detail. It was evident that the hotel places great importance on the water quality and environment in the hot springs area. We're particularly grateful to Manager Wang Fang, who oversees the hot springs. Her service is consistently excellent each year, always warm and personally attentive. The breakfast, as always, was incredibly rich, offering a wide array of both Chinese and Western options. We hope the prices remain affordable during the winter peak season, especially for loyal, returning guests like us.

KktimorioGood Hotel which is located directly near the tourist center that must be passed to reach Gubei Watertown and the Simatai Cablecar to reach Simatai Great Wall.
We had one of the family rooms for kids and it was really nice and comfortable.
The explanation at the lobby how to reach the wall was not good. No checkin in English was possible. We had to use translation apps.
The breakfast had a lot of options, but the Chinese as well as the Western food was not on 5-star hotel level.
The stay was offered for a very attractive price though.

Sshuijing_101Advantages: There are a lot of toys in the theme children's room, as well as a small slide and a small swing. The room is also very large. There is an indoor children's playground right outside the room. You can play there when the weather is too hot. The breakfast is rich. The Chinese restaurant is a bit expensive and not as cost-effective as the buffet, but the dishes are large, the service staff are friendly and give small toys to the children.
The park environment has trees, flowers and lakes, and the roses are in full bloom. There is also a light show at night. The shuttle bus butler Xiao Hu is very good. If there are any problems, he will reply at any time and solve them quickly.
Disadvantages: There is no place to dry clothes in the room, and the bathroom only has a toilet but no sink, which is inconvenient. There are many sycamore balls floating everywhere in the park, which are eye-catching.
Next time I will change to a theme room or live in the mountains.

AAnonymous UserFantastic! It's just a few minutes' walk to Nanluoguxiang and Yongwang Mansion. Even though it's in a hutong, cars can still access it. The hotel service is excellent, and I feel like the few hundred RMB I spent were well worth it. When choosing a hotel, I really worry about that strong, unpleasant smell when you first walk in, but thankfully, there was none of that here. The room even had Wahaha drinks and snacks, plus children's toothbrushes and slippers. They also offer late-night snacks, laundry service, and luggage storage. When I asked the staff how much it would be to extend my stay by an hour, they just said they'd extend it for me. It's truly amazing. I've never left a hotel review before, but this is the first one that made me feel like the service and everything else was completely worth it. From the moment I stepped into the reception to the cleaning staff, everyone was wonderful.

GGuest UserThis was our first time at Club Med Yanqing, and we absolutely loved it. The environment is fantastic, and there are so many activities, perfect for families with kids. A special shout-out to Sherly, who took such wonderful care of us from the moment we checked in until we checked out. She even gave my daughter a gift! During the evening activities, she helped my daughter join in games with other children, and everyone was so welcoming and inclusive towards her 🎉. What's more, Sherly and many other Club Med staff speak excellent English, which makes it very convenient for international guests 👍👍👍. We also really enjoyed the buffet here; they have everything you could possibly want! We will definitely be back in the future.

Mmenqs001The location is fantastic, right outside a subway station. It's only about a 10-15 minute ride on Line 2 to the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. Plus, Guorui City and New World are just a 5-minute walk away, making shopping and snacking super convenient! The room was clean and odor-free, and the bed was so soft I didn't want to get up. The staff, both the guys and girls, were incredibly warm and welcoming. I even forgot my charger, and they actively helped me borrow one! The *youtiao* (fried dough sticks) and *doufunao* (tofu pudding) at breakfast were incredibly authentic. There's also a Huguosi Snack bar downstairs, perfect for late-night cravings. It's an established hotel, and it feels reliable. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Beijing!
