Belle Mare
The beach of Mao Ball really doesn't want to hold too high expectations. This is the third home in Mao Ball. The service and the first two are really incomparable, because the former one lived in a bubble and served too much. There is no comparison here, you can only say that the price is OK, after all, this price is cheaper in the hair ball. To praise the bath water here, because the bubble is open air, so the bath water is cold at night, no matter where the bath water is good in the morning and evening, it is close to the SUPER U flacq shop. Go to the hair ball and try to avoid Sunday. We had 2 weeks of this trip, which was wasted. The public holiday supermarket of Zhoumao Maoshu was closed, the hotel was closed, and the project did not have to play.

Balaclava
I went to the hotel in June and it is my all time favourite in terms of all inclusive package and the infinity pool is amazing. You can even go on the 'debarcadère' to watch an amazing sunset or even from bar facing the beach with enjoy a glass of sparkling wine. The food is great and the rooms are nicely decorated. I would recommend this hotel without any hesitation.🥂

Trou aux Biches
We spent eight nights at the Coral Azur. I highly recommend the hotel. Below are the specifics. We arranged transportation to/from the airport with the hotel. We had five adults. The total round-trip cost per person was ~$40 USD. It was efficient and easy. The rides to/from the hotel took just under an hour. All communication with the hotel was efficient. We arrived at the hotel around 9:30 PM. The check-in staff allowed us to eat off the buffet (closed at 10 PM) for no charge. We did not ask to eat or say we were hungry. They just said, “Help yourself.” In all of our travels, this was a first! Check-in was relatively easy. Rooms are standard size with a balcony. I think all rooms have an ocean view, which is a nice perk. Also, one can view the excellent sunsets from the balcony. Our room had a fridge, safe, good shower pressure with hot water, and toilets that flushed without problem. The pool area was nice, with plenty of chairs. The hotel has nightly entertainment. The breakfast buffet was good, with a large selection and everything one would want for breakfast, including mimosas! Breakfast and dinner, if one chooses to eat at the hotel, are in an open-air restaurant. To minimize the impact of birds, the staff provides bread outside of the restaurant. It works reasonably well but not 100%. Be prepared for birds flying around during meals. There are plenty of taxis available outside the hotel. We negotiated service with one taxi driver for the week. They took our family to town for shopping, etc. We also used them for a ride to dinner every evening. The area has several nice restaurants, but very few are within walking distance. It was more cost-effective to eat out than at the hotel. If you would like information on our driver, message me, and I will send you his contact information. Jennifer Lopez. Everyone meets JL. She is a nice person dedicated to the resort. She goes over the top to make everyone feel welcome. In the morning, during breakfast, she visits every table and tries to learn about all the guests. She and I had lunch together. Hearing her story was excellent!

Port Louis
The surrounding area of the hotel is really desolate, it is farmland, but it is because of this, the hotel is very quiet, not noisy, I like it very much, the suite is really big, my husband and I are super satisfied, only stayed for three nights and felt that it was still unfinished. Mauritius Unless you live near the port of Louisville, the location of the basic resort is relatively remote. Although Banyan is not very big, it is very special. As far as the room is concerned, I feel better than the Long Beach we stayed in because of We also watched the sunset in the northwest area, it was very complete~ the hotel staff were very warm, let us have a warm feeling of home!

Rats in restaurant On arrival the hotel is really beautiful - a small oasis tucked away with gorgeous colonial style. The reception staff were really lovely and made us feel welcome. The room was really nice - but there were a few things we noticed (which we let slide at the start) - massive dirty lipstick mark on one of our water glasses, filthy lampshades above the bathroom sinks, bed linen that didn’t feel particularly fresh and the robes as well had a slight greyish colour rather than bright white which they were meant to be. These were all minor things at the start which we didn’t even mention to each other but did notice. We then had our first night at the cocktail bar where our drink was served by the lovely barman (very polite and smily) - as we were drinking we saw a huge rat run across the terrace - we decided it was an island and maybe this is normal (although we really weren’t happy about it). We then were dining within the restaurant and again a huge rat was running towards the table. For us, this is not ok. We asked to move tables as we saw a rat and the waiters barely acknowledged it - didn’t offer any apology and then proceeded to avoid our table for the rest of the night. We informed the manager the next day who assured us he was aware and the rat had been caught, and to “give it a chance”. We weren’t offered so much as a complimentary drink. After dining in the restaurant again the second night and again seeing a rat - for us it was time to check out. Not only is it unpleasant seeing rodents running around while eating but I would say it’s a hygiene issue and makes me question the cleanliness of the kitchen and the safety of the food. The only concession we were offered was to not pay for the remaining nights that we would not be staying for. Really disappointing. On hindsight some things we would add about the whole experience: - Not a 5 star in terms of food, service or cleanliness - Staff really hit and miss - some very friendly some really rude and unhelpful - Rooms didn’t feel clean - Food was average - nothing felt fresh including breakfast - Quite stingey with water - water not replaced within our room (had to ask for it) We are now staying at a different hotel and haven’t seen one rat, so don’t think this is “just an island thing” as the manager stated. The service and food are also worlds apart which has really solidified that our review of 20 degres sud as completely justified - not a 5 star experience whatsoever.
