Note that if you want to check in in person, the reception is located at a completely different address -- walk straight ahead after getting off the ferry and it's a shop on the right that also handles bookings for several other bnb places.
Otherwise, if you show up at the hotel itself, check-in is by WhatsApp only, which is a bit annoying. Also note that there's no lift, and the hotel is situated on a slope, so try to avoid bringing a lot of baggage.
While the opening hours of the restaurant / lounge area on the top floor are supposed to be until midnight, it is unstaffed and the air conditioning is turned off after breakfast hours, so I wasn't able to use the space despite it being a nice area to do some work or read.

MOVE INN (Hostel) was newly opened in 2013 and renovated. The rooms are all focused on light and soft and neo-classical style, giving people a small, clear and beautiful accommodation experience. All you need is an inn The price of cheap accommodation in hotels is very cost-effective in Hong Kong's Causeway Bay commercial area. The management staff is in place and the rooms are cleaned as new every day. Shopping in Hong Kong, traveling and sightseeing, are very suitable for staying here, experience small and beautiful!

It was impossible to find. Taxi dropped me at the front opening and said it’s down there. No signs at all. I had to take a lift to the 3 Rd floor with some random guy. I asked his hostel overseer if the knew anything.
He didn’t speak English but indicated I keep going up in the lift. Finally on the 9 th floor I saw a sign.
The room was clean and tidy not quite the room I paid for.
The lady who runs the place was very kind.

1. Very convenient transportation, the airport bus A21 Bank Center Station is less than 200 meters away, the Mong Kok and Yau Ma Tei subway stations are very close, there are many buses on Nathan Road, and it is very convenient to go anywhere
2. Eating and shopping are also very convenient, Langham Place, New Century Mall, gold specialty stores on the street, 711 convenience stores, nearby restaurants, fast food restaurants are super many, with a variety of choices
3. HSBC Mong Kok Branch, Bank of China Mong Kok Branch are very convenient, and there are Standard Chartered and Citibank
4. The room is clean and tidy, with two anti-theft doors, and it is also very safe
5. The room is equipped with shower gel, shampoo and slippers, the washing cup is useless, and other toothpaste, toothbrush and comb are Towels, bath towels and hair dryers are provided by yourself. The kettle is useless. There is no water in the room. You have to buy water by yourself. I bought a bottle for 6 yuan and 14.5 yuan. It is cheaper if you find the right place.
6. The room is equipped with a socket with conversion plugs, which is very convenient for charging.
7. There are occasional people coming in and out of the security door outside at night. It was a bit noisy on the first night, but it was much better later.
8. The room has a window, and the smell of cooking from the nearby restaurant will come in after 7:30 in the morning. The room has exhaust but the sound is relatively noisy. The bathroom also has exhaust. The air conditioner in the room has not been used.
9. Overall, I feel quite satisfied. The room in Hong Kong is small, but I am alone and I am quite satisfied with the double bed room.

Very good hostel. There is a metro station and a bus stop nearby. I was passing through Hong Kong. I was unpleasantly surprised by the prices for the metro. A very small room with 2 bunk beds. The neighbors are quiet. An inexpensive option for an overnight stay.

Hong Kong New Style Guest House is such a good place since it's along Nathan Rd. and near the mtr Mong Kok station and also near the bus stops. It's also near the Ladies market and Sneaker street. The place is quite small, so don't expect too much but since you're just travelling it's good. It has a heater in the bathroom and an aircon if the weather is hot. But since we booked in February, we didn't need to use the aircon since it was cold. All over stay was great even though we arrived at 3am, the caretaker answered our call and assisted us via call for check-in.

Great location which is next to train station but very small room with bad sound proof! If you have troublesome issues with sleeping, please double consider before book! You can hear people next door talking and every single noise they make, also booked non smoking room but we can smell it inside our room!! Bad water heater system because the water will become cold anytime in the middle of bath!!!!!

The location is very accessible to MRT, like 2 minutes away, as long as you exit the right way,. it’s around Nathan road — have shopping center, restaurants, tourist spots in a walking distance,.. Should contact the hostel in advance also, if what time you’ll be arriving because the room is only for guests, they are not staying there, you have to know the passcode to be able to enter the room,.. The outside area is the male side while there’s another room with another passcode-required locked door for girls,.. They have water dispenser outside, got wifi,.. I’m not sure regarding the bathrooms in the male side, but the bathroom in the women’s area is really small, you cannot even sit properly in the toilet, have separate shower area, I think it’s smaller than the bathroom, it’s 3 and half feet wide,.. But the area is really clean, well-maintained, they’re cleaning it daily — towels, and toothbrush is provided, have shampoo, conditioner and body wash also in the bathroom, slippers are available,.. The bed is comfortable, have thick blanket, aircon was working well,.. I think the only downside with these inn is the size of the bathroom. There’s a cctv outside, in the male area part, but they can close the curtain, so the view of the cctv is only the female area’s outside door where you can see a big mirror, dispenser, electric stove (??), the wifi details…..

It is not a typical hotel, more like a remodeled flat with several rooms on the second floor of a residential building. The only entrance is a go up staircase and you go to your room through a narrow passage. The size of my room is pretty good in compare to other Hong Kong hotels and they remodeled the entire place less than a year ago. The room looks very clean and organized in such a way that you get all you need within a limited space. The location is also very good , close to airport bus stops and to all transportation. There are many eateries and stores in this area. The staff is very friendly, I would recommend it to travelers with light luggage and short stays.

Hongkong Mingdu Hotel is located on Nathan Road in the most prosperous area of Mong Kok, especially suitable for self-guided travel and business exhibition guests.

The Hotel is in Kowloon, Mongkok, at the Nathan Rd. I can't understand why people complain about the cleanes, it's really really clean for this kind of Hotel. I stayed in two different Hotels in the Chungking Mansions before and the Mingdu Hotel was by far the cleanest.
But the rooms in this Hotel are smaller and there is a huge lack of isolation. Someone was smoking at night and i could smell the smoke alot.
The reception lady is really nice and helpful. English, Mandarin and Cantonese are provided.
I probably would stay there again.

GGuest UserThe place is very clean, the owner cleans the room everyday and filled up with new towers and the toothbrushes, there’s also space under the bed to put the luggage. It’s near the MTR C2 exit and also the A21 airport bus, very convenient for travelers, there’s also a park and shop and marketplace supermarket around the corner. A lot of restaurants at the Lock street exit. PIN style for the door, which is very convenient for multiple travelers, don’t have to worry about who will hold the room keys. Will book again next time

FFabius JulianGood location close to the red line which leads to a lot of important points. The elevators take sometimes quite long.
For Hongkong really affordable compared to other accommodations. The room was really small but that was expected and correctly reflected by the pictures. The roomservice included fresh towels. The bathroom is a wet bathroom. During our stay there was no water to flush the toilet so we had to use a basket which we filled under the sink. But that was a problem for the whole house in this time period, so it was not a mistake of the accommodation itself. The AC in the room is ok, but also needed for this small room with 5 people and a bit loud during the night.
Beds are a quite short (everyone over 170cm will have trouble stretching out fully)

KKrieshaThe service provided was okay. We did not encounter any issues while checking in and out of the hostel. Likewise, we did not encounter any issues with the room provided to us as well. Given that we spent most of our time outside, it is nice to have a decent place to have a good night's rest and gear up for the next day. For budget travellers, or those who are looking place for a clean and comfortable place to sleep during your stay in Hong Kong, we would definately recommend this place!

GGuest UserThe location is excellent, just a few dozen meters away from Exit A1 of Yau Ma Tei. There are tea restaurants and restaurants downstairs. Breakfast and dinner are very convenient, and it is convenient to go anywhere. The room is larger than similar hotels. The two beds are 1.35 meters tall, but the quilt is a bit thin. In Hong Kong, this room has a lot of space for a family of four.

AAnonymous UserI have been to Hong Kong several times, and the booking this time was pretty good. The location is quite close to the subway station. There are two McDonald's a few hundred meters next door, and there is a street below. The main thing is that the front desk service is pretty good, the attitude is very good, and the sanitary conditions are good. It’s okay, it’s quite affordable.

WWang Chang12It's cheap, not at all as the picture its advertised , like a dormitory bunker with a decent bed and mattress, blankets are clean and pillow is okay, toilet is horrible with shower and no space to move. The amenities are only bad quality roller paper and a towel. Nothing else! The hotel and attract more customers if they are better with decent real pictures and better service, the owner a guy who doesn't speak English is really unfriendly and cold. He has no way to treat guests. They had shampoo though... It's okay for one night or short term. Easy check in and out! No deposit!

AAnonymous UserI didn't really expect much so I wasn't that disappointed. But I get where the bad reviews are coming from. If you're expecting a hotel service, you'd be disappointed.
My room was really small. Rooms are situated in what seems to be an apartment unit made into small partitions. I booked a bunk bed, but I got ”upgraded” to a solo room but without a door. They just covered the door with a bedsheet haha. From what I could observe, that's the only room without door. Thought of transferring to bunk bed room a night after, but I thought I prefered having my own space even with the makeshift door. So I stayed for the next 2 nights.
The owner replied fast via whatsapp. I requested for self check-in, and instructions were on point and easy to follow. At first, I thought the room I went it belonged to somebody else because there was a small luggage under the bed. Told this to the host and he said it's his. So maybe the room I was assigned to wasn't meant to be for guests. There was an electric fan in the room.
What stands out is its LOCATION. Very near the subway, around 2 min walk to the exit. 7eleven and mcdo nearby. Famous dimsum resto called dim dim sum is in the same building. Ichiran ramen mong kok branch is also nearby.
Hostel also has washing machine, so you can do your laundry here. Shower with heater, shampoo and body wash are availbable in the two showerooms/toilets.
Overall, it is great for backpackers who just needs a place to sleep in.

GGuest UserI'm just saying, ”I'm not going to be able to do this.”
This time, the flight became morning due to the sudden schedule change of the airline, so I couldn't stay
I managed to cancel free through trip com, but it was not refundable as prescribed
It can't be helped because it is a non-refundable reservation including such a risk, but ... I'm grateful if you can make it flexible ... I went to the island early because I paid for it. (I was grateful for the convenience of early check-in) to 23 I stayed for a walk on the island until around 23.
I'll tell you first, this is not a hotel.
You can't ask for facilities and services at a private night rather than a private lodging called a leisure shop.
I feel a little expensive in terms of cospa, but I think it's a great place to understand it and touch the locals of the island.
It's a 1 room in an apartment along Dongwan Beach, just off the island port.
There is no front desk, and there is a stall next to McDonald's in front of the dock (along with other free shops) and there is a bargaining and reception.
Auntie will kindly reception and give you a map to the key and the room.
The room is in the alley of the apartment group in front of the beach, about 5 minutes walk from the receptionist, but it's a bit hard to find
In an apartment that is also an islander's residence, there is a staircase No and an alphabet at the entrance of each staircase, and this combination corresponds to the ”room number”.
By the way, my room was 11 DA, so I went into the stairs of 11 D and tried to enter the room of ”11 D” (other's house?). There was ”11 DA”
In addition, there seems to be a room in a building that does not face the sea when choosing a room, so please examine it with a photo etc. (this room was ”sea view”)
Room is small, only bed and small wall desk and toilet, but there is a small veranda, just below is the beach with ocean view and wave sound is amazing
There is no air conditioning, but when you open the window and open the door of the room, the sea breeze passes (however, the room was rounded and talked to the residents on the upper floor)
The shower is a type with a shower in the toilet of a Chinese cheap hotel, but you can see consideration (?), such as the toilet paper folder is completely covered or the paper is placed on the refrigerator.
There is no towels and amenities, with an empty refrigerator and a dryer and a folding round table, the bed is king size and spacious
As an aside, the beesan was 1 and it was convenient for walking around the island.
There are many shops near the shipyard, even massage, very convenient
I think it's an interesting facility if you understand and use the speciality of the facility.
NNur Khikmahthe place is comfortable and strategic, the cleanliness of the room area is lacking and under the bed is not neat, and the toilet is not clean and there are damaged parts that have not been repaired, good service is standard at a fairly comfortable price, thank you

SSuibianqugewangminglaIt was too late when I checked in. I was tired after walking around the city for a day. The water heater didn't heat up, so I just washed and slept. I didn't have the energy to contact the administrator again. The quilt looks a little yellow, but everything else is okay. There is an air-conditioning TV and a separate bathroom. The downstairs is full of shops owned by Southeast Asians, selling everything. Outside the building is the bustling city, and many famous attractions are just a ten-minute walk away. The 1881 Mansion and Victoria Harbor are both popular, and the Space Museum is also nearby. It is worth bringing children. As soon as I go
