GGuest UserOur trip to Beijing started at another hotel, but we moved to this Orange Crystal as the previous one near Sanlitun was just awful. As a mid-range chain hotel, the bare minimum I expect is cleanliness, tidiness, and a quiet environment. This Orange Crystal, however, far exceeded my expectations. We checked in around midnight, and the front desk staff were all incredibly warm, enthusiastic about their work, and very friendly to our child. They even gave our little one snacks and a toy, which was such a thoughtful gesture given how late we were checking in – it really warmed our hearts. The hotel and rooms felt very clean and hygienic, with no strange odors, and it was generally quiet and comfortable. We slept wonderfully during our four-night stay. The restaurant also seemed very clean and well-organized, and the location is good. I've stayed in a few hotels in Beijing, and if you're looking for a chain, this one is definitely worth recommending.

MMudongdong_xChoosing Qiuguo for business trips is such a breeze! The lobby is a versatile 'seven-in-one' space, perfect for both work and relaxation. The rooms are well soundproofed and bright, and the high-speed WiFi is stable, making it stress-free to get work done. There's a 24-hour self-service laundry and dryer, so no need to pack dirty clothes when traveling for business. The front desk staff is professional and efficient, proactively helping with luggage storage and recommending routes; their service is thoughtful and attentive. The facilities are new, and hygiene is strictly maintained. The Lang Le Fu mattress provides a first-class sleeping experience. Highly recommend for business travelers!

Llmlmlml118This stay was pretty average. The good aspects are obvious: the room was clean and the service was excellent! Now, let's talk about the complaints: 1. We were a family of four adults and one child, and we booked a family suite, which was actually two connected rooms: a one-bedroom suite plus a standard twin room. Since these two rooms aren't sold separately, I don't think there should be such a big difference in the amenities. The suite had all the good stuff: a Dyson hairdryer, branded toiletries, and various luxury fruits, while the twin room only had standard items and oranges. 2. The doorknob design in the suite's bedroom was very impractical; you could easily pinch your fingers when closing the door. 3. The toilet seat was too narrow. Once a cover was put on, it wouldn't stay in place, so you had to hold it while using the toilet. 4. From the 22nd to the 25th, there was a power outage scheduled for circuit maintenance. At 11:59 PM, all the lights in the room went out, and then the TV turned on by itself, which scared our sleeping child and made them cry. There was nothing we could do about this; it just happened to be during our stay. 5. There's ongoing gas pipeline renovation in the Wangfujing area until the end of April. As shown in the picture, the road below was noisy, and it woke up the whole family at 2 AM. We weren't notified about this beforehand. I definitely don't recommend staying here before the end of April, especially in rooms facing the road. 6. The bathtub caddy was too short. It only stayed stable if placed in the protruding middle section; elsewhere, it would easily fall. I even got hit in the chest by the falling caddy while bathing, leaving a red mark. I hope this can be improved. 7. The blackout curtains didn't block out light completely, even when fully drawn; there were big gaps. You couldn't tell at night, but during the day, it was incredibly glaring. The picture I took shows three windows in the room: only one could be fully drawn, while the others had gaps. Plus, the curtains were very dusty. I hope they are cleaned more often. 8. The biggest complaint!! The air conditioner didn't provide heat! It only blew cold air! Staff came to check it, but it was no use. After turning it off, the windows felt drafty and cold. When it was on, it blew a lot of air and made the room very dry. It was an awkward situation overall. 9. There was no call before check-in to ask about our needs. We had to request a crib upon arrival. It felt a bit like the casual 'Old Beijing' style. Aside from these, there were many good points, but I didn't sleep well and don't feel like thinking too much. I've just jotted down whatever came to mind. I hope this helps you, and I also hope the hotel can consider these suggestions, based on a real guest's experience, to improve and further enhance their service.

GGuest UserThe attention to detail here is truly impressive! Location: It's right in the heart of Beijing's CBD, with direct views of the CCTV Tower. Amenities: They've thought of so many thoughtful touches, like individually packaged bathrobes, high-security door locks, exquisite wardrobes and drawers, and a fantastic selection of high-quality drinks at the minibar. The fitness facilities are also excellent and comprehensive! Honestly, besides the high price, there's nothing imperfect, haha. The parking fee is a bit high, but the parking environment is good. It's definitely worth it! The buffet dinner and breakfast are also very extensive! Highly recommended!

ZZhongtoubuzhongFor our Chinese New Year trip to Beijing, I spent a long time looking at hotels and finally chose Artyzen Habitat near Dongzhimen. Our main reason for picking Artyzen Habitat was that we're a family of four (two adults, two kids), and after a long search, most family rooms were either too expensive, unavailable, or too far from the city's attractions. The Habitat Twin Room at Artyzen is very spacious, with two 1.4-meter beds, a small living area, a kitchenette with a dining table, and even a microwave oven, induction hob, and cutlery. It's really convenient if you want to cook for yourself. This room type is perfectly adequate for two adults and two children. The hotel's location is also super convenient. It's very close to Sanlitun, Yonghe Temple, and Ditan Park, and it's only a 20-30 minute ride to other city attractions. The subway station isn't too far either, making getting around quite easy. Opening the room window, we could even see a frozen lake in the MOMA community – a first for our Southern kids! 😄 The hotel service was pretty standard, nothing particularly special, but all our basic needs were met. They also have delivery robots, so you don't need to go downstairs to pick up your takeout, which is quite handy. On the second basement level, there's a gym with a good variety of equipment. Next to the gym is a laundry room. The hotel's amenities are quite comprehensive, making it very suitable for family trips or extended business stays.

SSiau YongThe hotel upgraded us to apartments in a condominium nearby. The apartments are very spacious, well equipped, secured, and clean. The location is a distance away to the city centre, but with private transport, there's no issue. Nearby the hotel there're some shops, and a row of eateries with local food and local prices. The reception desk staff especially Sunny, Tina and Rebecca are warm, helpful, and responsive. Compliments to their excellent service. The only negative point is the breakfast which is outsourced to an adjacent cafe - the variety should be improved. We took the breakfast only once, and make our own in the apartments for the rest of the stay.

AAnonymous UserFor a trip to Beijing, especially to explore the Forbidden City with its red walls and yellow roofs, staying close by is paramount. Just a stone's throw from the Forbidden City's Donghuamen (East Prosperity Gate), on Nanheyuan Street, stands the Beijing Cuimingzhuang Hotel – a building steeped in history, adorned with green glazed tiles. It's not just a 4-star hotel; it's a piece of history you can actually stay in. **An Unbeatable 'Center Stage' Location: Neighboring the Forbidden City** If you're coming for the Forbidden City or Tiananmen Square, Cuimingzhuang's location is absolutely unbeatable. * **Walking Distance:** Turn left out of the hotel, and in about 3 minutes, you'll reach the Forbidden City's Donghuamen. A leisurely 15-minute stroll along the moat will take you to the Meridian Gate. * **Prime Shopping District:** Turn right, and a few minutes' walk brings you to the bustling Wangfujing Street, offering a full range of dining, entertainment, and shopping options. * **Panoramic Views:** On a clear day, from higher floors, you can even catch a glimpse of the national flag fluttering in Tiananmen Square. Cuimingzhuang is far from a typical modern hotel. Built in the 1930s, its most distinguished role was serving as the headquarters for the CPC delegation to the Military Executive Headquarters in 1946. In 1995, it was designated a Municipal Cultural Relic Protection Unit by Beijing. * **Architectural Style:** Featuring a classical Chinese green glazed tile roof, its main gate is adorned with 49 door-nails, following imperial mansion regulations. Inside, the decor has a dignified 'government building' aesthetic, transporting you back decades in time. * **Mini Museum:** The hotel itself feels like an exhibition hall. Downstairs, old photographs and historical descriptions are displayed, allowing you to feel the weighty 'red memory' as you walk through. **👍 Most Praised Aspects: Security and Local Charm Coexist** * **Top-Notch Security:** Due to its unique location and historical background, there are 24-hour guards or armed police standing sentry at the entrance. This provides a 'great sense of security' for solo travelers and families with children. * **Quiet in the City:** Although located in a bustling area, the guest rooms are well soundproofed, and most rooms are very quiet, ensuring a good night's sleep. * **Surrounded by Delicious Food:** Step out of the hotel, and you're in the heart of Old Beijing's culinary scene. Jiumenxuan Roast Duck, Fangzhuanchang Zhajiangmian, Siji Minfu, and Menkuang Luzhu are all within walking distance. Some guests even highly recommend 'Bayuan Shuanyang' (hotpot) in the basement, claiming it's 'many times better than some famous competitors.' * **Attentive Service:** The front desk service is frequently mentioned for its friendly and efficient attitude. Many guests have received complimentary room upgrades, and the rooms are clean and odor-free. * **Decent Breakfast:** The breakfast is a Chinese buffet with a fair variety, but it lacks the sophistication of higher-end hotels, and Western options are limited. **✅ Ideal for:** * **Deep Cultural Enthusiasts:** Those who want to 'live in history' and wake up to a view of the Imperial City. * **'Special Forces' Tourists / Travelers with Elderly or Children:** The prime location saves a lot of travel time, allowing you to return to the hotel to rest whenever you're tired. * **Those Prioritizing Security:** Returning to the hotel late at night and seeing the duty officers at the entrance provides immense peace of mind. * **Drivers:** In the vicinity of Chang'an Avenue and the Forbidden City, this is one of the very few hotels offering free parking – a true blessing for those driving!

GGuest UserLet me start with an overall impression: the decor is quite distinctive, but the facilities are definitely dated. If you have high standards for your living environment and aren't too concerned about value for money, you might want to reconsider. Most of the doormen are unprofessional; they don't proactively open car doors or help with luggage, they just stand there watching. A key highlight: SUV drivers and new drivers should seriously reconsider using the hotel's parking garage. Both the entrance and exit are 180-degree plus sharp turns, and the lanes are extremely narrow, making it very difficult to navigate. Furthermore, when my friend tried to leave the parking lot for the first time, the parking barrier hit his car. This happened because of the unreasonably sharp turn at the exit and the short time interval before the barrier came down again. The duty manager was quite helpful and actively tried to resolve the issue. However, when my friend attempted to leave the parking lot a second time, he was hit by the barrier again, even under the manager's watchful eye. This time, he even tried to drive out a bit faster. We've since reached a resolution with the hotel, but I still hope future guests will be extra cautious. Overall, it's indeed a beautiful building, but the interior maintenance is seriously lacking. Staying for a day for a photoshoot might be okay occasionally, but I won't be returning.

GGuest UserBooked this for a client, and they were extremely satisfied! The prime location was definitely a top choice. It's quiet, which truly deserves a five-star rating. The hotel has an antique charm and is very affordable. Given Beijing's traffic, its proximity to Line 7 is a huge plus, making it a great value for money overall.

GGuest UserThis was my first stay at the Grand Millennium Beijing, and it exceeded my expectations by far. It wasn't overly crowded, so it felt very peaceful and quiet. The swimming pool is a major highlight, integrated seamlessly with the gym on a different floor, creating a spacious, high-ceilinged area with a Southeast Asian vibe. I encountered many Hong Kongers there, from business travelers in the elevator to an elderly couple in the executive lounge; they were all very humble and friendly. The surrounding area boasts a wide variety of restaurants, and the Fortune Plaza Mall is practically a canteen for Beijing's white-collar workers. The night view is also top-notch, with the CCTV Headquarters lit up beautifully. A pleasant surprise was bumping into a celebrity while working out – the 'rooster among roosters,' haha. The Grand Millennium is fantastic, giving me every reason to return. The male manager who handled my check-in was very gracious, and the service was just perfect.
