The standard of accommodation is exceptional, the rooms are great and clean, the hotel restaurant is cosy and quiet, the selection of Belgian beers is extensive and the breakfast is perfect. And most importantly, the people here are great. Especially Lindsay in particular is a role model for how F&B should represent a hotel."

"Our eight-day holiday with Bettina and Jo was a very nice experience. The cozy courtyard is very stylishly furnished and with beautiful weather. What we unfortunately had not, it is definitely very nice on the beautiful terrace. All is very lovely designed in the rooms. And Jo also offers to cook for guests at night, what we liked to accept 3 times - it was excellent. Also to mention the wonderful breakfast, with everything the heart wants - also egg food is prepared lovely by the two. Aalst is also a great starting point for the discovery of Belgium, as you reach all the important places in a maximum of one hour. In about 3 km away in Wieze, we also found a very nice and delicious local with the Brouwershaus.So around a nice experience."

"An absolute hidden gem. The staff were incredible. I arrived late in the evening, the restaurant was due to close, I was told if I could be ready to order within 15mins I would be looked after. I was there in less than 10 minutes. The food was outstanding to say the least. The service excellent. The room was very large, comfortable, warm and clean. Massive bathroom also. The only pity is was here for work. This would be a wonderful venue for a romantic getaway. Indeed, I believe the entire hotel and venue would be ideal for wedding."

"By chance, you will be in this hotel that has proved better than expected! The building was an aristocratic residence, and the renovation tried to maintain the original features The room was not very large, as well as the bathroom, but still of good size comfortable beds, tea set, and the most beautiful doll seen throughout the trip! Breakfast was really good and quite varied, served in a room on the ground floor that I liked very much In summary good quality/price ratio in Aalst... citizen that however offers only a beautiful square and little more"
