Spacious and clean room with equipped terrace, table, chairs, drying rack. Large bathroom. Equipped common area with the possibility of purchasing snacks from the vending machine. The owners are extremely available for any need. Close to the polyclinic which can also be reached by bus (BRT1) which stops in front the gate of the building, if you want to reach the center a few steps from the metro station (Milo)

Excellent hotel, very welcoming and helpful staff always available and very kind and qualified. They were able to direct us in giving advice on how to move and find typical attractions of Catania. Hotel located a stone's throw from the center of Catania. Advised
Bad - B&B and Design

Cute rooms, great location, easy access in and out, right near the main bus station so it was easy to get to the airport. Good air conditioning. We stayed here two different times and the second room had a bathroom that was private but outside of the room (we had the only key - but inconvenient and very hot in the bathroom). If you hoped for a breakfast buffet with hot items, you would be very disappointed - only yogurt and a coffee/tea machine and pre-packaged crisp bread and pastry in the room. However - you could go to the 24 hour place across the street for simple food items. The host was available - personable and helpful.

We called this our ”Hidden Gem”! We loved this B&B! The owners were so nice and accommodating! They even were up at 3;45 AM to help with our luggage. They reached out to a local taxi driver to get us to our Etna tour and to an early flight out. The breakfast was delicious. It was very personal; you ordered what you wanted the night before and they served it to you, not your typical buffet set up. The room was large and comfortable, it was quiet and we slept very well. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful time.
Habitat Boutique Hotel

Habitat is a very comfortable & architecturally attractive hotel with mid-century modern décor. Its location on a lovely, quiet street is ideal. Museo Diocesano (great view of Etna & the city from its roof) is 8-minutes away by foot. The hotel’s interior patio is a pleasant place to sit & relax. Raffaele at the front desk was professional, friendly & a big help to us re local suggestions & researching transportation options to our next destination. The breakfast buffet is a special feature of Habitat. It’s offered in a beautiful & bright space that converts to a restaurant at night. Extremely fresh farm-to-table offerings - - all of the highest quality - - impressive even for food-serious Sicily. The coffee is made-to-order (not automatic machine) & the breakfast staff is pleasant & attentive. Manuela is the talented chef who creates their amazing pastries. A very nice hotel experience. We’ll definitely plan to stay here on our next visit to Catania.

I really wanted to enjoy this hotel/bed & breakfast but I cannot recommend to anyone. I've waited a week before writing this review - I booked through ******* who funnily enough won't let me write a review...is it because there are known problems I only stayed 1 night out of 3 without any goodwill refund! There was no welcome checkin ust call a number and send over your passport info in exchange for a pass code to gain entry - very impersonal - also told to leave tourist taxes money on the side in my room (not likely as no receipt!) The place is clean but it's also very dark the room has ensuite but the step is double the normal (building regulations) height which is dangerous for anyone well or afflicted in anyway there was Breakfast food in the room but only coffee and water to drink no tea! There is a TV which dominates the room but worst of all the bed faces the door so your feet point outwards to the door VERY BAD sleeping position and finally the door handle came away in my hand on arrival prior to even entering the room! BUT this was fixed before bedtime. I cannot recommend this place to anyone - I expect the owner who had other matters to tend with instead of welcoming guestswas happy to meet me on my departure but reluctant to refund the remaining two days stay which is understandable as it was booked through ******* whom I do not trust anymore as they don't vet their properties so whats the point! There needs to be someone to welcome guests -there needs to be light in the place to make it welcoming and the bed position needs to be reviewed and most importantly the step to the ensuite is danpgerously high. I wish I didn't have to say all this but its true. I see that previous reviewers of this place have endured the owner wrath in response - but I'd like to say take the reviews as an opportunity to learn and improve the property not as a personal attack.
