IIonutPAfter a 3 weeks trip in different cities in China, this was the best hotel we stayed at. Very nice staff, always smiling and ready to help with any request. It is very clean and confortable. You have everything you need, starting from bathrobes, clean towels everyday, toothbrushes, toothpaste, comb, hair dryer, tea, coffee, water, all complementary. The water runs hot 24/7, the beds and pillows are super comfy. Also the location is very good (nice neighborhood and close to main attractions).

ZZM-1The Grand Hotel Beijing, a venerable five-star hotel in the capital, is renowned for its exceptional location. Facing Chang'an Avenue, it's west of Tiananmen Square, and about a 300-meter walk east to Wangfujing Street. For this family trip, we chose the Grand Hotel, anticipating some dated facilities and management in exchange for its convenient location. However, our actual experience was a pleasant surprise. Firstly, the hotel's management and staff service were excellent, with smiling faces everywhere. The front desk even proactively upgraded our standard twin room with a view to two 1.5-meter beds free of charge, which was very thoughtful. Secondly, the hotel's decor is elegantly classic, grand, and sophisticated. Many details preserve or reflect the prestige and style of a famous Beijing hotel, allowing guests to increasingly appreciate its unique charm. The breakfast hall on the second floor, in particular, with its grandeur and atmosphere, is sure to leave a lasting impression on every diner. Furthermore, their service is approachable and down-to-earth, without the usual airs of a high-end hotel. For example, the restaurant on the fourth floor proactively offered discounts to new guests, there's a dedicated takeaway order corner in a part of the hotel lobby, and complimentary bottled water is available everywhere. All in all, choosing the Grand Hotel Beijing was definitely a plus for our trip to the capital. If we get the chance to vacation in Beijing again, we will certainly stay here.

GGuest UserThe hotel room was beautifully decorated, the staff were enthusiastic, and the hotel service was warm and thoughtful. The facilities were complete and the room was comfortable, definitely deserving a five-star rating. The only thing was that the bathroom was made of glass, but it was acceptable.

WWanzixifuThis time, I brought my child to stay in the deluxe room at Manlan Hotel, and the experience exceeded my expectations. I genuinely recommend it for families with children.
Room size and layout: The deluxe room was incredibly spacious with clear functional divisions, so it never felt cramped even with a child. What I liked most was having two bathrooms, which made it so much more convenient for our family to get ready in the morning without disturbing each other.
Facilities and details: The bed height is adjustable, which is a thoughtful design, especially for families with kids. Overall, the room's facilities are well-maintained.
Complimentary minibar: The snacks and drinks in the minibar were all free, which made my child very happy and saved us the trouble of buying snacks ourselves.
Location: It's very close to Yonghe Temple and Sanlitun, and not far from the subway station, making travel convenient.
Environment and sleep: Although the location is convenient, the hotel itself was very quiet, allowing for an excellent night's rest. The overall comfort level was high.
Summary: With its large space, thoughtful facilities, convenient transportation, and quiet comfort, this is a hotel I would definitely return to. I recommend it to families with children or anyone who would appreciate the convenience of two bathrooms.

GGuest UserThe attention to detail here is truly impressive!
Location: It's right in the heart of Beijing's CBD, with direct views of the CCTV Tower.
Amenities: They've thought of so many thoughtful touches, like individually packaged bathrobes, high-security door locks, exquisite wardrobes and drawers, and a fantastic selection of high-quality drinks at the minibar. The fitness facilities are also excellent and comprehensive! Honestly, besides the high price, there's nothing imperfect, haha. The parking fee is a bit high, but the parking environment is good. It's definitely worth it! The buffet dinner and breakfast are also very extensive! Highly recommended!

SSiau YongThe hotel upgraded us to apartments in a condominium nearby. The apartments are very spacious, well equipped, secured, and clean. The location is a distance away to the city centre, but with private transport, there's no issue. Nearby the hotel there're some shops, and a row of eateries with local food and local prices. The reception desk staff especially Sunny, Tina and Rebecca are warm, helpful, and responsive. Compliments to their excellent service. The only negative point is the breakfast which is outsourced to an adjacent cafe - the variety should be improved. We took the breakfast only once, and make our own in the apartments for the rest of the stay.
ZZhongtoubuzhongFor our Chinese New Year trip to Beijing, I spent a long time looking at hotels and finally chose Artyzen Habitat near Dongzhimen. Our main reason for picking Artyzen Habitat was that we're a family of four (two adults, two kids), and after a long search, most family rooms were either too expensive, unavailable, or too far from the city's attractions. The Habitat Twin Room at Artyzen is very spacious, with two 1.4-meter beds, a small living area, a kitchenette with a dining table, and even a microwave oven, induction hob, and cutlery. It's really convenient if you want to cook for yourself. This room type is perfectly adequate for two adults and two children.
The hotel's location is also super convenient. It's very close to Sanlitun, Yonghe Temple, and Ditan Park, and it's only a 20-30 minute ride to other city attractions. The subway station isn't too far either, making getting around quite easy. Opening the room window, we could even see a frozen lake in the MOMA community – a first for our Southern kids! 😄
The hotel service was pretty standard, nothing particularly special, but all our basic needs were met. They also have delivery robots, so you don't need to go downstairs to pick up your takeout, which is quite handy. On the second basement level, there's a gym with a good variety of equipment. Next to the gym is a laundry room. The hotel's amenities are quite comprehensive, making it very suitable for family trips or extended business stays.

GGuest UserFirst, the pros: The location is excellent, the room is spacious and elegantly designed, and there's a small balcony. The bedding is comfortable, and breakfast is plentiful. The only downside is the limited seating, so expect queues during peak season.
Now for the cons: I'm quite sensitive to noise. I feel the hotel's opera-house-like room layout amplifies sound significantly, so if there are noisy guests on any floor, it seems the entire hotel would be affected. The sound of plumbing from the adjacent bathroom was also very noticeable. Although the room has wall-to-wall carpeting, the noise from upstairs activities was still quite loud.
I only stayed one night as a transit hotel, so I don't have many other strong impressions.

LLucky7xinyiI specifically chose a hotel near Jintai Xizhao subway station, and the experience far exceeded my expectations!
**Killer Location:** It's a 3-minute walk to Jintai Xizhao Station on Line 10, and Fortune Center is right downstairs. Walking along the sidewalk at night, you can capture stunning pictures of the sunset casting a golden edge on the CBD buildings – it truly brings the beauty of the 'Eight Great Sights of Yanjing' to life.
**Comfortable Rooms:** The large floor-to-ceiling windows offer views of bustling traffic during the day and dazzling neon lights at night. The bed is just the right firmness, and you won't be disturbed by city noise. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation, and toiletries are well-stocked.
**Rich Breakfast:** Both Chinese and Western options are available. The freshly ground coffee, hot porridge, and pastries are fresh and delicious. After a hearty breakfast, you'll be full of energy for sightseeing!

GGuest UserThis was my first stay at the Grand Millennium Beijing, and it exceeded my expectations by far. It wasn't overly crowded, so it felt very peaceful and quiet. The swimming pool is a major highlight, integrated seamlessly with the gym on a different floor, creating a spacious, high-ceilinged area with a Southeast Asian vibe. I encountered many Hong Kongers there, from business travelers in the elevator to an elderly couple in the executive lounge; they were all very humble and friendly. The surrounding area boasts a wide variety of restaurants, and the Fortune Plaza Mall is practically a canteen for Beijing's white-collar workers. The night view is also top-notch, with the CCTV Headquarters lit up beautifully. A pleasant surprise was bumping into a celebrity while working out – the 'rooster among roosters,' haha. The Grand Millennium is fantastic, giving me every reason to return. The male manager who handled my check-in was very gracious, and the service was just perfect.
