This hotel is located near the Bayan Lepas International Airport which is very convenient to air travelers. Parking is easy and close to the building. The plus point of this hotel is the room which is large and spacious. The cafe is easily accessable and the prices are reasonable. You must try their mi goreng sotong......The serving is huge and tasty. Front office staff are helpful and friendly and for the present room rate they are charging, it is worth for a second visit. I love budget hotels... Been to lots of them and I know the expectation when staying at this kind of accommodation. Cheap, basic amenities, no frills concept. However Hotel Seri Malaysia Pulau Pinang just set a new standards of how a hotel should not be. I've stayed with them a couple of years ago and I know how bad their services are, but after several years maybe they might consider improving at least a little, but they prove me wrong. Check in 2 days ago, and the impression is not good. Complaints from the customers at the counter (hot water, cleanliness, etc). I thought maybe he was because bg fussy. I've got the 3rd floor room which is not a problem without lift. The room is ok but the air-conditioning is unreliable. The temperature control doesn't really works. The breakfast buffet nothing special with limited spread. I saw few tourists who bring in their own food. Don't know why but I assumed the choices of F&B is not enough for them. And the seating are so limited. I know that it is School holiday session but when the customers standinh for 10 minutes with food on their hand and no one even give a damn, then it is intolerable. I do ask for a container for me to take away the food, but as if they care. So.. Seri Malaysia hotel... If you do read this review, good, please do something for the sake of your own good. For me, no more Seri Malaysia ever. To be honest I'm ashamed they have Malaysia in their brand. Change to other name please

I especially like the environment there, the beautiful scenery, the birds and flowers, the villa is simple and chic, very emotional. There are frogs and insects in the night, and there are bird songs in the morning, which is suitable for leisure for small purposes. The waiters are warm and thoughtful, that is, the transportation is not convenient, and Chinese food and dinner are not available. Going to eat a meal will require a round trip and cost 120 MYR.

Made a last minute booking at this hotel; for a one night stay. Arrived in the evening; yeah they ad the rooms ready. Staff were decent. Good size lobby. The room Got the rooms on the 3rd floor. There is a lift; so easy to go up. Small room. Toilet seems big for budget hotel. Towel was superb; fluffy and fresh. Good hot shower with good water pressure. Just the air condition was not that cold at all. Moving around is easy with Grab. There are many food store nearby. Overall, this place is decent if you have things to do in Bayan or Airport area. Just dont expect much.

This accommodation is located right in front of Nasi Kandar Penang Kayu which opens 24 hours. Queensbay mall is nearby and only takes around 15 mins to the airport (subject to traffic) so as we only stayed 1 night to catch an early flight, it was convenient - location wise. No wifi provided though. Really have table tennis/ping pong table, dart games and movie (we didnt watch any) as seen on the pictures. The building is a bit outdated though. The tenant contacted us directly via Whatsapp and the explanation about the facility was very very clear and helpful.
