Do I Need to Fill in the Malaysia Arrival Card (MDAC)?

We stayed at The Face Suites for 3 days and 2 nights with our two kids and overall it was a pleasant experience.
The suite was very spacious and family-friendly, giving the kids plenty of room to move around comfortably. One of the highlights was the bathroom, which came with a bathtub that was much larger than those typically found in most hotels.
Our booking included breakfast. The breakfast buffet was served in another building, so guests need to walk across to enjoy their meal. However, the spread was good with a variety of choices and it is halal-certified.
The rooftop swimming pool and bar were popular and often crowded, mainly because of the stunning city views. From the pool area, you can enjoy views of Merdeka 118 and, from certain angles, the iconic Petronas Twin Towers.
The location is decent but it may be a bit far if you plan to walk to major attractions such as Suria KLCC or Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. Depending on your walking pace, it can take around 20 to 30 minutes on foot.
One area that could be improved is the room and bathroom flooring. The floors were quite slippery, so I would recommend using the slippers provided by the hotel instead of walking barefoot. It felt like the floors could have been cleaned or scrubbed more thoroughly.

However, we encountered issues with Trip.com before our stay when requesting a date change due to a medical check-up. Although the hotel was willing to accommodate it, the booking platform made the process difficult and it could not be arranged.
In addition, our special requests (baby cot and anniversary note) were not forwarded to Pullman Hotel, so the hotel was not aware upon arrival.

The food in the executive lounge was great, with many selections available and unlimited coffee. It was also less crowded during the breakfast buffet. The Pavilion Mall is right across the street. It's a 10-minute walk via the skybridge from Pavilion to KLCC and the Petronas Twin Towers.
The room hygiene and service were five-star.
Breakfast was average, not very good. I even found a hair in my noodles, which was disgusting.
Summary: Highly recommended for its incredibly convenient location. I recommend the signature pork tripe noodles at Bamboo Noodle House on B1 of Pavilion, and the signature shredded chicken and prawn noodles at Nanyang Restaurant.
Also, Tiffany & Co. at Pavilion is about 15% cheaper than in China.
Plus, Chanel cosmetics are slightly cheaper (2-5%) than at duty-free shops like Sun Dream.
And finally, the last picture shows the bill from Bah Kut Teh at Bao Xiang Lou on the 4th floor. The taste was mediocre, and it wasn't cheap, with an additional 10% service charge and 10% tax. Not recommended.FromTWD 4,278

Hotel's location is superb. Easy access to the many local attractions and food. There is a 24hr laundry opp the hotel and a supermarket at the Central Market. Very near to KL Sentral as I travelled by train from JB-KL-JB. Room size is acceptable size with a view of the train tracks.
The staff are very polite and helpful. There are some issues with the cleanliness and room service but I have given my feedback directly to the hotel.

Seamless Group Stay and Exceptional Service!
I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn (North) Chow Kit for a business trip with a group of six. The experience was excellent from start to finish.
The highlight was definitely the check-in process. Despite our group arriving separately under a single booking, the Front Desk handled everything seamlessly. A special shout-out to Ms. Nuraldila, who went above and beyond to ensure our check-in was stress-free. She was incredibly professional and reassured me that my colleagues arriving later would be well taken care of.
The Room: I was staying on the 8th floor and absolutely loved the view. The room was surprisingly spacious, and the amenities were top-notch.
Dining: The breakfast buffet offered a decent variety, but the service truly stood out. The staff were proactive clearing plates quickly and ensuring the buffet was constantly replenished.

Initial room conditions:
When we first entered the room we encountered these things:
- Leftover jacket from the previous guest(?)
- stains on the chairs
- water stains on the wardrobe
- dead ants in the wardrobe
- a flickering light
Service:
Because we chose to stay for 7 nights, we had a 1 free make-up room offered to us which we appreciated. However when we flagged up the issues we found on the first day, they gave us a make-up room on the second day and consumed our free make-up room without our choice. We wanted to use it in the middle of the trip like the 4th day. Because of this we had no toilet paper, tissue box was empty, towels were not replaced.
After the 2nd day, they no longer replied to our texts when we enquired about using the sports lounge, requesting a makeup room, getting more toilet paper. Very bad service.
After their make-up room, they removed the jacket and cleaned the seat stains, but they did not fix the light or clean the dead ants in the wardrobe. We understand fixing a light might not be possible but the ants were easily removable and we did it ourselves after they left. It felt like they were cutting corners as they also did not replace our tissue box, clean the dead ants or clean the water stains on the wardrobe.
Ceylonz:
The hotel comes with

Room:
- the amenities provided are not the same for every room, the last time we came there was a water dispenser and pull-out kitchen, this time there isn't (same five senses at ceylonz, same room type)

- bay window
- the walls are relatively soundproof so you cannot hear other rooms but the door is not and the hallway is very audible from inside the room, we can hear people chatting, checking in, pulling luggages
Bed:
- not soft, hard bed with springs
- pillows and blanket is okay
- uncomfortable bed
We would have given this place a glowing review if they:

We're pretty picky, and we stayed here for the Sammi Cheng concert. The hotel service was absolutely top-notch, fantastic! The only minor hiccup was a slight communication issue between the booking agent and the hotel, which delayed our check-in by about 30 minutes. However, both Trip.com and the hotel offered compensation, which was appreciated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and there was absolutely no noise, which was a definite improvement over the Guangzhou Four Seasons. The room was also impeccably clean and tidy – a big shout-out to the cleaning staff! I'll definitely try to choose Four Seasons for my future travels.FromTWD 11,883

The room was clean and comfortable but the temperature control was unsatisfactory. Despite multiple attempts to adjust it, the room remained at an uncomfortably warm, room temperature.
While the breakfast selection itself was adequate, the 40-minute wait to be seated was unacceptable and reflects poor crowd management.
Furthermore, scheduling the café’s renovation from 1st to 5th May was a poor decision. Doing so during a long weekend and rain rave festive period significantly impacted guest experience and contributed to the delays.FromTWD 3,685

This is my third time staying at this hotel. The location is absolutely fantastic, right next to the Petronas Twin Towers. They even have a small shuttle buggy to save you a short walk, and the drivers are all great. The rooms are clean and tidy. We were traveling with a child, and housekeeping came to make up the sofa bed with sheets, a duvet, and a pillow, which was perfectly adequate for the little one. Getting a taxi downstairs is super convenient. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but what they do have is quite tasty and well-presented. On the 33rd floor, the Skybar allows swimming until 7:00 PM, and there's a sign stating you need to be over 20 to use the bar area itself. If you're with kids and want to see the Twin Towers up close, there's a separate area nearby for photos. I remember coming to the Skybar with friends many years ago too.FromTWD 4,933

This was my first trip to Kuala Lumpur, so I spent a lot of time choosing a hotel, mainly considering location and safety. The Ritz-Carlton offered good value for money. The lobby is luxurious and grand, but the in-room facilities are indeed a bit dated, especially the carpet which looks very old. However, the overall cleanliness was good, and the bathroom seemed to have been renovated, it was refreshing and functional, though the lighting was too harsh and couldn't be adjusted! To wash my hair, I had to switch the hot water from the regular showerhead to the rainfall showerhead, which provided plenty of water. The walk-in closet design was very convenient and practical for ladies! It's worth noting that every staff member I encountered had a smile on their face and was incredibly friendly. There was no discrimination or coldness towards Chinese guests as some reviews mentioned. In fact, when we arrived at 1 AM, the front desk lady enthusiastically escorted us to the elevator. The sofa in the room was quite large and could easily accommodate an adult for sleeping. When we arrived at 1 AM, we requested an extra quilt, and a handsome waiter delivered it with a smile within 10 minutes. Another time, when taking a taxi, the Indian driver claimed the system showed a one-way detour and requested an extra 10 cash. Since it was indeed a long detour through the hills, and I didn't want any trouble, I agreed, but I had no cash, haha. Upon arriving at the lobby, I explained the situation, and the lobby manager, S.VINOTHE, kindly paid for us. He even told us not to worry about paying him back (though we immediately withdrew cash from a nearby ATM and returned it to him). The bellhop with the flowers even kindly offered candy to my child. The bedding in the room wasn't as thick as what you'd find in China, and the hotel isn't facing a main street, so there was no noise from speeding motorbikes. We slept very comfortably for all three nights. The breakfast, however, was definitely not suited for a Sichuan palate (Sichuan and Hunan cuisine should rule the world!). I didn't have time to use the swimming pool, and I extended my check-out by 30 minutes. Overall, my stay felt well-organized and the service was warm and enthusiastic. The location is excellent and convenient, and the breakfast selection is quite rich. However, from the moment we got out of the car in the parking lot, everything went wrong. We had to carry our luggage up the stairs, and the front desk staff was unhelpful when asked questions. The room had a strange odor upon entering, and the facilities were old. There were outlets in the nightstand, but they didn't work, so we could only charge devices on the desk. We also encountered an issue where the air conditioning wouldn't turn on, making the room hot for a long time. It was a very bad experience, and we won't be returning!FromTWD 4,517

Tho they upgraded me but i’m still not satisfied with their room
1. We didn’t know we have turn on heater to shower .. end up showering in cold water damn freezing cold then when i called guest service she told me i have to stitch on the heater 🙄
2. The quilt cover has red stains not sure if it’s blood stains .. damn horrible felt so uncomfortable covering myself with it .. dun tell me when the cleaners change bedsheet that time she/he didn’t see or saw but just dun care? So this your hotel standard?
3. Breakfast was lousy .. it’s vegetarian food .. non meat .. the siew mai really CMI think i only ate prata eggs and toast .. So many people in my group was complaining too .. Haloooo everyone is a vegetarian ok!FromTWD 2,557

Service: There's a front desk, making check-in and check-out very convenient. Environment: It's 400 meters from the subway station, a 15-minute walk to Pavilion KL, and other attractions are also nearby. Facilities: The hotel doesn't provide disposable toiletries or slippers, but it does have a washing machine. Hygiene: The hygiene is quite poor. Hotel location is near to various nice eateries. Is walkable to ICC Pudu local breakfast market which is a good place to experience an authentic, old school Malaysian-Chinese breakfast in KL. The hotel is considered clean and well equipped with what is needed in a room. However, one of our room was smelly. It maybe caused by someone smoking next door or previous guest has been smoking in the room. We got both rooms for non-smoking but yet one of it was a smelly room.

Child Malaysians loves perfume and air freshener . To me it smelt a little strong on my first night . But other than that the hotel is great , nice rooftop pool with breath taking views . The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, very close to both the Petronas Twin Towers and Pavilion Mall. It rained on our second day, but the hotel has a skybridge directly connected to the mall, so we didn't even need an umbrella! The breakfast and bars are also excellent, especially the rooftop bar. You get a direct view of the Twin Towers, and the visual effect is stunning. There's a handsome Malaysian waiter named Yugesh at the bar who recommended several super delicious cocktails to us, and they were all great value for money. On the day we left, I accidentally knocked over a shower gel bottle while rushing to check out. When we checked out, the two handsome guys at the front desk kept asking if we were hurt and said not to worry about the bottle. The accommodation is near Dang Wangi LRT station, close to the Petronas Twin Towers and the Menara Tower. The staff provided good service. There's a 50 RM deposit which is refundable upon check-out, and a 2 RM tourist tax, which is standard for all hotels.
